I'm sorry but I will always love me some Viva Toro. If I ever get into a serious relationship and wanna go on dates. This will be my go to spot. Nearly everyone in my family has had a birthday at this place since they've turned 21. We do annual brunches here. The food is amazing, the drinks are great, you can ride a bull which I've been wanting to do for a while, (which I completely forgot despite just being there.) The music is amazing, and it's just a good time for everyone. I've gotten their burger before as well as their steak. I've never eaten there for dinner, but I surely will sometime soon. read more

The food was pretty good, except for the price. For how much the sopes and tacos were, it was very small. The steak was presented nice but they gave 2 squeezes of mashed potatoes and tasted of bacon grease. The sopes were 6/10, steak tacos 7/10. Lobster was ok. The watermelon margarita was on the money, 10/10. Our waiter was not welcoming at all, very apathetic, most of the service was like this, some were standing around. The person who brought us our food was very nice and came back regularly to get our plates. The DJ was awesome though, was playing some great tunes back to back, he felt like working that day, my favorite part. It's clean, the bathrooms were very clean. Personally won't come back due to service and pricing. read more

My friend celebrated her birthday here and reserved a table for 10. When the night came, only 9 of us showed up. We all arrived within the reservation window, just at slightly different times. When she checked in, she let the host know a few people were parking and walking in. His response? A snare and, "Hmm it's late... very late." Mind you, when she made the reservation she told them she'd arrive around 9:30. Fast forward. Once everyone arrived, he tells her, "You were supposed to be here for 9 and weren't, so I gave your table away." This is after she paid $100 to reserve it. Then he says, "I'll do you a favor and make a table for you." Sir... a favor? After taking her reservation fee? We finally get seated and he comes back insisting there are 10 of us and that we have to order from the prix fixe menu. There were 9. From the very beginning his energy was off. Service overall was slow. The vibe was cool if you like loud Spanish, dembow, reggae, and pop. After 11 it basically turns into a club. The food, for me, was subpar. I won't be returning. read more

We came for brunch and a time was had! When they say bottomless they mean it our glasses were never empty. The food was good too wish the steak was a bit thicker but for the price it is what it is. We enjoyed the dancers when they came out and the DJ was cool. Id def check them out if you're looking for good vibes and brunch! read more

This was my first time coming to this new location. In the past, I used to go to the other location with the upstairs and I'm happy to say that the restaurant has not fallen off after all those years. I'm so thankful that they survived the pandemic. I came here on a Sunday at 2:30 PM with my sister-in-law for brunch and we had an awesome time. We wanted to ride the boat, but it wasn't available until after 5 PM which was a bit of a disappointment, but definitely not a dealbreaker. We both ordered the same dish for brunch and I substituted my pork sausages for chicken since I don't eat pork. All of the food was flavorful and juicy. For appetizers as we got the guacamole and calamari which we're both amazing. The sangria that came along with the brunch was very tasty And all in all everything was a 10 out of 10, including the service. The entertainment was a major surprise and the restaurant basically turned into a party with transformers and stilt figures. This place is definitely the place to be for a weekend brunch and I'm looking forward to going back with more family members and friends. read more

My friend and I went here for taco Tuesday. We got here about 5pm and it was pretty empty. The male host was talking on his phone when we arrived then eventually greeted us. He got annoyed as he was taking us to our table because my friend wanted to take a picture by their sign, so he walked back to his podium and continued his phone conversation. Umm okay customer service! Our table service wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. It was an older gentleman and his service was a little slow but we were in no rush and was patient. It did get a bit busier after we arrived. Can't remember if they had a live DJ but they definitely had great music playing. Drinks: we indulged in the happy hour $7 frozen margaritas (flavor + $1). I had the passion fruit and my friend had the coconut, both were really good! She stuck with her flavor while I tried the mango for round 2, mango was also good. Food: we started with the chips and guac which was really good and fresh and good portion size. I decided to do the All You Can Eat tacos but was disappointed because they don't have any pork options (not even for Al a carte! Come on! Where is the carnitas and Al pastor option?! I don't eat beef/steak, so I was limited to the chicken and fish. Anyhoo, the fish was by far the best of two options. It was seasoned well, crispy outside, and juicy inside. Would've liked a little more toppings though. The chicken was okay, not bad but just okay. I wish birria was actually goat as it's supposed to be or that they (and other places) would make other meat options besides beef birria style as well. My friend had the Enrolame la Flauta which were very good, small but good! Would go back and recommend. read more

Great for a date night and/or a night out with friends! They have delicious food, good drinks, good music- a mixture or everything!! Which is great! They have hookah available too and if you don't smoke it, it wouldn't bother or feel too smokey, there's enough space and room in the entire place. Very open. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our waiter seemed busy with other customers and the staff stepped in and helped us. It didn't make us feel like we weren't being taken care of. Teamwork! I thought it was a good experience. There is a photographer taking pics and selling them. I personally think on this it is definitely overpriced $20 a pic. Drink: Hennessy Mojito i ordered 3! A really good drink (4.5/5) So now lets talk food Appetizers: Grilled octopus very good! (4.8/5) We just had to order another one! Guacamole was good (3.5), i enjoyed it. Main entrée : Salmon With mashed potatoes and asparagus was good! (3/5) I finished The place is a one stop for an evening out- good music-atmosphere-food drinks hookah- I will def be going back. Came on a Thursday night with a group of people and there was not much going on. Music playing in the background but nothing crazy. Pretty empty besides 2 or 3 other groups sitting down at the tables. We sat at the bar and ordered happy hour drinks and appetizers. I got a sangria on the rocks for $7, which was delicious. Also ordered barbecue wings (on the bone), $8. There were 4 small wings in the order. They were okay. We got the nachos which was $35. The description said it could serve 4 people. It was tinyyyyy. Definitely more like a personal plate, maybe 2 people can share it, maybe. Definitely overpriced. Overall this place was okay, the bartenders were nice. Hookah was okay. Might be more lively on a Friday/Saturday night. Street parking, have to circle a bit to find a spot. read more

Hostess stand is a mess, once you sit down at a table then the service becomes excellent. The food and drinks were great.

My mother had her birthday brunch here. To reserve we needed a $10 deposit per person, no biggie. They seated us promptly. This place is perfect for big groups. They really know how to have fun and make brunch a wonderful experience! Everyone pretty much enjoyed their food. I enjoyed my calamari as well as the steak and eggs. Service was good he kept our mimosa and sangria pitchers full. Really enjoyed the live music/ entertainment. read more

I went to Viva Torres for Moms Night Out. Judy Torres was performing. Its a restaurant / club. Had an appetizer. Wings were good, Drinks and service were on point. I had my go to Lychee Martini which was delicious! They first said she was coming out at 11pm, then 1230am. At that point it was really crowded and it was a club ambiance. All good I waited but when she didn't come out I left. It was a good night that could have been better had I seen Judy. read more

Service was very slow and inattentive, even though the place was basically empty and there were plenty of staff standing around. Food tasted good but was overly oily. For four people, the bill came to $324 cash or $337 credit card, including an automatic 20% gratuity of about $50. This was not clearly stated on the menu, and for the level of service we received, it did not feel justified. They do switch into more of a club vibe after 9 PM, which might appeal to some. But purely as a restaurant experience, I would rate it 5 out of 10. read more

Baby... if you're looking for an amazing brunch spot, please come here. They offer 1.5 hours of unlimited mimosas and sangria, plus a starter and entrée--all for $55. The DJ keeps the vibe going with great music, and they even have dancers who come out and perform with the crowd. My family and I celebrated my cousin's birthday here--about 15 of us--and we had such a great time! Believe it or not, I'm already planning my next visit! read more

Had a great time! Went to a retirement brunch, for $65 a person, we received an appetizer, an entree and unlimited sangria and mimosas for 2 hours and they kept them coming! Hookah took place, not sure if it was part of the package or if my party added it later, $25 for refills. I had the empanadas and the toro burger. The empanada were yummy , the burger was good, not one of my favorites, the fries were tasty. Drinks were cool. The vibe was everything, DJ kept the place upbeat the whole time. He was playing some good songs, something for everyone, merengue, bachata, r&b, soca, reggae, old school. He did not disappoint. Staff was pleasant, place was clean, including the bathroom. It was a great Vibe. The only thing I wasn't fond of, was the unisex bathroom. Walked in to a man using the bathroom with the door open. That's a no for me. read more

Great happy hour options, went on Wednesday and HH was all night. Margs were quite strong even on HH pricing! It's a large space, wasn't too busy but a bit loud especially with the game being shown. The queso fundido was great as well as the tacos, I had chicken, shrimp and beef...my favorite was probably chicken. They have bottomless tacos and drinks also on Tuesday too I think. Service was attentive! read more

Overly priced Food is disgusting not worth the money. It's probably the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Atmosphere was also horrible. Staff is very rude. This place was a waste of my time and money. I will never be going back or recommending to anyone. Kind of ruined my birthday and I known I would've went somewhere else read more

So I met some family at this restaurant and I was glad we did. The location is in the warehouse district of Williamsburg. You van find parking in the near by blocks. The place is a very good size space with plenty of seating. I sat at the bar awaiting my family. The drinks were on point, the bartender was really good. They also have happy hour if your in the area. When we got seated it seemed the drinks changed, definitely not the same. I went back to ordering directly from the bartender I started of with. Other than that all else was ok. I ordered shrimp tacos and ended with churros! I do recommend if your in the area. The atmosphere was good for groups I recommend. read more

I was at VIVA TORO on the 11/16/25 after work around 5 pm celebrating a friends birthday. It was my first time there and I was in AWW!! of how spacious the place was and welcoming. It accommodated every size group that came in. the drinks were great and the food was delicious. "I had to lick my fingers good." There was room to line dance ( Boots on the ground, Electric slide ect.) your Manager was the best she helped and please everyone her name was (MARY) she kept the birthday celebrations satisfying for everyone that had one and they left there very happy. I would be recommending VIVA TORO to all of my friends. I love it. Your customer sandrafrompanama read more

I do not recommend paying for bottle service or having any event at this establishment. They charged a hefty New York price for bottle service but did not know what we ordered when we arrived (despite weeks of communication), did not have the drinks that we requested, and did not provide a custom sign (as advertised). Book with caution. read more

Very lively and spacious place. Had dinner here and stayed for the club at night. The tacos weren't bad here and we had the pitchers of Margaritas. So I came here for Cinco De Mayo with friends and it was absolute mad house. The wait for table was about 2+ hrs which is my only major complain about this place. My review is mainly for the food. Now the food, 10 out of 10. Had the yuca fries that came with a garlic butter dipping sauce (could be wrong bout that), spicy shrimp tacos, and chicken burrito. Drinks were good and this place has like 3 bars (spacious venue). Interior was cute as well. There was also live band that day and DJ played a variety of music. Overall, I'd come back but I just hope it's not that crowded. read more

Located in Williamsburg, Viva Toro may be a little hard to get to but it's a good time. We went for brunch with the intention that there would be bull riding and vibes. There wasn't any bull riding but there was entertainment in the form of dancers in costumes. One thing to note is that they will scan the ID of each person who walks in. A few people from group were late and they allowed us to wait by the bar, this way we would could all start our 90 minute brunch experience together. The server came by to take our order once we were seated. You get a choice of one entree and one appetizer and mimosas or sangria. I chose the empanadas and steak with eggs and potatoes and had the sangria as my drink. The empanadas were a mixture of cheese and chicken. I liked the cheese the best, the chicken was not the best. The entree was just okay and the drinks were not strong. I think if I'd come back I would come for the vibes. Drinks and hookah would be what I'd come for and of course the music. All in all brunch was 55 dollars and they add mandatory 20 % gratuity. read more

So I had an 3 o'clock reservation it's my 44th birthday and I had an amazing time at the table waiter 100% he was so good. We gave him an extra tip. He was amazing towards the end of the night. Some people were leaving some people were staying waiting for someone to get picked up so we went to the bar our bartender his name is Jesus. He gave us absolutely the worst service you can ever receive now me is the birthday girl I got one drink from him then he told me I needed to eat something which I didn't agree with him, but my boyfriend was like maybe you need to eat something I said OK fine even though I just had a full meal so I got two drinks from him altogether and he decided that I wasn't able to get any more drinks at the bar absolutely spoiled my birthday because I had to wait for like 2 1/2 hours for someone that lived out of state for the car ride to come and get them to go home so I was sitting at the bar not allowed to get any drinks and it was because this person deemed that I couldn't have any and I was super confused because I can't understand if I was asking drunk or falling off of my chair or stumbling, but I road the bull came back and he wouldn't give me a drink so I was super confused. I tried to let it go, but then he got into a whole conversation with My Niece about it so he's looking out from my best interest My boyfriend is still ordering drinks for him for himself and tipping this guy we spent over $900 at this place and and although my initial experience was amazing and I had so much fun and I 100% was already planning my next visit there Jesus definitely soured my opinion about the place and I will never go again. The whole idea that I had to sit there for two hours and go back-and-forth about me having one drink was just a horrible experience. I won't be coming again. I will be spending my at other restaurants that make more sense read more

Ambiance was fun! We went for dinner and stayed to party! I will say they were kind of slow with service because they put us all the way in the back in the cut but once we placed our order, the food came out quickly. You must have your whole party there before being seated! We all ordered the pre fix menu which comes with apps including chips, empanadas, quesadillas and calamari. The best main course was either the steak or pork chops. The pork chops were tender and came with yuca fries. The presentation was phenomenal. I got the burrito and wish I didn't but it was okay. Then we watched the boxing fight that was on the screen paperview and smoked hookah while a mix of hip hop, reggae and reggaeton played. The DJ was on point read more

I came here for brunch this past Sunday and the place is very big, loved the comfy seating! The food was delicious and def worth the price. Not expensive I think it was about $40 for bottomless for 2 hours plus your appetizer and entree! Love dj, dancers, and hookah option! The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because I feel the mimosa didn't really have alcohol, other than that this place is great! Def loved it! And the waiters were nice and friendly. We came here 3 times to ride the elusive bull. The first time we called and were told that he was there. When we got there, he was gone. We weren't told that he leaves when brunch is done to make room for when the place changes into a club. We ate and saw a big head bad bunny impersonator and a dancer. We came back the next Sunday since we were told he is available during Sunday brunch. However, he was not. He is only available on certain Sundays during the month. We ate again and they had a dancer and a lady making balloon animals for kids. We asked again when and what time the bull would be available. We were told Sunday March 21 between 2 to 5PM. We came back this third time and he was there. The cost is 5$ for 2 rides. You have to sign a waver and be over 18. It was worth it since it was fun, especially after having the unlimited sangria during brunch. They do not post on the website or social media when the bull is available. Your best bet is to call and ask. The pictures represent the couple of times we came here. The food was ok, we came 3 times and we tried different things. I liked their calamari and the Churrasco Steak. My son liked his burger and fries. My friend had the chicken and waffles which she felt was dry. Also, she had the huevos rancheros which she didn't like. She did like the guacamole. Servers were great they kept refilling our sangria throughout. It is a fun brunch place with different activities and nice music with their DJ. It does turn into a club at night. The club advertises some live performers on special days. I do want to try their patron tower some time. read more

I have been here before for the nightclub and it's pretty nice, the drinks are a bit overpriced and they charge cover at the door past 12. I came for dinner for the first time for a birthday on Saturday night and didn't have the best experience. Our drinks came out pretty quickly. I tried their frozen mango margarita and it was delicious. Perfect balance of sweetness and tequila. The food took an hour and a half to come to the table. I believe that was pretty absurd. My friend had to return his steak since it wasn't cooked to the right temperature so he ended up eating alone since we had all finished our food when his steak came back. I ordered guacamole with chips and shrimp, birria and steak tacos. They were pretty good but were a little bit too spicy for my liking. Since the restaurant turns into a nightclub at 11 and the food took forever to get to the table, I felt like we were rushed at the end to finish our food. The service was not great and our waiter was pretty rude, he seemed annoyed when my friend told him his steak wasn't cooked properly. Will most likely not be returning for dinner. read more

We had a prefix menu that included an appetizer platter to share, your choice of entree, desert, and one complementary drink. The appetizers stole the show!!! Each appetizer I tried was great, each one, but the Flueta De Pollo was my fave! For an entree I order the Salmon Borracho but subbed in rice and beans and it was amazing. Well flavored and filling. I had a frozen margarita as my drink and it was also really good. Many of us also had hookah, which was decent as well. The service was good, the vibe was great, the DJ was fantastic!
