The staff is great, and just as importantly Dr. Himelhoch cares. There have been at least two incidents where I called in while the office was closed for vacation, and she called back personally and met me in her office outside of work hours. For us, we were looking for someone with the education and experience that she has for our kid's braces. Nothing bad to say, sometimes busy and you have to wait a little but they do keep things moving in the office.

The staff and dental hygienists were completely exceptional, and it is unfortunate that Dr…read more Himelhoch was utterly terrible. She had terrible interaction skills with my 4 year old who is new to a dental office (2nd/3rd time). My child had a cavity identified during the initial visit that needed to be addressed. We came back over for the follow up where initially with the [perfectly lovely and child-centered] hygienist, we were told that my child could sit on my lap to make the experience more comfortable for her. The dentist proceeded to come in, and told us it wasn't going to work like that and that she would have to sit on her own to get the procedure done. I don't know if anyone else has ever dealt with 4 year olds, but when one set of expectations is set and then pulled off the table, it typically doesn't go well. As I was comforting her, I can hear Dr. Himelhoch in the background tell my child "Well, you don't really have an option" AS MY CHILD IS CRYING. Then, she proceeded to ask if I needed assistance in restraining my child to get her in the seat. Finally, when my child is inconsolable, she suggested getting the infant lap seat. If that was an option, why wasn't that the initial suggestion instead of waiting for the inconsolable child to get to that level. When I finally told them I did not want to go forward to it today as it was out of control at that point, she then proceeded to address my child with a "I'm very disappointed in you for making this so difficult for you mom." WHAT?!?

I came to Dr. Sue Lee roughly nine months ago with quite a few problems. I had an incredibly narrow…read morebite, there were big gaps between some of my teeth and my lower jaw came a little forward--I was a border line surgical case. Thankfully, my treatment worked so well that I didn't need surgery. Best of all, it took no time at all to get my teeth in a position that Dr. Lee and myself were happy with. I decided to have braces as an adult so I was very happy to find a treatment that moved my teeth so rapidly. Overall, I am very happy with the results. Aside from the treatment itself, I also liked the way I was treated by all the staff. They were always very nice and you can tell that Dr. Lee puts a lot of thought into her practice. Also, I never had any nasty surprises bill wise. She sat with me and broke down all the costs thoroughly on my first visit. On a final note, Dr. Lee obviously takes pride in her work. One day when I came in after wearing an expander device (I think it is one she designed herself), she was evidently very pleased and excited about how well it was working. It is always a good sign when your practitioner shows genuine pride in what they do. A big thumbs up.

I really didn't want to go to a dentist again so soon after my last visit to my previous dentist only 2 months ago but I'm really glad I made the trip to Moynihan Dental Specialists. The experience was so much more personal than any of the offices I've been to in Boston. Right away I was greeted by a friendly face upon my arrival. I didn't have to wait very long either before my name was called. Dr. Leung showed me everything and explained what I was seeing so that I could understand the danger I was facing after part of my filling came out. He was very patient and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole appointment and spent a good amount of time making sure my bite was perfect and didn't feel uncomfortable after the filling was replaced. You can really tell that he cares about his patients. I was even given a free consultation about Invisalign verses braces by Dr. Moynihan which was awesome because I've been wanting to fix my overbite for some time now. Overall the whole office is wonderful. They really go out of their way to making sure their patients leave their office with a smile on their face. Definitely planning on coming back!

I was so grateful. My son was in quite a bit of pain and would have had to miss going to see his friends on Sunday to get the issue fixed on Monday. I was considering going to the emergency room which would have been hours of waiting. Dr. D'Aloisio really took care of my son. I would recommend this practice to anyone.
