Facility: The facility is well-kept clean and comfortable. The equipment that they used seemed up-to-date. For example, when the dentist came in he was able to show and display all of my teeth in front of me on a large screen and explained thoroughly what he was seeing and what to look out for. Staff: Administrative: administrative staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. They were able to explain the paperwork and how much the visit was including my insurance costs as well in a very calm and kind way (Monique?). Professional Staff: my hygienist name was Kathy. She was very knowledgeable and kind. Not only was she good at her job she was good at holding a good conversation and getting to know me and sharing a bit about herself. My dentist was Dr. Cheong. He was really welcoming as well and professional. Not only was he professional, but he was able to hold a welcoming conversation too. Scheduling: Super easy, they were able to get me in for a wisdom tooth extraction in less than a month. Highly recommend! read more

STOP! WE DO NOT RECOMMEND - They tell you what you want to hear. But in reality, they do not take the time to actually listen to your questions, they just give "yeah,yeah, we will take care of that", dentist wouldn't bother really answering the questions, he was annoyed or too much in a hurry. The dentist consistently treats you with attitude that he is better than you and feels very put off when you ask him questions that normally would be asked. The office manager that sells the procedures, she is so "slick" and tells you what you want to hear just to get your money. The material they use for going through a cosmetic reconstruction is VERY CHEAP, not what they say it is, don't take the time to explain what the procedure is or what happens next.. website says Emergency Services.....they DO NOT have emergency services, my partner had so many issues and they would not take appts on an emergency, don't have any one for on-call, they are basically treating you as a number and can't get you out fast enough instead of taking the time to listen and understand what the patient is asking or going through.. they expect you to pay $1000s+++ , but yet once they got your money, they don't treat you well at all. oh and of course they recommend you get better stuff the more you pay, NOT true, the partials before the true permanent ones where so cheap, my partner could barely eat soft food without them breaking every other week, Their customer service is horrible, you leave a message and they RARELY call you back, you actually speak with some and they say the office manager will call back, but you have to call again at least three times over a period of days before she actually talks to you; they are absolutely horrible! I do NOT recommend! They criticize dental work done outside the practice. The receptionists are rude. Constant staff turnover, overbooked appointments.. They don't file some claims, or ask you to file yourself. They create more work for themselves, like saying I should replace a crown, because it was old and then I go for a second opinion and was told there was no need to replace it. Gave Assembly Dental a try because of the good reviews here. Switched dentists after my initial appointment. Pros: Brand new office, and yes they have flashy equipment and big TV screens to distract you while you're in the chair. Planet Earth and Great British Bake Off, great. Cons: The hygienist was fine, but it was the dentist that put me off this place. On an initial visit he breezed through my x-rays and decided I needed $7K worth of work, including Invisalign. My questions were met with an entitled attitude. Not to mention when I said what I was studying (after he asked) he replied, "So what are you going to do with *that*?" Nothing like having to defend yourself while laid back, mouth open, in the dentist chair. Re: the front desk, I also don't understand how in 2022, you can slide somehow a suggested treatment plan of $7K and with a completely straight face say "there are payment options available." (And I have insurance!) I get that the healthcare industry is messed up as a whole but the lack of compassion (or reality) irked me here. They also made me sign the suggested plan, which I've never had a dentist office do. When I asked to make sure the form was not binding, they looked at me like I was crazy. Sorry, just want to make sure I'm not signing a $7K bill into existence, is that weird to you? Switched dentists now and had $300 worth of work done. Fitted for a snap on smile I paid 6000.00 to be professionally fitted for a snap on smile The dentist was rude and just started to put some kind of apparatus in my mouth without any explanation He literally sat back in his seat and said " how could you let your teeth get so bad. He proceeded to poke and prod and came up with a price of 6000.00 I kid you not I paid 6000.00 for upper and lower prosthesis teeth.he assured me I would be able to eat with them if I paid extra for " bridges" I did this with a feeling that he was over charging I surveyed other providers after this fiasco I was told that is a very inflated price do not charge such an exorbitant price. So at the event I was mortified I was unable to eat at all the prosthetic teeth were slipping off my teeth mostly on the bottom where I was told the bridges were needed. also the color of the teeth were a grayish hue all this for 6000.00 I did my research after the procedure and was horrified that the 6000.00 was greatly inflated. I called the office and they told me to come in. The dentist came in and appeared annoyed I was told by the dentist actually I taken aback by him as he told me that they are fitted for cosmetic purposes only I told him this is not what I was told when he was taking my 6000.00 dollars. I am now experiencing gaping sores on both sides of my tongue just from wear them "cosmetically. The dental hygienist (I wish I remember her name) was very kind and did such a great job cleaning my teeth! I am so happy! I had gone for a cleaning somewhere else in August and the woman did not remove the tartar built up. I went back to Assembly Dental in November and she was able to remove it with a regular cleaning! Both the dentist and dental hygienist made me feel so comfortable and gave me good advice on what I need to do moving forward, but were not rude about it. This place is AMAZING! I was traumatized as a kid to go to the dentist... I've always waited until I was in excruciating pain to go to the dentist and then would be traumatized again again as an adult. I finally decided I need to act like an adult and make/go to my appointments. After days of searching I found Assembly and Dental and this place is exceeded all my expectations. I've had about 7-8 appointments here now, all in 2021. They're COVID19 precautions are great. Overall, it's extremely clean and modern, with a giant flat screens and Netflix in all exam rooms to keep you distracted and calm. They actually train their front desk staff and are all EXTREMELY knowledgeable with billing, etc. I'm extremely grateful for that, cause I usually only get the "I don't know, you will have to call billing." After the first visit, they break everything down for you, including estimated costs of each procedure, so you have an idea of what to expect. I was genuinely shocked after my initial appointment. And Dr. Pepito is AMAZING. She's wicked friendly and knowledgeable, thorough with not only the explanations, but each procedure as well! I had a previous front filling that was done terribly and she replaced it made it look amazing, you can't even tell there's a filling right in the front! I'm also a little baby when it comes to needles and she's extremely caring and gentle with that as well. I absolutely recommend this place. All the staff: front desk, DA, Hygienists, were all superb. They do a fine job, but try to sell you on things and create more work for themselves each time - like saying I should replace a crown because it was old and "food could get stuck in it" and then the dental hygienist later saying there was no need to replace it. Then the next cleaning, the dentist telling me I should consider Invisalign for the very minor movement of my teeth since I had braces 20 years ago. So I switched dentists, and forgot I had a filling scheduled so called over 24 hours in advance to cancel -- but be warned, they require 48 hours to cancel and I Had to pay $65 to NOT go to an appointment. Feels like they're trying to get money around every corner. read more

I'll start by saying that the dental team is fantastic and the space itself is sparkling clean. For the actual dental work I give them 5 stars. It's the on the administrative side that I feel the organization falls completely flat. They have instituted several new policies that, while disguised as convenience are really a data grab. At best these new policies are designed as a revenue center and, at worst, discriminate against lower income patients without access to online banking or credit cards who instead must place a $150 deposit simply for the right to become a patient. While as a society we have become accustomed to such practices from big corporations it is shocking to me that such policies are taking a foothold in our health and dental care providers. They also now institute a $25 fee in order to receive the records for work which you have already paid for. The result is if you were a prior patiant and cannot afford the $150 deposit you now must pay $25 to have your records transferred to another more affordable institution. How has it come to this with institutions whose presumed goal is to help the community gain access to healthcare? read more

The best dental place I have ever been to! I started with Assembly Dental earlier in 2021 and it was the best decision I have ever made. Once you walk in, the front desk is super friendly, they are quick to greet you and get you checked in. They always follow the COVID precautions which is nice! As someone who is a bit scared of going to the dentist this place has been wonderful. All the people I have interacted with have been extremely kind and also very informative with walking you through any procedure that has to be completed. Dr. Chan W CHEONG (Prosthodontics) provided, twice, new crowns via Cerec system (completed in 2 hrs). It had been years since I'd been to the dentist--As a kid, I had such horrible experiences that when I became an adult with personal agency, going to the dentist was the very last thing I wanted to do with my time. I know most people feel this way and most power through those feelings, but I did not. Fast forward many years and my teeth weren't in great shape. I looked online for a dentist and noticed that pretty much each dentist's bio for Assembly Dental said they believe in a different, pain-free dental experience. I was the biggest skeptic in the world, but I can tell you now that they've really, truly delivered on it. Since Nov. 2019, I've been to Assembly Dental about 5 times. The first was an emergency appointment for a chipped tooth. Even though they saw me pretty much immediately, my anxiety during this appointment was absolutely through the roof. I remember filling out my intake form and there was a question on there: "Do you like your smile?" I answered No, and I meant it. After going over my X-Rays, Dr. Ellura Pepito reassured me that there was nothing wrong with my teeth that couldn't be fixed, and I could tell she meant it. Over the next several visits, I found that to be true and then some. Which brings me to the point of the review. In general, I would characterize the staff at Assembly Dental with the following adjectives: knowledgeable, friendly, funny, courteous, professional, direct, kind, personable, and passionate. And for the way Dr. Pepito handled my tooth extraction, borderline heroic. An extra-special shout out to the amazing and kind dental assistants, like Stephanie, who aside from having excellent taste in Netflix shows and movies, actually managed to take more than a dozen X-Rays of my teeth without causing me any discomfort or gagging even once (which I don't think anyone else has ever accomplished in my entire life, honestly). And Dan (at least I think it's your name!), who came out to the waiting room last night to say "Hi" and "How are you!" despite not even being assigned to Dr. Pepito for my appointment (Can you even imagine?) Plus, three of the most incredibly kind and professional front desk administrators I've ever met. I don't know how, but you've even made that process kind of fun (I'm so sorry I don't remember your names, but I am sure you know who you are). And Kathy, the reassuring dental hygienist who did my first cleaning in quite a long time with a kind of humor and care that made the experience not just something I didn't mind, but enjoyable. And of course, I don't think there are enough superlative things I can say about Dr. Pepito. She is an unbelievably smart, capable, and compassionate dentist. Having a goal of a pain-free dental experience is admirable enough, but she actually delivered. Somehow not even the anesthesia shots hurt! And that's how it is here. The utlra-clean, ultra-modern facilities absolutely make a difference, and so do the giant flat-screens in every room with Netflix (they'll even offer you a pair of noise cancelling headphones to wear during your appointment if you have a phobia of the drill noise.) They're open seven days a week and they're open late. I mean, it's really hard to find anything to complain about. But, as with most things in life, it's the people that can make or break an experience and, on that front, I don't know how they do it. From Dr. Pepito, to Kathy, to Stephanie, to the front desk folks; it's not enough to say that I don't mind going to the dentist anymore. I actually look forward to it! If you told me in October 2019 that I would be writing that sentence in January 2020, I would have told you that you were dreaming. But, like I tell everyone I've talked to in person about this place: I absolutely love it. I had tremendous anxiety over choosing a new dentist when I moved. In Seinfeld terms, I'm a "rabid anti-dentite" to begin with so I don't like dentist visits period. Dr. Pepito does a tremendous job! UPDATE: I wish I could rate this place lower than 0 stars. After the unnecessary , childish back and forth with the receptionist, I found a new dentist. When my new dentist tried to get my records and x-rays from Assembly Dental, they refused and said I would have to pay $25 for them to be emailed over. My new practice said this is absurd and just a ploy to get money out of their patients. It does not cost $25 to send an email! They were shocked. Those x-rays were paid for by me and my insurance company - they belong to me and I should not have to pay additional money for digital copies. Anyway, it's clear that even those in the dental business themselves can see this place is only interested in money. Great experience highly recommend it. They did a cleaning my first visit took xrays and then I went over my plan of attack for some cavities and what i need along with the price which was great. I got a printout of my plan and also my copays which is nice so i can fit it, on my budget ahead of time. When it came to the actual service, it was fast painless and very well done. It took about 1hr, there was little to no discomfort and i was at such easy I believe i fell asleep. I am extremely happy and will be going back for hopefully many years to come. Side benefits include a big Netflix screen to watch or listen to whichever show i would want while the work is done. Overall a great experience. read more

From check in to leaving, overall great customer service, friendly check in, following covid protocol, easy scheduling, and good location. I had not been to a dentist for a while as I am highly anxious going to the dentist, have never found a dentist close by, and scheduling times never worked for my job as a nurse. Assembly dental has easier scheduling options for me, late visits, and flexibility. The dental hygienist was so polite and educated me while cleaning my teeth. I wish the dentists had taken more time though with patient education as my questions never seem to get answered. If not able to educate, they should be giving literature. As a nurse, I always want to know "why is this necessary" etc. I believe if the patient doesn't understand why they need to do something like floss everyday then why would patients be compliant. I hold 2 bachelor degrees and understand science. Yet, the doctors explanations were over simplified and I feel that he placated me. I should not have to google everything, as this always leads to dr google. The office was clean, high tech, nice tv with apps, comfortable chair. There was no prolonged wait time. My only suggestion is to educate patients more. Do not try to oversimplify things like patients can't understand. If the first explanations do not work, then try a different method. My job as a nurse is to educate for prevention care. This should be done more in dentistry as it would lead to fewer cavities, gum disease, etc. if a patient does not understand the "why am I doing this", it tends to lead to bad results. read more
