Our…read moreold concrete slabs were cracked, and had shifted, altering the drainage of water to flow towards our house. After interviewing many landscape pavers, Ideal Engineering stood out for being prompt to all the meetings, willing to visit multiple times to double-check measurements before bidding and were knowledgeable on the current state of available inventory and which showrooms to visit to preview them. Prices were very reasonable and transparent. There were no unplanned mark-ups and all change orders were reviewed and had to be approved by me in advance, so I could budget accordingly. I think this is an advantage of choosing a local paver. The work was efficient and professional - different specialized crews for demolition, irrigation, paving, cleanup were used with their own knowledgeable foremen. Each foremen acted as an available point of contact and communication was easy and friendly. Any texts or calls were usually returned within minutes. The teams were proactive in highlighting any complications or issues that might require design approval to make sure the work they did matched what I had in mind. For example, Pedro, the paver lead felt it was better to create a smooth curve at a corner instead of a straight 90 degree corner, and he was right! The boundaries flowed smoother and nicer with the lawn. The paving work was top-notch. We had decided to install premium pavers from Belgard, and it was important the work was done properly for such an investment. This included grading at the proper slopes for proper drainage, adding weed-resistant fabric, multiple levels of graded stone for proper leveling and polymeric sand for good sealing between pavers. The team helped build custom steps that looked very nice to create easy step-downs and paver edging was done with great style and aesthetics. For a potentially complicated project, I really felt confidence in the team and the process. David also helped offer advise in helping me move and reset our external heat pump units so that they could be reinstalled on top of the pavers. They were able to build conduits to facilitate running irrigation and electricity underneath the pavers for adding drip irrigation of containers and future lighting in our garden. Cleanup was thorough, with parts of our yard reseeded and topped with new topsoil. There was no construction debris left on our lawn or streetside. Everything was swept up. Fence gates that were temporarily removed were re-installed to appear as if nothing ever happened. I would definitely use Ideal Engineering (Ideal Landscape & Concrete) again for future projects.

Fast forward to 2026, the irrigation system was not working properly due to time and use. After explaining the situation, he sent his main irrigation technician, Jose, who was the one who installed it in the first place, to come and troubleshoot. In 30 minutes, he figured the problem and fixed it right there and then. I love the working relationship we have built with this company and will be using them over and over again for all of my outside landscaping/ hardscaping projects! Highly recommend them hands down ALWAYS!

This involved pouring over 1,500 sq. ft. of concrete, a large retaining wall, a patio deck, a new lawn, and a playground area. Here were some of the highlights of my experience: - Design Guidance: I relied heavily on Baltazar's experience and keen sense of design. His elegant hardscaping solution for the pool transition zones exceeded my expectations and tied the yard together perfectly. - The grading and drainage were very well done. Despite heavy rains, there was zero pooling; the rain gutters were routed directly into pipes beneath the concrete for a clean, streamlined look. - Smart Home Integration: All landscape lighting and irrigation were hooked up to smart-home enabled controllers for total automation and convenience. - The office staff was very responsive, addressing any concerns or follow-up questions usually within a single business day. Props to Gladys and Dahlia! Highly recommended!

It was over 3500 sq ft of lawn and irrigation, as well as concrete fixes around other parts of our property and pool tile repair. I chose them because they had the best strategy to combat the problem, even though they weren't the cheapest quote we received. I wanted the fix to last long term, not just hold me over for a year or two before another gopher invasion destroys our yard. Everything was extremely professional and delivered to contract specifications. We were extremely happy with the results. They had to move a portion of our fence to get the big equipment in but you wouldn't even know it had been moved because they were total pros putting things back. When we asked for additional scope of work (a French drain), they were quick to get back to me with a quote and incorporating the additional work didn't push out the timeline. All in all, highly recommend and we'll definitely use them again for our landscaping needs.

I needed all the overgrowth cleared out, wanted to replace the patch of lawn with pavers, and add 4 sturdy posts for hanging hammocks. I didn't want to commit to building a full blown shade structure, and I'm still considering options for my perimeter flower beds. Juan was very accommodating and suggested a phased approach, which worked out great. I'll be able to use my yard now, while I ponder how far I want to go in the future. Importantly, his crew busted out the whole job in 3 and a half days! Other quotes I got indicated it would be at least a week, maybe longer. I have an in-person role at work so time off was limited and the speed he offered was key. They crew showed up early, worked hard all day, and cleaned up each night. Juan personally came by multiple times each day to check progress and insure the job was moving well. This allowed me to make a couple minor modifications in real time, which he was very gracious about accommodating. I can highly recommend Clover, and will be sure to reach out when I'm ready for phase 2. Thanks Juan!!

I interviewed four landscapers and Noah provided the most credible and down-to-earth assessment of my project. He promised that a team would be on site every day, and my project would never get paused/put on the back burner until it was done, and that is what happened. Every foreman I worked with (Jose, Ernesto, Hector) was great, and fun; I felt well taken care of. The crews were very courteous and left the job site clean each day. There were several change orders along the way when we encountered an issue, or a nice opportunity to improve something. I felt like I got good advice, a few options on what to do, and the communication was very good. The final outcome is fantastic. Everyone who visits the yard is delighted. Now I just need to maintain it; Noah offers ongoing maintenance contracts (which are separate crews from the installers) if desired.
