    Smoke lounge and humidor
    Thomas H.

This place was great. The owner was very helpful. The place was clean and neat and they had a great selection of cigars that I've never smoked before. I got personal help from the owner who even cut my cigar for me. 100% recommend this place.

A fantastic cigar bar with a great and diverse humidor and a fabulous and knowledgeable hostess. Sticks you won't find just anywhere. Wow, and it couldn't be any more convenient - I wish I had known about it before my last day of this past weekend's trip. Next time I'll be spending some quality time there - thanks so much for the tour and the buying advice (I loved the one stick I've had so far), Ms. Mia!

A GREAT downtown experience! 2 story cigar lounge with a bulging humidor, for the size space. Danielle (Danni) provides excellent customer service and pours an tasty Old Fashion. (As pictured) Easy walk from the Doubletree or Courtyard and right across from the baseball stadium. I recommend at least one visit and try it yourself. I will return!

Just east across N. Santa Fe Street from the baseball stadium where the El Paso Chihuahuas play (Southwest University Park) is the little locally owned cigar shop. It is well run with a nice selection of premium sticks. They also offer some drinks as well, adult beverages, so you have to be 21 to enter. The lounge area is stocked with comfortable leather chairs and the ambiance is wonderful with some mellow music playing softly. They do have some reserved parking spots in the back and in the pay lot next door but they are limited. I also visited their shop at the Fort Bliss PX, but no lounge, which is why I found myself here. The service here is first rate as well. I like to find good cigar shops when I travel and this one has been the top of the line in all aspects. When you find yourself in El Paso looking for a first rate cigar lounge, look no further. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

Love love love! You guys, this is such an awesome cigar lounge!! It is the only real indoor cigar lounge in el paso thus far and they are doing amazing at upholding that standard! It seemed daunting at first to even stay inside because of all the smoke and it hits you strong when you first walk in which is to be expected. However, they keep the place vented enough with open windows and what not so after awhile, especially upstairs, it gets easier to breathe, unlike a couple cigar lounges we experienced back in San Antonio. The employees here are super friendly and helpful, especially for someone like me who is all too new at all this. The atmosphere is also very comfty with big leather couches and lazy boys. Their bar mostly serves whiskey, about 60 different bottles or so, with a few selections of wine and beer. The bartender today was excellent and made me my first whiskey sour and manhattan. LOVE LOVE! If you've never had a whiskey sour in your life, DO IT HERE! The prices for them are up there of course, around 10$ or so but thats to be expected. Its a fun place to hang out. My husband and i just smoked a cigar, drank, talked, laughed, and they even had some games you can play. Great old classic songs they play too which just makes it all perfect.

You always have an option of how to spend money, and it's no different with cigar bars. There are lousy ones, and there are great ones. There's not much in between. Vitola's is a great cigar bar. The owner properly introduced himself to me, asked me if I needed any help picking out a cigar, and when I told him that I didn't, he left me alone. I purchased my cigar and he said I could sit downstairs in the lounge that seats about eight people, or I could sit outside on the front patio, or go upstairs where he also had a bar. I opted for upstairs; appropriate music was playing and the chairs were comfy with lots of space to stretch out. The bar had a great selection with probably 100 bottles. And for you ladies, the unisex bathrooms were clean! The owner came upstairs several times to make sure that everybody was doing well and offered to refill any drinks. This is a great, great cigar lounge and I highly recommend it.

Last night was an amazing and successful Drew Estate event!! I had a great time with Fernando, owner of Vitola's in El Paso, Texas and Michelle from DE. They had awesome deals and great prizes. This is what we do, Iconic smokers!!

My husband and I found this gem a few months ago and we LOVE it. The owners are so incredibly helpful and kind. I hight recommend coming here for a chill night with a cigar and drink.

    Ask the Community - Vitola's

Do they allow BYOB(beer or wine bottle) or have a corking fee?

We have a mixed beverage permit with the TABC, which disallows outside alcohol consumption on our premises. We do, however, have a great selection of mostly-craft beers and an extensive selection of whiskey to choose from.

We ordered the Steak Frites, Brussels sprouts, the burger, cocktails, and finished with the peach cobbler and every single thing was amazing. The food, the ambiance, the service, and the hospitality were all top-notch. Our server was wonderful, but what really made the experience stand out was how welcoming everyone was. The owner stopped by our table to say hello and ask how we were enjoying everything, and even brought us some shots. The chef also came out to check on us and make sure we were enjoying our meal. Those little personal touches made the experience feel so special. We were visiting from Colorado, and honestly, this was probably one of the highlights of our trip! There's just something so enjoyable about great food, good conversation, and meeting wonderful locals along the way. I'm not sure when, or if we'll make it back to El Paso, but I would absolutely come back just to eat here again. If you're in the area, you truly can't go wrong with Oak & Antler!

I had a watermelon, mint and tequila cocktail that was as advertised, "summer in a glass!" The comes a braised short rib and Oregon Pinot Noir - both to die for. The puree under the ribs and pumpkin seeds made all the textures and tastes wonderful. (And shame on me. I was so excited by that plate I forgot to take a picture!!) Nooow add in my server, Solomon, and it's nearly a party! But then... here comes the Chef to check on me, and his name?? FREEDOM!! Just soak that in! This is a can't miss spot if you're in El Paso.

If it's not too busy, the staff are usually very personal / happy to talk to you. - Great vibes - my favorite is usually the main tiki room and its booths, but the outside patio can be really nice as well - Food - portion sizes vary a good bit, so I recommend telling the how hungry you are and/or asking about portions. Since I was with folks who grew up in the adjacent neighborhood we all appreciated the house being repurposed with thought and they have done a nice job turning into a quaint bar with a large patio area. Decor/vibe - 5* The overall vibe of this place is great. We visited on a weekend and there was a live jazz band, who were quite good though it is definitely loud inside during that time. If you have an Apple Watch it will complain to you about the dB registering over 85 for sustained periods of time. In this instance it was about 90-100 the entire time we were there. Throughout the inside there are tabletops with seating and standing, the bar is long without overcrowding the seating which is a nice touch for those sitting at the bar vs those simply trying to order a drink at the bar. There is plenty of area to stand or sit out on the patio as well and one can still hear the live band which makes for a great ambiance. I'd recommend the patio area as the vibe out there is great. There is a bar service area outside connected to the interior bar area though it was not actively setup when we visited. Well thought and makes service streamlined without running between patrons. Food & Drink - 4* The drinks we had were good though nothing on the menu is super "craft" cocktail if that's what you're after. The wine and beer selection is decent as well. Service - 5* The bartenders are very attentive and did a great job balancing the number of people without service times being too long. Pricing - 4* Subjective but IMO nothing is over the top and the service was quick. Overall - 4.5* This is a cute and quaint cocktail bar for those who may be in a group or just taking a date after a meal nearby. I'd recommend visiting and we will all certainly be back!
