I paid the $49 and didn't receive any services. they wanted me to make a second appointment and come back but no appointments available within two weeks and they seem to want to sell me me on a wellness plan even though nothing has been done or discussed. They draw you in with promises and provide no services. Very poor service. I received one call hours after I left the review where they left a message. This was probably the worst chiropractor experience I have ever had! I have been to chiropractors all of my life, and have had some truly exceptional doctors. I am new to the area and looking for my next doc. Sadly, this is the type of visit that gives chiropractors a bad reputation as quacks. Based on the reviews, I was hoping for a good experience, but I left feeling extremely scammed! I told them on the phone and when I arrived that I was in LOTS of pain and really needed some help ASAP! I was expecting to get some relief that day as is normal with chiropractors, physical therapy at least! They kept talking to me in these PollyAnna Sunshine phrases, telling me how much they were going to help me, but then I sat there VERY uncomfortably for well over an hour enduring a very lengthy "exam" process. This consisted of 30 minutes with the assistant answering a bunch of contrived, idiotic questions like "what would a day look like for you if you weren't in pain?" "What would you most enjoy doing if you weren't in pain?" "What type of pain goals would you like to set?" I thought it was dumb and a complete waste of time, not to mention annoying since I WAS in quite a bit of pain and was not comfortable sitting. I kept telling her this, but she just persisted with her "goal setting". Just seemed dumb to "set goals" when the dr. hadn't even assessed me yet. So the doc comes in, assures me of how much he is going to help me, asks me more questions and then asks me to flip over on my stomach while he does a spinal exam. This, also, is not comfortable as he was just pointing out all of the spots where I needed adjusted and poking me but not doing anything to actually help me. Also, the whole time, he was dictating to the assistant like I was a piece of meat and not even in the room. It was extremely de-humanizing and rude. He then assured me that XRays WERE in fact absolutely necessary, despite what he had told me before. I generally try to avoid XRays but he said in my case he absolutely needed to in order to "make sure my treatment was perfect and tailored to my needs." So, like a complete fool, I consented and allowed them to take a half dozen scans, another lengthy process, and I am still sitting there in pain. After all of this, I was hoping for at least some physical therapy, as is totally customary in normal chiropractors' offices. Most chiropractors have all sorts of physical therapy machines and any one of them would have helped. Dr. Rob said no, he couldn't allow me to do that until he looked at my XRays... but assured me he would call me the next day and go over my customized treatment plan. Well the next day he called me, told me that based on my XRays, I had "extensive damage" and was not a good candidate for treatment, and that it would take "4 months MINIMUM" before I could even begin to hope to see any kind of improvement. ?? WHAT ?? I am just a middle aged woman with no injuries or accidents, isn't he a chiropractor? He only sees people with no spinal issues? Absolutely befuddling to the max. I have been to MANY chiropractors in the past, have had Xrays before, not one has ever given me such a bizarro diagnosis. Even the bad ones have still helped me in some way! Not just exposed me to unnecessary Xrays and then told me essentially to take a hike. I was so mad that I trusted him with his "perfect treatment plan" BS and consented to XRays! The next day I went to another chiropractor who got me some physical therapy and helped me immediately! Problem solved! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this unethical quack! read more

They genuinely care about you, your life and your health. I started chiropractic care with multiple issues. I got sick 4-5 times every winter and when I got sick I was in a bed for a week recovering. On top of that, I sang on stage weekly at my church and was having anxiety and breathing issues. Regular chiropractic care has essentially made these issues all go away. I go there for weekly maintenance visits, during which I always have some sort of misalignment due to sleeping or other random causes. Smoke and Mirrors...... and Money I went to Vitality Chiropractic based on proximity and coverage from my insurance provider after I had relocated to a new home. I called first to verify the insurance coverage. They started with a thorough exam, all except for not respecting social distancing, and then gave me a prognosis and an initial three month plan (and a likely 18 month total plan). Since I was familiar with chiropractic I asked a number of questions. One was about the effect of aging on spine and neck (since I am in my 70s); I got a flip answer that offered no insights. Next, I asked about alternate plans; I got a "this is the only way we will work with you" response. Next, I asked about billing my insurance company; I was told Vitality really didn't do that (despite what they had earlier told me), but they would give me a terrific deal with a pre-paid plan that more or less matched what my insurance would cover. The 'deal' worked out to be quite a bit more expensive than my insurance coverage and quite a bit more than other chiropractic offices in the area. On top of this I was told that if I followed the (only) three month initial plan my job was to report the miracles that would occur as a result of their treatment (the smoke and mirrors part). I went ahead with the first month of the plan. Here is what I observed in that month. They had a general disregard for Coronavirus recommendations and in fact, state requirements. Despite all the hype at first, the adjustments were basically the same as other chiropractors perform. This caused me to question the impending 'miracles' since the treatments were no different than I had previously received. And finally I asked once again if I could go to a pay-as-you-go plan and was told they wouldn't do that, it was their pre-paid extended period plan or nothing. I left. I now use another qualified and reputable chiropractic office that is every bit as good, and considerably less expensive. read more

Pros: * Alli, the receptionist, is very sweet and knowledgable * The place smells good * Dr Rob did not injure me & he seems legit. Has the credentials. Cons: * Upon arrival, you will sit with half a dozen other people and awkwardly perform warm up exercises in sync with a video. You will wave your arms around and look like a weirdo * No privacy. There is not even a full wall between you and the half dozen other people as you have your joints snapped around several feet away. You might, in fact, have someone laying on another table 4 feet away from you waiting for their turn. * Lack of follow-through. Scans/measurements of progress were supposed to occur approx every 16 visits I believe. I had to inquire about these on my own to make them happen. I had to also inquire as to when we could go over results as opposed to it being offered. * Lack of social skills. You will generally be here for about 10 minutes for an adjustment. Five of those are spent warming up like a weirdo. During the other five, you will be asked leading questions ("You felt that, right?!"), the reasons behind the adjustments will probably not be explained to you, and Dr Rob will speak to you the exact way he speaks to every single other client. ("Power's back on!" .... Cool catch phrase..?) Maybe its a male-female communication thing. I also don't appreciate being asked how I intend to pay for the adjustments while I am face-down having my spine mashed. Could you not at least wait until I'm sitting up? * Uses jargon. You will hear him say things like, "Okay, little pop at C2." And that's as far as the explanation goes. Good thing I took several anatomy classes and actually know what he's talking about? But does he actually explain what an adjustment at said vertebrae will do for me? No. * I originally came to Vitality due to severe jaw pain. Dr Rob implied that he would provide me with jaw exercises as my treatment progressed. This did not happen. After we were about halfway through the 12 week plan, he basically stopped talking about my jaw altogether. He seems to be following his own agenda, rather than paying attention to what I came for in the first place. * Does not keep track of where you are in the treatment program. Every few weeks, my number of prescribed weekly visits was scheduled to decrease. I had to keep track of this myself. I was not being updated or reminded regarding my progress. At the end of my last visit according to our 12-week plan, Dr Rob simply said, "See you next week!" Uhm, no you won't. He clearly had no clue. Also, about 6 weeks in, I was asked to fill out a testimonial that contained many leading, vague questions such as, "Do you agree with the statement, 'I have a better flow of energy after starting chiropractic?'" First of all, weird. Second of all, if chiropractic care is supposed to be such a long-term thing in order to experience really noticeable results, why am I being asked to fill this out after 6 weeks? I think it's evident that many of my issues with this place could have been mitigated with better communication. But when you are just cranking out client after client, with people sometimes literally waiting in line on the opposite side of the wall, the environment doesn't really facilitate asking in-depth questions about the treatment you are receiving. At a literal $50+ a pop, for a ten minute visit, this does not seem like a good value. I do not understand why Vitality was so highly recommended to me. Also, he dressed up as Trump for Halloween. There are no words to express the extent of my gratitude for Dr. Rob. About 8 months ago, I walked in very broken. Physically and otherwise. I had been working on the mental and emotional life stuff, but the physical was still a barrier I couldn't break through. I actually had not realized the extent of the physical pain I was in every day, I just thought what I was feeling was normal. Dr. Rob is a coach at heart and with his guidance I picked up a few habits to help get me back on track. Since I've been seeing Dr. Rob, daily night sweats are non existent, I think I've had two migraines (usual 1x-2x/month), my uneven hips are even more than their not, I've had decreased brain fog, and I'm getting way more exercise than I used to (and have more motivation and energy to do so). I'm in tune with my posture and balance more than I've ever been before. I know of some folks (including myself) that have had less than stellar experiences with a chiropractor in the past. I can't envision a time that I would ever stop coming in to see Dr. Rob and his great team - Jennifer & Athena - for a weekly adjustment. If you haven't stopped in to get your "power turned on" yet, I'm not sure what your waiting for. read more

I had a groupon for a while for a 1-hour massage. After 3 months of trying to book it, and forgetting, I fonally got in! My massage therapsit was Vanessa. She is very caring and super relatable. We had great conversation, but she also was quiet enough to let me relax. I HATE blabbering during a massage for too long. She is awesome! I found the chiropractor evaluation to be a great deal. It was only $57.00 and I was informed that I had phase one degeneration in my neck and bone spurs. I would have never known about this unless I had the evaluation that included xrays. After a couple adjustments my neck is feeling much better. I have been coming to Dr. Rob for 2 years. A minor case of whiplash brought me in, but x rays showed that I had been living with disc deterioration and I had a very abnormal and unhealthy curve of the neck. No wonder I was having dizziness, and I always thought it was stress! In the last year alone, Dr. Rob was able to correct my curve another 20%. My massage therapist was Michael, he touched my butt albeit briefly,rubbed my ears but stopped when I asked him to stop,and scratched my neck when I told him that it felt good where he was rubbing my neck,so he started using the tips of his fingers which at the time wasn't what I wanted but I let him do it my neck was hurt that night from his nails. He did rub a painful scar on my back which I thought was odd,and he asked too many questions. The massage was forgettable, and left me feeling worse than when I went in. Absolutely fantastic! I went in for my groupon appointment. It's was for a Caribbean massage. The groupon stated coconut oil. When I got there I told them I had a wheat allergy and can't have oils or lotions with it. They checked and sure enough the oil had wheat germ. They offered to go to the store and get pure coconut oil for me. I felt bad but they insisted. My therapist was fantastic and very accommodating. The way groupon works is that the business makes 50% of what you pay. So my $23 massage made them $11.50. That's way far exceeding my expectations. The fact that they probably spent $15 on coconut oil for a massage they made $11.50 on is a 5 star customer service rating in my book. My only concern was that this was my first time in the office and people were randomly coming in working on stretching machines. I would've liked to know what was going on and what the place was all about since it's a chiropractic clinic. Keep up the good work though! read more

Vitality Chiropractic was not 100% honest with their billing practices. They told me that my insurance does not cover their service, until I meet my $3,000 deductible, but this is only partly true. The reason that I needed to pay such a high out-of-pocket cost is because they are an out-of-network provider, which they did not tell me, until I asked them specifically, "Are you in-network or out-of-network for my plan?" Then after telling me that they have never been in-network for my plan, the chiropractor tried to tell me that, even if I went to an in-network chiropractor, I would still have to pay my $3,000 deductible, which is an out right lie. read more
