I had a great experience here, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I came back a few times and had good experiences each time.

Since I posted my original review, the business owner has reported my review to yelp and emailed me and requested that I remove some information. Names that I used were already publicly available on the business website and in previous reviews and information I learned during an appointment was so generalized, there should be no issue there. I observe a lot going to a place as long as I did and there is a lot already posted on the internet similar to my experience. Whatever...I have revised and reposted my original review to reflect the owners wishes. I stand by the rating based on my experience, and will not be returning. This review is meant to make customers aware of some of the things that I have experienced so they can decide whether on not they want to do be a customer or not. I went to vitality for a few years. Unfortunately, Vitality has a lot of employee turnover and so I saw quite a few providers. Eventually, I started seeing Dr. Williams (the owner). Dr. Williams had a reputation as a top chiropractor but after a few appointments, I was a little disappointed in my experience with him. There are some negative reviews on Yelp from 8-10 years ago that accurately reflect the experience with him and I don't know why recent reviews are positive becuase nothing has changed. Given the owner's request of me to take down my negative review, and the positive review that was posted immediately after my original review, I strongly doubt the credibility of the postive reviews here. I am sure he has gone after other negative reviews the same way he has gone after me, which is probably why there are so few recent negative reviews. I could not describe my expereince with him any better than some of those old reviews, and I wish I had read those reviews prior to seeing him. He was often aloof, distracted and disheveled in his appearance. He complains a lot about his life. He gave a good adjustment, but it was always generic, rather than my targeting problem areas. I would have switched to the other chiropractor, but I did not have much faith that she would stick around given the trend. I am definitely not the only customer that has noticed the red flags and the decline in the experience. When I first started going to Vitality, you could barely find time on Dr. William's schedule (or any provider's schedule for that matter), which is why I initially saw the other chiropractor. Now, you can probably just walk in and be seen with no wait - that should give you pause before coming here. About a year ago, I first considered finding one of my former chiropractors as the appointments with Dr. Williams were becoming increasingly cringy, but Vitality requires you to see their chiropractor to use insurance for massage (which makes it even crazier to realize how many chiropractic appointment slots are available) and I was still getting great massages at Vitality even if it was not with my original provider. Otherwise I definitely would have left sooner. About a year ago, I was optimistic that things might improve, but long term, things only got worse. The mood of the office declined every time I came in, and employees looked more depressed and more burned out and it really made me wonder what was going on. I get people can have bad days at work, but this was clearly a trend and seemed to follow the declining trend of my chirpractor experiene. read more

This review is long overdue. I have been coming to vitality chiropractic center for over 3 years now and Dr. Ian Williams and his team are excellent. They always provide the best care and service. Cassie is an amazing acupuncturist, very knowledgeable and has helped me in my treatment of chronic back pain. She also does cupping which brings a lot of relief to my back tightness. Dr.Amos is a skilled chiropractor and I'm also giving high reviews for the massage therapists there. Dayna, Shay, Antonio and Coleman give great massages and I'm lucky to be able to go to one location to be treated. Check in is easy and they are quick and efficient. After experiencing a flare up of an old back injury, I looked around for a highly rated massage therapy location with same day availability! Vitality was my first call after hearing so many positive thing, and the receptionist was SO friendly and got me in that afternoon! I've had 2 massages with Cynthia and she's done great. Really deep massages and able to break up all the knots. The front desk receptionist was also friendly in person, making me feel very welcome. They have a pretty high tech set up with patient forms available online, and iPads to check in for your appointment, sign paperwork and rate your symptoms. I'm so thankful I've found Vitality! Bonus is that it's also walking distance from my house, but they have ample free parking in the lot. It's located at the base of Wolverine Way bear Bellevue High School. I've been using Vitality Chiropractic for my musculoskeletal care since moving here in 2016. Whether for adjustments, massages, and acupuncture or the necessary tools to keep my body running, every aspect is taken into consideration for getting you back to your functional self. The team of doctors and massage therapists are there for you and take the time to address all your concerns. Scheduling is easy and the availability of appointments is great, despite COVID-19 restrictions limiting number of patients per day. They take great care in cleaning all spaces and every team member is wearing a mask, some double. Hand sanitizer is available in almost every room. I haven't had any issues getting adjusted while wearing a 2-layer mask with carbon filter. I highly recommend Dr. Williams and team at Vitality for chiropractic treatment. I would highly recommend Vitality Chiropractic to everyone! Two huge reasons: Dr. Ian Williams and Shay Simon! I always land on Dr. Willams table with injuries from running...all self-inflicted. I've seen Dr. Williams for almost 10 years and every time I see him, he fixes my injury. He's knowledgeable, gives straight talk and is very pleasant to be around. I would advise that seeing him more often is a healthier choice, then blazing in like I do, when things are belly up! Shay Simon aka Healing Hands (literally) has a magic touch. I am not fond of massages, especially when I must have one. Shay is amazing, she explains every muscle she's working on and discovers all the knots and cobwebs that need to be removed! Absolutely LOVE this place. I have been going to Dr Williams for my "tuneups" for over 7 years. The chiropractic and massage services offered here literally saved me. I was in a bad accident and was in constant pain until I came to Vitality. I did a regimen of massage and chiro work and felt brand new! Then I began working with little kids (Pre K Teacher) I kept hurting my back (tiny furniture, sitting on the floor, bending, holding the littles). Anytime I'd feel a little off I'd visit Dr Williams and he'd adjust me and I'd feel great. He even gave me some recommendations to stretch and strengthen. Even though my back is much much better I still visit at least once a month. I moved to Seattle in 2016 and have been in West Seattle since 2018 but I still make the drive to Bellevue because they're seriously that good. First time patient. I'd like to make a counter reply to the one negative review. I had a case of a pinched nerve in my back. I was in extreme pain. I could not stand upright without intense stabbing pain from my lower back. The front staff was very friendly. Dr. Ebbin adjusted me and I did feel better. Just from experience, I know these kind of problems take time to fix. They recommended a massage. It was not pushed. I did try it and I felt it did make it easier for my follow up adjustment. After a few treatments, I feel 100% better. Each time I was treated a felt a little better than the last. With pinched nerves or pain problems it is a gradual recovery. I'm glad I found Vitality and highly recommend them. read more

Great massage therapists here, and they are almost all in network with Regence Blue Shield, which is getting harder and harder to find. I have used several of the LMTs and they are all great. I have chronic neck and back problems and have been to countless chiropractors and Dr Job is by FAR the best I've been to. Most places give you a few quick cracks and you're out the door. Dr Job takes the time to actually figure out what's wrong and doesn't rush your time together - it's more like physical therapy as he's also given me stretches & exercises (plus personal trainer style advice for lifting weights properly). Dr. Ian Williams has been fantastic to work with when I had severe lower back pain due to earlier injury that healed wrong. Ian was able to find a way to fix the issue after many visits of troubleshooting, it was a stubborn issue but it has now been fixed and had no issues since. Recently I was in a car accident where I was rear ended and had severe neck and shoulder pain. Dr. Ian went to work and got me back to 100%. I called the front desk to book the massage. I was confirmed with a massage on Wednesday 12pm. I canceled the other appointment this week, moved my work schedule, sacrificed lunch time to accommodate this appointment. I drove all the way and arrived at the office, and was told the appointment wasn't booked and there is nothing they can do. If I had a late cancellation I would be charged, but there is nothing if they cancel on me. So be careful wasting your time, better double check before you head to the appointment. read more

So I may need to update this review as time goes on but here's the scoop! After two back surgeries on my low back in 2007, my back flared up again after doing some personal training. The pain was so severe I could barely walk and was popping pain meds (Tylenol, etc.) endlessly as well as icing it without much relief. I phoned on a Saturday after reading these reviews, and surprisingly, I received a call back--not only from one of the Massage Therapists who happened to be working that day, but also from the Chiropractor, Dr. Ebbin! He told me he would come in the next day (Sunday) since he had to chart notes anyhow and to meet me there in the early afternoon. I was so grateful! Having grown up in a family of medical doctors, I've always been a little weary of Chiropractors, but have seen them occasionally for treatment when nothing else seems to help. After one session, I had a little relief, and after the 2nd session, my pain level reduced significantly, and my mobility increased! I saw Dr. Ebbin and Dr. Williams 5 days in a row, went away for the Holiday weekend and finally noticed that my pain level actually reduced to a level 1-2! I'm extremely happy with this practice and cannot recommend them highly enough. The entire staff are great including Vixai, the Massage Therapist I saw one day, and the front desk gals! Everyone is super helpful and friendly, putting you at ease. Dr. Williams was also able to help me with the pain in my thumbs, which has also reduced significantly! Yay! I didn't realize that tinnitus (ringing in the ears) could be helped through Chiropractic care, and they're also working on that with me. It's not gone, but the buzzing noise has softened a bit. I'm feeling hopeful that my back pain issue is permanently on the road to recovery, as I was facing fusion surgery, and I'm trying like crazy to avoid that. I had been suffering from chronic debilitating migraines for several months before enough was enough. So I called to see if I could get an appointment to help alleviate my pain. Not only was the appointment same-day, but due to the severity and nature of my issue they got me in that hour! When I walked in, they were so quick to help me find comfort as soon as possible. I saw Dr. Williams within minutes of walking in. After the new patient intake exam he got me right to the table for an adjustment. He was not worried about spending an hour with me to help find relief for the intense pain I was experiencing. Dr. Williams is, hands down, one of the best chiros I've seen...he's good people. I've been going here for years. Don't know why I haven't provided a review. I've seen a few a Chiropractors over the years and Dr. Ebbin has been one of my favorites who I've seen for the last few years. All the staff is friend and I find myself usually sparking a conversation with them. Dr Ebbin listens to his patients and ensure they leave feeling better. He also provides awesome hand massages when you manage to somehow lock your muscles or to clear your sinus when under the weather. They also have massage staff on site and are all very talented. I have been going to vitality chiropractic office on n off for over 10yrs now! It's a great place, there kind caring and understanding and are there to help you feel better! They have helped me tremendously over the years! I was born with a birth defect, and from time to time I get extreme pain, but since going to them, I no longer deal with as much pain, as I use too! I know people with disabilities tend to stay from chiropractic cause there scared of the unknown, they made me feel safe n secure from day one they asked about my disability and what it affects, and they make every effort to make me feel as comfortable as possible! This is the best chiropractor office I've ever been to. Dr Ebbin is so thoughtful, knowledgeable and in my opinion, miracle worker. I went in to see him after a work trip were I suffered from chronic neck pain and very painful migraine. Within visits he and Charles my massage therapist alleviated my pain. The office staff and organic environment is as equally delightful. A very non-clinical setting. The massage rooms are nestled in a wooded area and very enjoyable. Went to Dr. Ebbin today for the first time. I am from California and woke up in extreme back pain...the doctor was gracious to get me in today. By far the best experience I have ever had with a Chiropractor. They use wonderful technology to quickly show you what is happening with your back. Mine was pretty whacked, so before adjusting me he put me on a machine to work my back a little, then Dr. Ebbin completed my visit with a traditional adjustment with an added technique yanking my legs to get all the kinks out!
