After suffering for a week and a half on antibiotics for an eye infection that was not getting better, my wife went to see Dr. Dan. I first started going to Dr. Dan Tennenbaum a couple years ago when my allergies were completely wearing me down and I had reached my wit's end. I had tried everything...except acupuncture. After going to Dr. Dan for only a couple weeks, my allergies completely went away and I have not had one trace of them again. Then, a few months later, I was in a bad bike accident and messed up my knee. I called Dr. Dan. He said, "Be here in half an hour. I'll fix it." Really? Going into acupuncture for the first time, I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr Dan seemed to know his stuff, but I stopped going for fear of malpractice. I don't give reviews often, but my experience there was alarming so I thought I would share. On one visit, the Dr. accidentally sent me into the wrong room, a dark room which was already occupied by another patient, mostly undressed lying on the table undergoing acupuncture treatment. The Dr. realized his mistake and sent me into another room. Hopefully the other patient didn't notice the stranger that walked in, but that is a extreme violation of privacy. I would've taken serious action if that had been me on the table. What I found most disturbing though was that when Dr. Dan would remove the needles from the treatment areas, he didn't clean the blood off with gauze or a sterile pad, he would give it a quick little smear on my skin with his bare finger!!!! Contact with bodily fluids for one is a big no no, but blood especially is something you don't ever touch with your bare hands. Who knows if he has sterilized his hands since treating other patients??? Just something to be aware of. read more

I am a believer !!!! I have neck and back problems that flair up at least once per year resulting from a car accident and neck fusion.
