Green Juice

Second time here. This place is delicious but the portions are ridiculously small for the price plus no ice. This was $8.49.

The fruit was old. The açaí base was just ok. I wouldn't come back. For a "fresh" food place the fruit just wasn't fresh.

I normally go with the huevos rancheros or chilaquiles, while my wife has been loving the wedding prawns for years. Honestly, no matter what you order, you're going to get something amazing. The mimosas are fantastic, and the El Pueblo coffee drink is an absolute must-try. But what really makes this place special is the family that owns and runs it. They're as welcoming and genuine as it gets, and you always feel like you're coming back to a place where you're known and appreciated. The atmosphere is relaxing and interior is warm and well thought out.

If I'm paying $8.21 for an iced coffee, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect someone to simply tell me when my order is ready. I was sitting near the barista and could see a coffee sitting on the counter, but I assumed it belonged to someone else. Not once did she say, "Your coffee is ready," call out the order, or make any effort to let me know it was mine. Meanwhile, my $8 coffee just sat there. For the prices being charged, customer service should be much better. A simple acknowledgment would have completely changed the experience. Instead, I left frustrated and disappointed. Customer service was lousy, and unfortunately that overshadowed the coffee itself.
