Pre-wedding: We actually found Seth from another friend's wedding during which we did not leave the dance floor once!! Seth was so nice and receptive to our ideas when we first met online. He was punctual and answered all of our questions. After we reserved our date, we utilized a platform to input any music preferences or specific songs we wanted. It was easy to use and well organized. Additionally, my husband and I, as well as my dad and I, wanted specific cuts made to our dance songs and Seth provided those promptly so we were able to practice sooner! He was communicative when we made changes and always supportive of what we envisioned for our wedding. Ceremony and cocktail hour: SEAMLESS. The ceremony cues were perfect (considering we had a lot of our own chaos with some guests and our very very young flower girl and ring bearer). Everyone could hear using the microphone he provided us and our officiant, and we had almost 20 rows of people. Reception: the music was amazing! He knew I loved Taylor swift and played a good amount. I was very pleasantly surprised! He knew how to read the crowd and how to build momentum leading to our open dancing. Once the open dancing started, it did not stop. I was very sad when I had to leave the dance floor intermittently for drinks/additional pictures. My husband and I had an amazing time, as did our guests. We would 100% recommend Seth and his group to any of our friends or family having weddings or other events. Fantastic experience with the Vital Group! I attended a wedding they DJ'd /operated a photo booth and it was so good that I had to reach out to the bride to have them at my own wedding. Seth is incredibly professional and made the entire process super easy. Unfortunately I had to move my wedding date and ended up not having the DJ service but we kept the uplighting & photo booth portion which ended up being a big hit with our guests. Seth was our MC/DJ/Lighting/Photo booth for our wedding in August and it was such a delight to work with him. From the very beginning of wedding planning, he was super organized and set our expectations for what we would need to do to get our music for the day together. His team uses a web-based tool / app to organize music and timeline, which he walked us through and is super user friendly and very straightforward. This app is also where you would input your selection for lighting, photo booth frames, and other very customizable selections for all things MC/DJ/lighting/photo booth. The few months leading up to the wedding, we had another meeting where he helped us get a sense for what the day might look like and what music we would be brainstorming and selecting for our processional, recessional, grand entrance, and other crucial music selections. I distinctly remember this meeting being super helpful for planning the overall timeline of the wedding and helped to take off so much stress by giving us a sense of direction for what we needed to do. He was very detail-oriented to the second with when to start a piece of music, and we went through all the important pieces to make sure they were the correct tracks. He also coordinated with our wedding planner and officiant incredibly smoothly in order to make sure everything went well. The day of the wedding, he selected great music which matched our vibes for dinner and also dancing! We had the best time on the dance floor and he really matched the energy of our crowd. Can I give more than 5 stars?! Seth, by far, was the best decision we made with our wedding planning. We were really picky about our DJ/Emcee. My husband and I love to dance and having the perfect atmosphere accompanied by music was of utmost importance. Seth exceeded all of our expectations. We met twice over zoom one at the beginning when booked and one a couple weeks before the wedding, which was much needed. He is flexible and organized. He demonstrated clearly how to navigate and use the app to personalize our experience. I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. A wedding is a grueling process and I remember at the end of the night my husband and I found ourselves kind of sad looking at Seth. It was like we were breaking up with him, he was our first vendor and to contact each other for almost a year and a half it was a sad moment. For me as a bride he was like my best friend I vent to and basically took my coordinator role. He calmed me when this went south (postponement of the wedding and my original coordinator dropped out a month left of the wedding) and for my husband... he vibes with Seth through Seth's music. Words cannot begin to describe how impressed and happy we were with Seth's DJ skills!!! We knew he would do great, but the team blew it out of the water! Seth's app is super handy for planning the exact songs you want at truly every moment of the night. We used a different song for each person/group who walked down the aisle, which we thought would maybe be a bit complicated, but Seth knew exactly what to do and timed them all perfectly. We also wanted a song to play right as we kissed at the end of the ceremony and Seth knew exactly when to start playing it -- it was perfect!
