My husband and I are so happy we found Matt for our wedding!! He was everything we wanted in a DJ and more! He's super responsive, professional, kind and easygoing. DJs can really make or break the reception and Matt was always on point! Numerous people came up to us saying how great our DJ was! His thorough collaboration with us made sure nothing was missed and he made sure we felt heard with all our ideas. We would recommend him in a heartbeat! read more

Last weekend was the third wedding that I went to with Matt as the DJ. Two were my daughters and one was my niece. Each time, Matt has done a superb job. A DJ can make or break a party! Each time, Matt has made the party even better than I thought it would be. He is really good at doing the music you want. I also like that while he plays it wonderfully, it also does not over power the party. Guests can enjoy themselves talking while the music is on. And he isn't annoying about making everyone feel like they have to dance. He' s also a really nice guy. Great to work with. Very responsive. Any future party I have, Matt will be my guy. I highly recommend. read more

Hiring Matt to DJ my wedding was one of the best decisions I ever made. Not only is he very easy to work with, he is also very skilled in his craft. Everyone at my wedding was beyond impressed and had nothing but positive things to say. We have used Matt Graumann to DJ our annual awards ceremonies for more than a decade. He isn't just great... he's exceptional! He has an insanely accurate sense for exactly the right song/music at the right time and is an excellent MC as well. Another reviewer said "He was professional, upbeat, friendly, punctual, and a great person." and that is no exaggeration. Typically every year from the experience at our event, he'll be asked to DJ several additional outside events being hosted by our individual participants (weddings, birthday bashes, etc.). Matt has become of treasured member of our "family"... he's the best!! read more

Matt was the DJ for our wedding on Sept 2018 in Malibu, CA. He was professional, upbeat, friendly, punctual, and a great person. From the very beginning, he was so kind to meet with my wife and I to get to know each other. He took down notes constantly and made sure to remember our story. Every meeting he was dressed professionally and spoke eloquently. On the wedding day, he went above-and-beyond to help make this day go as smooth as possible. There was an issue with setting up the tables for dinner, and Matt stepped in to help (which we never expected or asked him to do). He has a charming voice on the mic and kept the party live. If you are looking for a DJ who looks and speaks professionally, who knows how to have fun, and who truly cares about your happiness, do not hesitate to reach out to Matthew Graumann. read more

5 stars! Matt was such an integral part of making our wedding so amazing. He is SUCH a pleasure to work with and was so thoughtful in checking in with us every step of the way during our wedding planning process. He has great suggestions for music selections and is such a professional. I could not have asked for someone better to lead the charge for our ceremony and reception and would absolutely recommend him to anyone! Thank you again, you made our night so perfect!! read more

Matt did a wonderful job DJing my recent wedding! My wife and I were looking to have a relatively low key reception and were not even sure that we wanted a DJ, but after some prodding from family and then actually meeting Matt, we were convinced. He was very friendly, organized, a good listener, and well-prepared. He was more than a DJ- virtually MCing the wedding and providing a flow to the whole reception, including music, games, speeches, and all. He tailored the event to our needs and offered plenty of useful suggestions based on his years of experience. He lived up to his motto of being "classy yet fun" by accommodating our musical tastes and filling in the gaps with appropriate choices of his own. Lastly, I had the misfortune of getting food poisoning at our reception. Let it suffice to say that I spent almost as much time on the bathroom floor as I did on the dance floor. Matt somehow found time to check in on me repeatedly and bring me things to soothe my stomach. He kept the guests busy until I was able to get out there again. Very much appreciated! If you want a really fun, trustworthy, stand-up guy to be your DJ, Matt is is your man! read more

Our Wedding Coordinator HIGHLY recommended Matt to DJ our wedding and boy are we glad he did! Especially during times of Covid when we had to postpone our wedding 2x, Matt always kept in touch and made sure we knew he was with us every step of the way. When we FINALLY had our special day in Oct 2021, Matt showed us why he came highly recommended. He had our entire wedding on their feet in no time, took requests, had fantastic suggestions, understood our style and also had a great guide he requested we fill out so there were absolutely no questions along the way the day of the wedding. He does this special thing called a "Love Story" which I would HIGHLY recommend. It added a personal touch to both my husband and I and allowed our guests some insight as to how we got to the alter which was truly one of the most special moments of our wedding. We also had a number of older guests and one of my special requests to Matt leading up to the wedding was to make sure people had fun, but also make sure the music wasn't so loud where people couldn't have conversations at their table in the same room. My father also has a tendency to sing if given the mic, so Matt was kind enough to make sure that didn't happen. Everyone is RAVING about our wedding saying it was one of the best weddings they had ever been too and we have Matt to thank for everyone's amazing experience. Don't think about it, just book him! read more

Matt was the DJ/MC for two weddings I attended -- my friend's where I was a bridesmaid and my own. As a bridesmaid, I was impressed by his level of cool. I remembered how he strung together the events seamlessly. His style is classy and understated (never did he drawn too much attention to himself). So, when it was time for my wedding, it was just a matter of my fiance meeting him. After our consultation, it was an easy decision. Throughout the planning process, he was responsive -- sometimes within minutes -- early in the morning and late at night. Matt met with us to go over the program of the day and exchanged numerous e-mails to revise the program. He even came to our venue site meeting so that he got a sense of the schematics of the place. Planning, at times, was overwhelming, but we now appreciate the amount of time Matt put into organizing the entertainment of our day. Matt is truly a client-centered DJ. He did everything in his power to make our day wonderful. He got along with all our vendors and went beyond the call of duty (helping me carry in my dress and finding some fruit for one of guests' daughters). A number of our guests were impressed with his professional, positive demeanor and evident love of his job. They caught him be bopping along to the songs. The DJ could be an afterthought or not a priority when planning a wedding, but the DJ is such a critical part of the day. With Matt, you can trust that all will go smoothly so that you can fully enjoy your wedding day. read more

Matt was our DJ for our wedding last October, and he did a great job to make our wedding special and unique to us as a couple! He met with us via email, phone and in person to go over what we were looking for in terms of ceremony and reception music, our likes and dislikes, thoughts we had for dance music, etc. Matt was so attentive to detail- nothing was missed! Our guests enjoyed his upbeat personality and how he made the entire event interactive. We appreciated how he was professional, engaging and easy going, and he really made our wedding day a day we will never forget. I highly recommend Matt to anyone looking for a DJ for their event! read more

Matt brought our wedding night all together so well! He is a great person and really takes an interest in your wedding and you as a couple. Look no further!! Im a wedding photographer and have heard them all. Matt is the one stop shop of djs. He has a captivating way of hosting and guiding the flow of the event. But also dialing you in with some stylish sounds to get your granny out of her chair. We seriously love working with Matt and refer people his way when couples need a dj. If he's available, I'd get suggest locking him in as he tends to book up fast. read more

I absolutely loved working with Matt Graumann. He was one of our first and favorite decisions in wedding planning, and I am so glad we chose him! Matt is extremely professional, responsive, and reliable. He almost always responded to my emails or calls immediately, and was always very open to how we wanted our wedding and reception to run. He provided the sound for our wedding ceremony, the music for our cocktail reception, and he was the Master of Ceremonies for our wedding reception. He is SO MUCH FUN and CHARISMATIC, yet entirely respectful and appropriate. (There were a couple of DJs that we talked to that seemed like they just wanted to run our reception like a Vegas nightclub, with high-energy clubbing music most of the time, and unintelligible screaming in the microphone to get the crowd riled up. That is not the type of reception we wanted, as we were going for elegant, down-to-earth, and fun!) Matt really gets the crowd up and dancing and makes announcements exactly the way you ask him to. From the moment I first spoke to Matt, he quickly gained my trust. He quickly understood my taste in music, and proactively prepared a run-of-show itinerary of the event that he went over with us. With his very fun and professional demeanor, he MC'd our wedding perfectly. I have full confidence in Matt running a great event, and I would hire him without hesitation for any future events! read more

Matt Graumann was so much more than a DJ. He coordinated and played all the music for the ceremony and he acted as our MC for the reception. He had us write out our love story, (how we met, fell in love, and how I was proposed to) and combined the 2 sides and read it before our first dance. It was a great touch and he delivered it so well. He kept the music flowing so there was never a quite or awkward moment. He was FANTASTIC! He took our music lists and made such a great mixture of fast and slow songs and just helped keep the party going. I can't say enough great things about our experience with Matt. He always returned my e-mails within a day and we had an initial meeting and a planning meeting for all the music selections and he also came to the rehearsal to get a sense of the day. He came on time and made sure he had extra set up help for the quick turn around between the ceremony and the reception which was about an hour. We felt totally comfortable in his hands. Highly recommend!!! **We were married in October 2009 read more

Matt is amazing! My sister lives out of state but her wedding was here in town, so I got to meet with Matt prior to "check him out" to see what I thought. Well from the second I met him, I knew he was the one to Dj at her wedding. His vibe is great, he is professional but on a really friendly level that makes you feel like you've known him for years! He listens to what you are looking for and if you're not sure then he can help you with ideas and suggestions that are perfect. Once I told my sister we had to use Matt, it was confirmed and Matt checked in regularly up until the wedding day with timelines of wedding day, what was expected of him and what he expected from us. He made us feel like his top priority even though he was working with other clients. The wedding was this past weekend (3/31/18) and he was absolutely amazing! (Had to say it again) He kept the flow of the wedding going without being pushy, he played great music that had so many people dancing and just having a great time! Even our dog out there on the dance floor! Lol He reached out to my sister and her now husband to write out their love story, then told the stories during the reception and it was such a great unique touch for all of our family and friends to hear! I would recommend Matt to anybody looking for a Dj for their next event! Thank you so much Matt for making Jamie and Jim's day that much better!! read more

Our wedding was wonderful and the music was perfect thanks to Matt. Everyone had a great time (young and old). His timing couldn't be better. We loved working with him and he really listens when you tell him the kind of music you like/dislike. We had so many compliments about how smoothly it went and we highly recommend him. Thank you Matt! read more

Matt is so much more than a DJ/Master of Ceremonies. From the moment my husband and I met him, we knew we had chosen THE BEST for our wedding. His professionalism and attention to detail is outstanding. He took in everything we asked for and added in his own flare to make absolute perfection from our ceremony to our reception. Throughout the entire planning process, Matt was awesome, responsive, and organized beyond belief. Our friends and family are big on dancing and having a good time and there was not a single dull moment in our reception. Matt kept the party going until the very last dance. We are still getting compliments about song choice and presentation and how much fun everyone had. We had the time of our lives and it felt as if we knew Matt for years. If your looking for a DJ for your wedding look no further!! I booked Matt almost a year before my wedding (3-24-12) and all through out the year he stayed in contact with me via e-mail. That made me feel so good. He's not just a guy that plays great music but he kept the wedding flowing from ceremony to the last dance. Which we were having so much fun dancing that we ended up adding an hour to the end of the night which Matt had no problem doing so. What is also great about Matt is that he really tries to get to know you as a couple and makes it very personable. With him I felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing. He truly mad our wedding rock!! I would recommend him to everyone!! I couldn't thank him enough!!! read more
