Last weekend was the third wedding that I went to with Matt as the DJ. Two were my daughters and one was my niece. Each time, Matt has done a superb job. A DJ can make or break a party! Each time, Matt has made the party even better than I thought it would be. He is really good at doing the music you want. Matt did a wonderful job DJing my recent wedding! My wife and I were looking to have a relatively low key reception and were not even sure that we wanted a DJ, but after some prodding from family and then actually meeting Matt, we were convinced. He was very friendly, organized, a good listener, and well-prepared. He was more than a DJ- virtually MCing the wedding and providing a flow to the whole reception, including music, games, speeches, and all. He tailored the event to our needs and offered plenty of useful suggestions based on his years of experience. He lived up to his motto of being "classy yet fun" by accommodating our musical tastes and filling in the gaps with appropriate choices of his own. Especially during times of Covid when we had to postpone our wedding 2x, Matt always kept in touch and made sure we knew he was with us every step of the way. When we FINALLY had our special day in Oct 2021, Matt showed us why he came highly recommended. He had our entire wedding on their feet in no time, took requests, had fantastic suggestions, understood our style and also had a great guide he requested we fill out so there were absolutely no questions along the way the day of the wedding. Matt was the DJ/MC for two weddings I attended -- my friend's where I was a bridesmaid and my own. As a bridesmaid, I was impressed by his level of cool. I remembered how he strung together the events seamlessly. His style is classy and understated (never did he drawn too much attention to himself). So, when it was time for my wedding, it was just a matter of my fiance meeting him. After our consultation, it was an easy decision. Throughout the planning process, he was responsive -- sometimes within minutes -- early in the morning and late at night. Matt met with us to go over the program of the day and exchanged numerous e-mails to revise the program. He even came to our venue site meeting so that he got a sense of the schematics of the place. Planning, at times, was overwhelming, but we now appreciate the amount of time Matt put into organizing the entertainment of our day. Matt is truly a client-centered DJ. He did everything in his power to make our day wonderful. He got along with all our vendors and went beyond the call of duty (helping me carry in my dress and finding some fruit for one of guests' daughters). I absolutely loved working with Matt Graumann. He was one of our first and favorite decisions in wedding planning, and I am so glad we chose him! Matt Graumann was so much more than a DJ. He coordinated and played all the music for the ceremony and he acted as our MC for the reception. He had us write out our love story, (how we met, fell in love, and how I was proposed to) and combined the 2 sides and read it before our first dance. It was a great touch and he delivered it so well. He kept the music flowing so there was never a quite or awkward moment. He was FANTASTIC! He took our music lists and made such a great mixture of fast and slow songs and just helped keep the party going. I can't say enough great things about our experience with Matt. He always returned my e-mails within a day and we had an initial meeting and a planning meeting for all the music selections and he also came to the rehearsal to get a sense of the day. Well from the second I met him, I knew he was the one to Dj at her wedding. His vibe is great, he is professional but on a really friendly level that makes you feel like you've known him for years!
