Oooh... Parking spaces! Ironically, it's closed...
Kai L.

Thirsty? Tucked away on a quiet corner of Vista Street, off Slutty Maniac Boulevard in West Hollywood, lies a sleepy little liquor store that you might miss if you blink, or are already loaded. Vista is fast, easy, and stuck in the 1970s in terms of fashion, which could describe a lot of people, only this time the subject matter is a convenience store. -- And convenient, it is! Everything you need for that ritzy date you've got lined up: cigarettes, cigars, condoms, candy, random groceries (including cereal for breakfast tomorrow), magazines (both porn and porn-NOT-graphy), lottery tickets, soda, air freshener for your car -- you'll find it at Vista. CLASSY! The only thing that's somewhat inconvenient -- well, actually, two things -- about Vista is that it closes at 10pm on weekdays, and 9pm on weekends, which basically means you won't be making your late night lush runs here. Also, the parking lot is really small, so if other trollops... Er... upstanding young people like yourself have the same ideas at the same time, you'll be fighting for the two or three available parking spots on the awkward tarmac. -- Just park on the street, or across the lane at that massage parlor no one goes to. You'll be fine (until you get a ticket). Prices and quality of service? It's a liquor store. You get what you get. Which includes getting carded. Take it as a compliment, dear.

I wandered around the aisles looking for this drink and they didn't carry it according to one of the employees. Since I didn't have too many choices I ended up with a sugary Beat Box drink.

Dishonest employee. Today Oct 10, 2026, just after 12 noon I purchased 2 lottery advance plays (one…read morefor Super Lotto and another Powerball). The employee switched out my Powerball for a cashed in older Mega ticket clearly marked by the machine. The Lotto machine is partially hidden from view thus making sleight of hand rather easy. (I would have returned to the store and demanded my ticket but I live some distance and am only in the neighborhood periodically. I feel confident this wasn't an honest mistake but a well rehearsed scam, because I wasn't cashing in any tickets, so he had to be saving the older, crinkled, Mega ticket for this purpose of switching it for a still plausibly winning ticket rather than a clear loser, plus that Mega ticket was carefully placed between my lotto advance play cards with the less expensive Super Lotto ticket facing outwards and finally he gave me change all in ones, so I was distracted by counting out the nine one dollar bills in change. I of course will never patronize this store again, but customers should not only count their change carefully but also examine their Lotto purchases very carefully.

We originally came to Something About Her because we're huge fans of Ariana and Katie from…read moreVanderpump Rules, but honestly, the food completely blew us away! We ordered The Cam and The Nancy, added avocado to the Nancy, and split both sandwiches so we could try each one. The Cam was a hoagie roll stuffed with turkey, salami, provolone, slivered red onion, and crunchy lettuce dressed with mayo, olive oil, and red wine vinegar, dusted with Italian herbs, and served with their homemade Italian dressing. SO GOOD. And the Nancy had crispy bacon, heirloom tomato, mayo, fresh lettuce, and was served on artisan sourdough with our avocado addition. Every ingredient tasted so fresh and full of flavor. My husband literally kept saying, "Oh my God, this is so good," after basically every bite. The restaurant itself is small, cute, clean, and super trendy, with great music playing. We felt so comfortable hanging out there that I honestly didn't want to leave. I wish we lived in LA because I would 100% be getting these sandwiches delivered or catered on a regular basis. We came for the VPR connection, but we left as genuinely impressed customers. Such a fun spot and seriously incredible sandwiches!

Even better, the menu clearly labels allergens and makes it easy to customize your order to fit your dietary needs. I ordered the Viola on gluten-free bread with no cheese, and it definitely hit the spot! The sriracha aioli had the perfect level of kick just enough to add some flavor. Paired with the crisp cucumbers, it was the perfect combination and made every bite so refreshing. It's always exciting to find a spot where ordering with dietary restrictions feels simple instead of stressful. Definitely a place I'd come back to!
