There is an outside ordering window which wasn't open when I visited. There's seating inside and out. The inside can get a bit crowded depending on how long the line is. I came for the Brown Butter Chocolate Chunk Toffee Cookie and was not disappointed. It has a a great texture where it's crunchy on the edges and chewy in the middle. I've been wanting to pay a visit to Seabrook for a very long time. I eventually managed to do that this summer and did all sorts of check in's to the point Yelp made me cool it as I was doing them too rapidly. Vista Bakeshop was one of those places that Steve and I went into. I wanted to get a hot drink and went with a London Fog. I do like this kind of drink on occasion and especially as the weather gets cooler. This one was a bit disappointing however. It didn't have that frothiness that I usually get with this tea drink and the flavor came across as bland. I got a lemon cookie that they had with their baked goods. This wasn't too terribly bad but sometimes it had an odd flavor at the forefront of each bite. I am not sure what that was but it wasn't very good. Some bites tasted just fine however. Atmosphere is cute here as well as the location. It's nestled right in the "downtown " area and I use quotes as this place is an unincorporated area and primarily most of the buildings here that may appear as residences are vacation rentals or second homes. Very few people are permanent residents here. But like all of Seabrook it's nice, clean and quaint this bakeshop I just wish I liked my drink and cookie a bit more. read more

No changing table in the bathrooms. They are inexpensive to buy/install (under $100 on Amazon!) and would positively impact the client base - families visiting Seabrook. She didn't notice until she got back to the house. I thought it was just a coffee house because when you walk in, you can't see the baked goods until you go to the counter. The only coffee shop open early (before 10am) for coffee and breakfast in Seabrook WA. You order at their order window and they will call your name at the pick up window and you can take them to go or go inside and get yourself a table to sit down. Note it is all self service inside with a water station, cute decor, local goods, and some games too. They had limited breakfast options but plenty of pastries and apparently known for the cruffin (croissant in the shape of a muffin - which my toddler daughter thoroughly enjoyed and reluctantly shared with me) My breakfast sandwich was filling and my husband really enjoyed his everything but bagel baguette sandwich. Vista Bakeshop was so great we had breakfast here every day while we were staying near there. You need to get there early, the lines can be long and they do run out of some of the best items. We had out dog with us so we could not see the interior, but it looked very nice and comfortable. You queue up outside to order. They have many items you can look at in the window, but they have other items on the menu. As far as the drinks, I rotated between the chai latte and the London Fog. The London fog was interesting with Earl Gray tea and vanilla syrup. My wife had the Americano and loved that also. Then I usually had a savory and sweet dish for breakfast. The sandwiches were all good, but think I liked the regular breakfast sandwich the most with really good bacon and bread. I absolutely loved the sweet choices which rotated. The croissants are outstanding--I think the best was an almond (on the one day I could get it). The blueberry muffin was insanely good also. Absolutely worth a visit. read more

Came to Vista on a Sunday before hitting the road, and while I expected a line, I didn't expect to be in line for nearly an hour. I'm not sure what the holdup was, but the 'order here' window operation was so slow. By the time we got our food (jalapeño scone, cruffin, and lox baguette), we were ravenous. I keep coming back for the chocolate & toffee brown butter cookie. The cookie is thin, crispy, yet soft/ chewy in the middle. Due to the brown butter, the sides get thin and crispy. It's so good. I've tried lemon crinkle cookie, it had a great texture to it and has a light lemon flavor. At $3 a cookie. I noticed when I order the chocolate/toffee cookie, they would give 2. Probably cos its thinner compared to the other cookies. You order at the window for some baked goods or coffee to start or end your day. Loved this coffee shop/bakery we stumbled upon on our way up to Olympic National park. Super cute decor, friendly staff, quick service (even while busy). While the homemade bread was tasty, it was a bit hard and a little challenging to eat, which was the only downfall for me. None were overly sweet, and the puff pastry-style dough was always crispy and flakey (in a good way!). I also got chai tea lattes daily, and they were on point. They don't sweeten them by default, and it allows the natural flavors to shine through. Overall, a great little spot for breakfast treats with friendly, helpful staff. If I had one piece of feedback, it would be for them to get a toaster oven or some way to heat up the pastries; they taste great as-is, but warmed up they would be elevated to the next level. For all the overpriced comments: you're in a planned beach town where everything is expensive and marked up (rentals, food, shops, etc). It's that way at all of these developments. They make the quintessential croissant that's both crispy and soft, with a gazillion layers of buttery goodness. There are tasty variations, like the cruffin, the chocolate croissant, and the savory ham and cheese croissant. My personal favorite is the date and candied bacon croissant. This little place is a gem of Seabrook. It's really the only gem, since there's no other place to get coffee and pastries so early in the morning. Absolutely, loved this place! First off their baker has skills. The sourdough baguette was perfect, twice baked almond croissant incredibly yummy and the winner was definitely the chocolate toffee cookie (a dream!).
