The toast on the plates were hard yet not overly toasted. The gravy and the potatoes were the best part of all 3 meals. Let me say, the omelet was smaller than the toast in comparison. The waitress abandoned ship and slid off the radar... we had to ask another matey to refill the coffee and he did so very promptly! He was the better part of the experience. As I continued ordering more donuts, her attitude seemed to improve, but the interaction still didn't feel genuinely friendly. What really crossed the line was what happened after I paid. She commented that I didn't leave a tip, which I found to be extremely unprofessional and inappropriate. Tips are optional, and customers should never be made to feel uncomfortable or called out for not leaving one. The donuts were delicious, but the employee's attitude and inappropriate comment completely overshadowed the experience. Because of the poor customer service, I will not be returning.

Atmosphere is cute here as well as the location. It's nestled right in the "downtown " area and I use quotes as this place is an unincorporated area and primarily most of the buildings here that may appear as residences are vacation rentals or second homes. I was never really greeted or acknowledged when I came inside even though there were multiple employees, so I can't really speak too positively about the customer service but to be fair, I also never sought anyone out for assistance. Despite that, I did enjoy looking around the shop. I felt like they had a huge range of interesting items and I definitely could have browsed even longer than I did. This was an interesting stop and you could find some great gifts here for sure, even just for yourself. It was definitely worth making a detour for and I would love to come back in the future and sample more of the spirits and some of the food.
