In other words the person was double paid, and/or the company took from her hours for themselves. The caretaker's English was horrible, and I had to frequently ask her to repeat herself. If you need someone to help you after a health issue hits, do not call this company. One night the person brought in a horrible home cooked meal, with her 10 year old daughter attached. I did NOT know the kid was going to show up, with a "chocolate sandwich." Chocolate is FATAL TO DOGS. Also, while they were in the kitchen, they were speaking Mexican. Immediately, I said, "ONLY ENGLISH IN MY HOME!!!" I thought the company might send back the portion I paid to this "caretaker" (amounts were given), when I paid their bill. Nope. They cashed the check, with no refunds being received. Truly thieves.

My Mom had reached her final years of living on her own with resistance to moving out of her home. The time arrived when she could no longer live independently and through an amazing home placement specialist, Louie Caraig, I found Infinite Love Residence 2 an absolutely stunning residential property, immaculate and well-appointed in the upscale neighborhood of Amalfi Hills, Yorba Linda. My Mom resided under the best care possible in loving hands, safely with Infinite Love Home Care owned by Gina (Giannina) and Jed Adolfo (Mom called him JP). Gina, a registered nurse, and her husband are a wonderful couple, honest and caring who treat all clients as their own family. They strive to give the best in everything. Mom had her own beautiful comfortable room, gifted caregivers 24-7, access to in-home coordinated medical appointments, med management, healthy personalized meals of choice, daily activities, music, aromatherapy, and gentle hygienic personal care. Mom needed special attention with meals and other needs which Infinite Love's Home Care staff enthusiastically provided at all hours. Holidays were blessed with catered meals, festive decor, music, celebration, and warmth. Infinite Love's Home Care management, caregivers, and support team are highly skilled and treat all clients with dignity and compassion. I was always contacted when questions arose, or my Mom needed anything. It was wonderful to partner with the care team and I was always treated kindly and respectfully as my Mother was. My Mom thrived at Infinite Love Residence 2 for nearly 3 years. I was able to visit at any time or call and speak with her. I had the freedom to be present and available for my Mom even though we were living in separate residences. During my Mom's final days I was welcomed to stay by her side and helped care for her day and night. Gina, Jed, and the Infinite Love Home Care staff are rare and unique. I found no other board and care facilities that came close or matched anything comparable to the quality and optimal care offered to the clients and client's families at Infinite Love Home Care Residences. The owners and caregivers are like family to me and I am forever grateful that my Mom was so well cared for and loved as she was at Infinite Love Residence 2. I had continual peace of mind. I will never forget Gina and Jed, Jeffrey, Grace, Dondie, Candice, and Alma. They were the Angels who assured my Mom lived her best life possible until her final breath and made certain I would have treasured memories of my time with my Mother in her final years. I thank you with my heart and soul, you have all been an ultimate blessing in our family's lives. With deepest gratitude.

In the beginning, we have tried numerous caregivers. We started with 24/7 then cut back to only 12 hours once my husband was feeling better. Then back again for 24/7 as my husband's condition got worst. Some caregivers were very awesome and caring but some are bad such as sleeping on their job, showing up late, or just doesn't do anything unless you tell them to. We were fortunately to encounter some great ones who took great care of my husband until his final days. There are few things you need to be aware of: 1) Make sure you keep track the dates and times that the caregiver is present for your loved ones. I had a few days when there was no caregiver and still get charged for it. Or, I get charged double for the same shift. 2) Don't depend fully on the caregiver. They are like us, they might call in sick or have car problems. Make sure you have a back up plan and be ready to take the shift yourself. We had a hard time especially around holidays, when no caregiver would take the shift or cancel on us at the last minute. 3) Make sure your care plan is very clear as there's a potential someone new caring for your loved one everyday. 4) They are non-medical caregiver, so make sure you plan out the pills in an organizer so they can dispense and just let your loved one take the med. Overall despite some hiccups, some of the caregivers took great care of my husband until his final days and we are very grateful to them. It's a tough job mentally and emotionally. I applaud their bravery for taking such hard job.

Sarah Underwood brought her warm smile, calming disposition, and expertise to me and my family during an uncertain time. Sarah explained the process, offered a "what we could expect," and answered a plethora of questions regarding caregiving. My family was not 100% sure of the direction we were going to take with my mom since moving to a different state was also an option. Sarah did not pressure us and gave us the time we needed to make the best decision for my mom.. and dad, who at 90 wanted to still take care of everything on his own. As it happened, my mom ended up being admitted to the hospital and then transferred to a rehab center. When Sarah found out where, she paid a visit to my mom in the facility, held her hand and had a good talk. She completely didn't have to, but did anyway. FYI.. I have a picture of their two beautiful smiles! And if that wasn't enough, I was having a tough time getting in touch with a representative at the facility (since I live out of state) Sarah came to the rescue. She got a hold of someone to reach out to me. Sarah Underwood is wonderful- inside and out and a beautiful representation of the company's standard of care. Families first, and it shows!

After being texted, "I'm creating the care plan now and we will keep you posted," I didn't hear from them for three days. Then, while I'm beginning my day of caregiving for my loved one the doorbell rings and, SURPRISE!, their caregiver arrived without any announcement or warning. I was completely shocked and when the caregiver (who was nice) called the office who talked me into letting her stay. Of course, instead of the respite I wanted, now I had to deal with an upset loved one and an unplanned arrival. This actually made this one of the worst days I've had in a long time because I had no idea anyone would show up. I should have sent her away but I was too flummoxed to think straight. Anyway, Chamberlin did make sure to charge my credit card for this unwanted, unrequested visit. I canceled the contract and highly recommend against dealing with this company. In fact, now I'm kind of afraid to even ask for help again knowing that the first time I turned out to be quite a hindrance rather than assistance. ADDENDUM: After this review was posted I was contacted by the owner of the company who wanted me to remove this review. He offered a refund if I would take it down. I felt that to be an ethics violation and refused. He did seem sincere in wanting to make things right although the damage was done. I've re-read my original review and still vouch to its accuracy and honesty. I just learned a refund was issued without preconditions. My experience was still horrid but it's possible it was a learning experience for the company. (I personally learned nothing that will help my situation.) Anyway, I'm changing the rating from to two stars instead of one in with the hope this will not happen to someone else.

Freda worked with our schedule and asked a lot of questions, so she understood what kind of care we needed. She helped with shower activities, laundry, preparing lunch, and general conversation and walking activities. Phoebe was always on time and helped us during a crucial period of recovery. My mom the client is a bit picky w/ caretakers so it's hard for Freda but she does her best to keep all 7 days of the week covered. I talked to my mom and our favorite caretakers are Stacey, Cynthia, and Lisa. Stacey and Cynthia mainly work during the week to keep coverage from what I can see. I hear them speak to my mom when I'm in the hallway and they're very nice and sweet. I'll be honest it's nice to hear my mom have small talk with people other than my brother and I. I believe these two Stacey and Cynthia are the only ones currently giving her a bed bath. If we didn't have them during the week we'd be in bad shape. They've also helped w/ my mom when a physical therapist is here w/ the hoyer to lift her up to do things so they are trained. Lisa, mainly comes in on the weekends unless she has time to fill in during the week. She's a very sweet lady whose very nice and appreciative of whatever we do for her. She's communicative and gives her advice on my mom's care. Again, we've been using this agency for over 1.5 years and I see no reason why we wouldn't keep using them. Give them a try especially if you're in the Yorba Linda area since they're located here.
