I seriously wouldn't recommend any other company but hers. The girls did some medical care, bathing, cooking, cleaning etc with no hesitation. Have been taking care of my Mother who has Alzheimer's for 6-years and now needed additional help…read moreso I could run errands and find some time for myself. I signed a contract for Griswold to come from 1:00-5:00pm Monday -Friday to take care of my Mother. They did not fulfill their agreed upon contract as on Friday: * The Caregiver left my Mother alone and went home without calling Griswold to get a back-up person, or let me know she needed to leave early to ensure someone would be there. * Never changed her Depends during the 4-hours she was supposed to take care of her. * Never fixed her tea or give her cookies that I had requested. * Left her bed rail on the floor that must always be secured when my Mother is in bed. When I returned home 2-minutes before the Caregiver's shift was to end my Mom was trying to get out of bed and had her legs almost off the bed without anyone here. Had my Mom gotten out of bed while the Caregiver left her all alone she could have fallen and broke her hip etc. as she always needs someone assisting her with her walker or wheelchair since she is a fall risk. This is "Elder Abuse" and we would be suing Griswold had she had an accident due to the incompetence of the Caregiver. We have cancelled our contract with Griswold and will never use them again due to this shocking experience. Recommendation: Should you choose to use Griswold, be sure to do unscheduled visits to check on your loved one so this type of nightmare never happens to you.

I was told if the scheduled caregiver can't be there a replacement would be sent..twice this week…read moreno one showed up. I contacted the answering service. I got no call back. Looking at back invoices I was overcharged 12 hours one day. 15 hours another day and on the holiday at $52.50 an hour the caregiver was a half hour late, I was still charged for the scheduled shift. The caregivers come in late everyday when they do come in. I do not recommend this company to anyone. STAY FAR AWAY FROM SILVER LINING

Upon contacting Summit Home Care we received a call within 48 hrs with a visit that week (on a Sunday!). Jenn her in home therapist was outstanding. With her guidance and care my mother was walking the first week and just continued to gain strength. Jenn was professional, yet delightful to be with. She was exceptional in her care of mom and encouraging her. She taught us so much for her to regain strength and prevent future fall. Highly recommend their services.
