We are closing at 5:00 today." I explained that my son needed a new prescription. The associate responded, "We can try to help, but we are closing at 5:00 p.m. We weren't going to open today because of the watermain break, but we did and closing early". I explained that the website said the store was open today despite the watermain break and no indication of early closure. The associate said she could try to help, but again, "We are closing at 5pm". When she asked about insurance information, I shared I would need to locate my card. She replied that I could look for the insurance card, but that they were closing at 5:00." I had also hoped to look at glasses since the posted hours and website indicated the store would remain open until 7:00 p.m., but instead I left abruptly due to the poor customer service and repeated comments about the store closing early. I felt as though I was inconveniencing the associate simply by coming in during the posted business hours. I was also told to come back tomorrow, which is not possible for me. After my appointment, it took almost 8 full weeks to receive my glasses, and I only ever got an update if I incessantly called. I was told over and over once I finally got my glasses how they would "take care of me". First it was a free pair of sunglasses already being worked on, then it became "the next time you come in" (you know, because we all go to the optometrist fourteen times a year). I'd finally decided they just weren't for me and called to get my prescription. Stephanie told me on the phone she could email it over. Guess what, she still didn't 24 hours later. Absolute worst experience ever and I will not be returning, even for the "free pair" of sunglasses I probably wouldn't ever see.
