I visited this Visionworks location for the first time to get an annual vision exam, as I wear both contacts and glasses. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this store location is very clean, well kept, and bright. Everything seemed brand new! I was greeted promptly by the front desk staff. Unfortunately, my online paperwork didn't seem to pull through, so I had to repeat my paperwork in the office. That seems to be a kink they are working out. Almost immediately after they did a few tests using fancy machines, the eye doctor came and grabbed me for my appointment. Literally no waiting! He did a very thorough exam, and I felt very heard and listened to. I have dry eyes, and he worked with me to find some new contacts that would be a better fit for me. I was sent home with two different types of contacts to try so that we would be able to order the best contacts for me. I appreciated this gesture-- he was not quick to "sell me" on anything, but instead, wanted me to get the best fit and feel for me first. Once my exam was done, I went out to pick out glasses. Jo, one of the front staff members, helped me pick out two pairs of glasses. She was great! She listened to what I was looking for (colored frames, plastic frames, on a budget) and pulled a number of things to try. I never felt pressured to try the more expensive frames, and I never felt like they were "hovering" over me. It was a great experience, and I picked out two frames. One pair was ready to pick up within two business days, which was so quick! Overall I would recommend this location. I had a great experience here! Bonus- this store location is in Hamilton Town Center, so while you wait for your glasses to be made, a family member to get their eyes checked, or what not, you can shop or grab a bite to eat at one of the other stores around the mall! This is about Visionworks Carmel, IN. They remade my glasses EIGHT times this year. I couldn't see out of any of them! They finally told me not to come back! Funny that I can see fine with the glasses they made me the last 3 years. They did give me a refund and told me not to come back. lol read more

Visited the Visionworks in Noblesville today for my eye exam. They are well prepared and using precautions for the safety and well-being of their staff and customers. They wear gloves, each time someone tries on a pair of glasses they ask that you set them on the counter so they can disinfect each one. They wear masks and require their customers to do the same. They schedule a few people at a time to decrease the risk of having a crowd. The optometrist is awesome! She explained everything to me as she examined my eyes. When it was time to choose glasses Karen helped my daughter and I. She was helpful, professional and full of knowledge. She helped me find the best offer that would save me more money. Very professional office with fast and friendly service. Was told over the phone about how long my appointment would last from start to finish, and was finished in that exact time. They helped me pick out some really cute frames, and assured I received the best deal. Definitely would recommend this location over some of the others in the area. read more

I went to Vision works on Noblesville Hamilton town center on 9/30/2022 to get my annual eye exam and I decided to get an exam for contacts lenses so after the exam they give me some try on contact lenses that didn't work on my eyes so they said that they will order some try on with my prescription so I can try them on before I placed an order After two weeks I went back and they didn't have any notes on file about me. So the associate that help me said that she'll order some contacts for me to try on after almost two months I went back and again they didn't have anything for me , The associate this time after looking everywhere went inside the Doctors office an give a pair to try on so it took 10 weeks to get some results. I will give this office a 0 about costumers service . And a 0 on communications among the staff. the reason I went to this office is because I really like the Doctor on my 2021 eye exam and the whole staff was great but this year was a whole different experience and I may not go back to this location. I have been a long time customer at the Hamilton Town Center location. The reason? That's pretty self explanatory. When I walk in they greet me warmly. That's just the beginning. I walk up to the counter and it's " welcome to Visionworks how may I assist you"? I had an appointment that day. Without hesitation a staff member takes me back for some tests. It's always a little nerve racking coming here due to the fact that I hate having air blown into my eye. But, they made me comfortable. These guys are thorough. The tech had a little trouble with one of tests. She wouldn't give up till she fixed it. The doctor was next. She was friendly plus I found out we had a mutual love for dogs. When my exam was completed, I went out to the lobby to try on glasses. That's when I ran into Logan again. He was very patient with me. I pick my glasses out and left the building. Several days later, I received a call from Visionworks. My glasses had came in but, they were not happy with the results. The tech said it would be a few days to get my glasses back. When I went back in to pick up my glasses, Logan greeted me with a friendly smile. He asked me what my last name was and I told him. Now mind you it had been 14 days since I've last seen Logan. He looked at me and said James is that you? Just great customer service by Logan. He fitted me with my glasses. Again Logan was patient making sure I got everything I needed. they need a pat on the back. So here I am. When people do outstanding things, it shows they care. I called around to several shops in the area before finally deciding to come here. The staff was very friendly on the phone and they had a great special going at the time. I was greeted when I first got there and was able to quickly pick out some frames. The doctor explained everything very well and got in and out in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for new glasses, contacts, or just an eye exam. I will return here for all of my eye care needs. read more

Beware!! They are very nice & helpful while you're spending money but as soon as any problems arise, you are left hanging. They messed up my lenses and needed to remake them.....nearly 3 weeks later and I am still without my remade glasses. And no one can offer any help or timeline as to when I might get them. Unacceptable way to do business. Will not be back nor recommend. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. However I must start by saying the front office reps are pretty good but Dr. Helen Calvin's service has guaranteed that I will never visit this site again. My first visit was pleasant, or so I thought. I went in for an glasses and contact exam which were routine besides the fact that she talked about her two boys the entire time but that was no big deal. I told her and the front office several times the kind of contacts that I've worn for the past 13 yrs which I had no desire to change. So, to my surprise a week later when I go to order contacts from a third party it was rejected because she had written my prescription for the contacts that she kept recommending during my visit that were $30.00 more, which I declined several times. I had to go back into the office and wait for over 30 mins just to have a new contact prescription written, which should have been done the first time. Then when I expressed my dissatisfaction Dr. Calvin's reply was "sorry you feel that way." She alone is the reason for this negative review. read more

I would give ZERO stars if possible. First and last visit at same time. I figured it would only get worse if the check in process for a new customer was such a pain when it should be so simple. Don't waste your time following their email instructions after you set an appointment to "fill out our forms online and save time when you arrive" because they make you fill out paperwork with the same info that I completed via their online forms. This added time to the process instead of saving time. Store employees were like, "aw shucks not sure why but you still have to fill out the paperwork" read more
