Was accused of scratching my new glasses because I did not see the scratch till I got home. Lenses would not be refunded or exchanged. ALSO their lenses are disgustingly poorly polished, with shards of glass just hanging off the rim. Mexico does a way better job at glasses. This place used to be great! The doctor is fine and thorough. I've heard bad things prior, but personally didn't experience it until today. I've been going here for the past 10 years and didn't have a problem until now . The workers (two ladies) that worked up from this summer (2017) absolutely are terrible and disrespectful. Today, the ladies didn't m even acknowledge the customer (not just me) or their needs. They were very disorganized and cluttered, charged me(I've never been charged by them before.. and I didn't do anything different this time around) without telling me what the charge was for. When I went back to ask a question, the ladies practically yelled at me in front of other customers and didn't let me speak or ask questions. Honestly, for a returning customer of 10 years, I wanted to at least be respected. But now , my family and o are not returning. read more

really dissatisfied with the service I received. I gave my prescription from the optometrist on the weekend after July 4, After multiple follow -up calls, nearly 5-6x until 2 wks after my 1st visit, my order was just placed 2 days ago, nearly 1 month later. The employees move around too many times, it's really difficult to do follow-up calls on your order. In addtion, I'm not happy with the price they quoted for my lenses alone, about $ 400. My husband got his eye exam, contacts, new glasses from elsewhere and paid only less thann $200 ! The employee, Georgia, tried to help me as best as she could knowing I was so frustrated, but VisionWorks system really doesn't work in providing good customer service. when i walk in the door and ask if the young lady can she fix my glasses i was told it would take an hour. literally just her and i in the store yet it will take an hour. no exaggeration just her and i in the store yet i have to leave them. i can not see without my glasses it's literally dangerous to everyone if i drive without them. Next question, where they bought with us? answer: no. Response ok, i have to warn you if i break them more trying to fix them we are not liable. WOW!! ok so i'm asking you to rehook the wire that holds the lense in but if you break them more than just fixing the wire and putting the lense back in not your fault. hhhmmm explains why this store only has a 1.5 star. serious lack of customer service or wanting to do anything. because fixing a wire and placing the lense back in takes an hour. I created a Yelp just to leave this review. I called 2x to set up an appointment and both times was put on hold then disconnected. I even went as far as scheduling online but I was left with "We can't schedule you online. Please call our office" so i DID. I called a third time and AGAIN put on hold and disconnected. I am giving the team at Visionworks a 5. The customer service was outstanding and so friendly and helpful. I have been a customer there since it was Eyemasters and have never had a problem with the staff or glasses. I would like to give Melba De La Garza, Frank Hernandez and the general manager Juan Garza a 5 and 100% rating! The staff has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They were very rude and unprofessional. I've been with Dr.Antoni over 10 yrs but apparently that doesn't mean anything to them. I was treated very rudely by the doctor's assistant. I went in as a walk in and understood it would be a while, but the doctor hadn't even showed up when the doors opened at ten. At ten fifteen I asked when the doctor would be in and was told in 20 minutes. WOW, you open at 10 but the doc doesn't come in til 1030? Fine, so I'm there for an hour and one walk in goes in and comes out. Ten minutes go by and another walk in that came after me goes in. I ask the assistant how much longer I have to wait and she's says maybe an hour or more! I expressed some dissatisfaction with this response and she told me I was "Just a walk in" in a VERY condescending tone. I will NEVER go back to Vision Works optometry and discourage other people from going there. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I would give 0 stars if i could. I sat for an hour waiting. The eye doctor could have moved us along had he shut up and just did his job. He spent way too much time small talking with his clients. I was literally ready to walk out when he came in the room to do my exam. My concern, being in healthcare, was why would he want people to like him so much? Is he that bad? read more

I wanna say I had a great experience with the help of two (2) fine ladies that walked me through the process of making a choice in eyeglass selection. After my optometrist retired, I was looking for a new provider and came in for a routine eye exam and an updated contact prescription. I've done this before every year, and it's always $35 for the exam and $35 for a contact lens fitting. This time, at Precision Eye Care, after the exam, they showed me the bill and it included a materials cost. I asked about this, and they said it was for contacts. I said "No thanks" and explained that I just wanted to pay my co-pays for the exam and lens fitting and shop around for contacts. They said that I could do that, but then they would charge an additional amount (something over $100), because they said that the insurance company would not cover all of the fees they typically charge. They also said that, if I didn't buy my contacts from them and the insurance company didn't cover the full amount they charged, then I would be responsible for the difference and would not receive my contact prescription until I paid that difference. (That, by the way, is not allowed under the FTC's Contact Lens Rule. Providers are required to give you your contact lens prescription after your fitting. I had indicated that the trial contacts were working well and they were attempting to bill me for an order of contacts, meaning that they also were indicating the completion of a fitting). I called the insurance company, and a representative from the insurance company explained to them (while I was still in the lobby) that it is a violation of their contract with them to charge a patient more than the $35 co-pay for a contact lens fitting. They noted that Precision Eye Care could not hold onto my prescription to extract additional money beyond the co-pay. After going back and forth for a bit, the front office staff went to talk with the optometrist who told them to just charge me the $35 for the glasses prescription and to withhold the contact prescription and drop me as a patient, because they had no obligation to serve me. In a petty final blow, they also had me remove the trial contacts and put my original contacts back in before leaving. (Of course, they could not reuse trial contacts that had been in my eyes. They were simply doing this out of spite, because they didn't like the fact that I confronted them regarding how they were violating the terms of their agreement with my insurance company and breaking FTC rules. It seems that they have done this routinely in the past to other people and gotten away with it.) I let the insurance company know about all of this, and the representative said that they would put Precision Eye Care through a re-education process regarding the rules. Please don't make the same mistake I did in coming here. read more
