I was a little apprehensive at first. Keep in mind this is my first time ever needing glasses. Even though I put it off for many years. I knew this day was coming. June 24, 2019 was the day. I was very nervous when I drove up. Sat in the car for a few minuets to gather my thoughts. Then went into the store, and was greeted with a wonderful "hello, welcome to Visionworks. How can we help you today. That made me feel so comfortable. Mylia worked up to me, introduced herself. She guided me through the whole experience of picking the right from for me, and explaining to me how the no line bifocals work. Mylia is a wonderful Optician. Her and another Optician made my experience very comfortable. I too, was an Optician, about twenty so odd years ago. So I basically knew the routine. But things changed over time. So it was refreshing to know that Mylia was willing to guide me and answer any questions that I had. This experience was awesome. I'm looking forward to picking up my glasses. Thank you Visionworks, and thanks to you Mylia. I probably would have looked around and left the store and put it off another year. But know, I'm excited to see things in a new light. This was a first time visit as my daughter needed new glasses. Coleen and Peter were very friendly and professional but they made things uncomplicated and the ease of looking around. The store was very clean and everything was labeled and easy to understand. It was a really great atmosphere. We were actually there for a quite a while but the service and staff were so great that it seemed like we weren't there long at all. Coleen was great, she had a smile and personality that lit up the whole store. She was very quick to greet us and she was very polite when taking our info. She handed us off to Peter to find frames that my daughter liked. Peter was awesome and his personality must make every ones' day better or great. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the frames and services and was able to suggest the best options. He was a pleasure to deal with and will always look forward to dealing with him again. We came back around to Coleen and she was absolutely amazing with the purchasing process and made sure that we understood what we were paying for. I was in last week to purchase glasses and I has the associate Mylia assist me. She has a very pleasant personality, and was extremely helpful in the process of selecting a pair. I was pleased with the choices and suggestions she made to help with my selection. I would like to mention, her coworkers, seemed to not value her. The drum on the printer went out, and one lady proceed to tease Mylia and say she broke it. Mylia continued trying to locate the drum to finish my transaction. The entire process made me feel uncomfortable, and I felt they were giving her a hard time because she was the only black employee in the office at the time. I'm a black female myself, and I would like to shop at a place were everyone is treated equal and fair. Had a great experience getting my glasses here! After visiting two other places I won't name, I received superior customer service AND a great price! I was lucky to hit a 60% off sale (who does that for glasses?) and Brain Agner, the person who helped me was outstanding! I walk with a cane and have a hard time standing for long. Brian was nice enough to shop for me. He brought me six frames and I liked ALL of them! It would have taken me hours to find that many frames that suited me well! Then he and a couple of other representative helped me to make the final decision(s); I'm one of those that can't without my glasses well enough to choose on my own. Once again Coleen was the one to assist my family with our new glasses. She was very caring with my daughter, so much so that my daughter said multiple times how nice the lady was. I highly recommend Visionworks in Greensboro. You have to make an appointment due to COVID, so please call before going. Please also understand due to restrictions on the number of people in the store they may not get to the phone quickly. However, that is because they are working closely with the customers in the store. Please be patient with them. You will not be disappointed with the quality of care you receive. After cataract surgery, purchased glassed from Visionworks in Greensboro,for some reason after about a month of back and forwards to my eye doctor and surgeon, it was determined that possible my eye sight had gone south and needed another prescription. With new prescription, went back to Visionworks and explained my situation, They did without any problem, fill my new prescription free of charge. I was very thankful and grateful.
