I am pleased with the service at this location and the reason for the low review is the receiptionist! She was to call me 2 weeks after my first to update me on my trail contacts. Nothing from her. I called and she rudely informed me that it's not her job to call everyone, but we do have your contacts! I didn't know my work schedule at the time so I called back and she rudely informed me that had no appointments. After explaining again - all I had to do is pick up trial contacts she got me in. Today I arrive and received "0" greeting just go around the wall! I have my trial contacts in waiting to see the Dr for a confirmed fit and she is so rude to people! I have never felt so bullied and violated before visiting this location. The doctor was passive aggressively angry that I declined a test and tried to fear monger me into it and then basically bullied me into the testing area. She then proceeded to over treat even after saying she barely found any eye infection. I would never go back to this location and now understand why there were openings so soon because their office was EMPTY. GROSS! When I finally got a hold of someone she told me my order was lost and would expedite a new one. Never happened, never heard back again. They gave me serval different number to call to get this resolved. Been going here for years and have been getting treated worse and worse every single time I come in. It's gotten so bad that I've finally decided I'm done. The glasses I was given last year just recently broke because they were put together incorrectly, resulting in one of the tiny screws completely breaking in half. I took them in and Kat assured me she could fix them. She couldn't. And on top of that, she broke off the nose piece and left 2 scratches on the right lens. She just shrugged, handed them back to me, then said I'd have to order the same replacement frames online. She would not help me get the broken frames replaced, explaining that since I had had the glasses for 1 year and 3 days, I was no longer covered by damage protection. That sucked. 1 year and 3 days. But it just wasn't her problem, it was mine. On top of it all, I came back next week for my appointment, and she didn't even remember me, asking about 2 times "have you ever been here before?" while checking me in. And when I told her I bought my own frames, she tried to upsell me on frames from in the store so badly that I almost just left without getting anything at all. Still waiting for the new glasses to come in and I literally feel so much dread that these ones will have the same problem. Downright the worst experience I think I've ever had. On my first visit, the woman who greeted me was incredibly rude. She was supposed to look up my insurance plan but didn't, saying, "whoops, I forgot." She also directed me to a brand of glasses they didn't even carry. When I mentioned her poor attitude to Maria, the exceptionally kind employee who worked with me, she said, "Yeah, she's like that to everyone." The store itself is very dark, the lighting in some of the displays is either broken and needs to be replaced, or it wasn't even turned on. The whole store needs an upgrade. I ordered prescription glasses on March 22, 2024. I called to see whats going on because I have not heard a word from them and the automated system said I wasn't even in the system. So I talk to an employee, it said my glasses are back ordered but couldn't tell me why. The employee said she would call me back, but didn't. How do I start to explain it, Aidiey is the name of the girl that assisted me with the check-up when I went there and she was rushing me and I told her she was rushing me and her instructions weren't clear to me so I asked her if she can slow down. She looked me in the eye and told me that she has other customers in line I told her well this is a check-up so I need to do it right so the doctors can get the right results she said she doesn't care and didn't want to deal with me and walked out while I was sitting in the chair. I'm so pleased with my experience here! They have outstanding customer service, awesome options for frames and just all around good people. Dr. Hugdahl is great and explained all the tests she was doing and what the results indicate. Instead of just wandering around trying to find a pair of glasses, they make the whole process, from the eye exam to choosing your glasses very fun and personalized! Kat made sure I came out with the perfect glasses! She was extremely patient with my indecisiveness and made me feel cared for. Doctor was great, staff were rude and unprofessional. Doctor walked me through my prescription and eye health and was super nice. The girl that was responsible for taking pics of my eye and walking me through paperwork was rude and impatient with me. I have no idea who messed up, but they told me my perscription did not change, and wrote me a completely wrong perscription that did not match my last ones even remotely close. So now I have to get a whole new appointment somewhere else to get a new perscription to get new contacts. read more

I only went here because I been putting off en eye exam for years. The actual eye doctor is great but everything else truly did suck. Walking in wasn't that great. I cant really tell who is working there or not, it could of been a random person just getting on the computer and randomly checking info. The in take people are dis organized, there is a big lack of care is what I am saying. When i picked out my glasses, i wasn't the only person not enjoying their experience. It took about a month to get an appointment for eye exam and 2 weeks wait time for a new pair of glasses due to my high prescription. That's okay, I understand because Covid. Pros- 1) I really liked Dr. Hugdahl. She was kind and very thorough with the exam. 2) I am grateful their return/ refund policy. 3) they take VSP insurance so my glasses ended up only costing me about $250 with 250 frames and the works ( high index lenses, anti glare, anti blue light..) 4) manager who handled my return/ refund was nice and understanding. She did everything she could to help me. Cons- when I went there to pick up my glasses, sales person just handed me my new pair without offering to fit my new glasses. When I asked to be fitted, she looked annoyed by this and told me that I needed to make an appointment to do this. One of the other staff heard her comment and told her that that was not necessary because a fitting only take minutes. When I proceeded to sit behind the fitting counter,she grumbled and wanting to do behind front counter. The whole experience was unpleasant because this person attitude towards me was abrupt and annoyed. I knew she was getting flustered with me because the fitting was getting longer than expected and I could definitely feel her annoyance with me and I also felt like I was going nowhere with her and thinking about asking someone else for help. I was glad when she said she was going to have someone else to help me. The second associate also seemed short on time. I felt rushed to get fitting done. She kept making comments about my temples being high. I left the store unhappy and unsatisfied with my new glasses but I figured maybe I just needed to get used to my new pair. I had wore them for 8- 10 hours and as you can see by the pictures below, they were fitted very poorly. That night I made a decision to just return the glasses the next day and take my business somewhere else. I have never return glasses before and this tells you how upset I was. My old glasses are broken and taped. I know I have to wait for a month to get VSP insurance to get reinstated so it will take me a month or so to get a new pair. As desperately as I needed a new pair, It would have been more convenient and quicker to get a new frame from Visionworks but based on their rude and incompetent staff, I went and a got a refund. Another cons to this place is, it is impossible to talk to anybody over the phone. 10-12 calls I had made to this place over 3-4 days, all my calls went directly to their call center. If you decide to give this place a chance, just remember that you are buying an pair of expensive eye pieces and you would be wearing them for at least a year or two so make sure you ask to be fitted correctly and don't let them rush you with fitting. They are the professionals and I should have never sent home with poor fitting glasses like the pictures I have posted below. read more

Which is why I continuously go to this visionworks and I will continue to do so. If you want them to be friendly and you want to think they actually like you coming into their business then this is not the place for you ha ha. My advice is to go in knowing they hate you and hate that you are there and just get through it cause they don't make mistakes and they will get the job done for you efficiently. read more

The doctors are fine and personable. The staff are not and they never answer the phone. Every time I order something here, it either doesn't come or they don't call me. It's been a MONTH since I ordered a years supply of contacts. They have no idea where they are. I have been sitting on hold while they look for them. Magically they are there and the woman tells me "I don't know why they didn't call you, they're here." I mean, seriously? What is going on? I will be picking this order up and taking my business elsewhere. This is not the first time theyve communicated poorly. Last time, they called/texted me to tell me an order was ready but had ordered the wrong pair, then they weren't there. They gave me a free 6 months of contacts for their mistakes. The one I had the displeasure of working with lied, lied again after calling it out, then laughed about lying. I left, I will never spend a dime with them. I am glad that I didn't read the reviews before I booked an appointment and walked in the front door. The receptionist was busy when I walked in the front door but assisted me as soon as she was off the phone. I came unprepared for my appointment and forgot my vision insurance card, she assured me that it was no problem for her to look up my information and verify my insurance for me, luckily I knew my policy holders information. It was a relief that I didn't need to reschedule my appointment due to my error. Dr. Hugdahl is quite honestly one of the most pleasant Doctors I have ever had the pleasure to interact with...being a nurse, I interact with a lot of docs. My appointment was very easy and painless. I have had Lasik in the past so this was just a quick check to make sure my eyes are healthy and that I don't require any further correction. My husband has an appointment scheduled next week and I am anticipating that he will have the same experience as me. read more

The overall experience with staff for my eye exam was a pleasant experience. Picked up my glasses yesterday. The staff seemed bothered (and that's everybody in the front greeting area), their tone when speaking to people was condescending. They were bothered to help me fit my glasses to the extent that I left the store dissatisfied with the fit. I got in my car and looked in the mirror and was disappointed, went back in the store for further adjustments and the second staff member was bothered by my requests. Pros: I didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment. Dr. Hugdahl was AMAZING, super friendly and upbeat. She just put me in a good mood. Cons: The front desk ladies are so rude and not friendly at all. They make you feel like you're a nuisance. I was trying to get my glasses from another company and they needed my prescription but it was missing a cylinder value. I called to have them fax the new prescription to the company and the company never got it. I called again and the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude. Their customer service is shit and I will not be back for that reason. I have been going here for years. I love both doctors they have been here to the past 4 years so they offer consistency; this can be rare at these types of locations The service can be hit or miss. The sales are good but you have to read the fine print. If you have poor vision , the sales go out the window and the expense increases vastly. Where do I start with this place. I wish I could give customer service and negative star review. The doctors however, are very friendly. The staff are just rude. I've been going here for years and they have lost a customer. They messed up my son's order Never even apologized. Never really tried to make it right and tie demanded that I get the glasses I ordered. My girlfriend and her daughter went there and my stepdaughter went home crying because the lady pressured her into buying a $300 pair of glasses, that she really did not want and anytime my fiancé would say they can't really afford it the lady with just huff and puff and made her feel bad that she wasn't buying her daughter a $300 pair of glasses. After they went home she tried calling in and canceling the order especially once her daughter started crying about it they told her they did and this morning the charge went through on her credit card. read more
