I went in to buy 2000+ in electronics. First I'm told the drone I want they can't sell me and give some excuse DJI won't let them even though on display. I was told I could order the drone I said please tell me how long till it arrives? He comes back and can't answer me. So I ask for the wireless mic. His debit machine locks me out of my credit card then his debit machine isn't working I go outside after giving my info for a call back on the drone. To calm down told him I will be back in 2 min needed air. Never left the front entrance. Went in and he asked for my info again? I went to Visions Vancouver to buy an Open Box TV, but they didn't have any in stock even though it was advertised in their online flyer. George steered me to the same model TV that wasn't Open Box and sold for a couple of hundred dollars more (bait and switch tactic). I reluctantly agreed to purchase this new TV. But, during the process, George used high-pressure sales tactics to try and sell me a Surge Protector (+$400). When that didn't work he wanted to sell me the latest and greatest HDMI cable, and then he tried to sell me an extended warranty. He constantly complained about his Manager and made several trips to his Manager to okay the sales (without any extras). Finally, he asked that I meet his Manager, which I did. His Manager was sitting behind the Checkout Counter by the cash register. When I met his Manager I made it clear that I didn't want any extras and only the TV. Visions charged me $100 for the delivery. I told the Manager that Best Buy sells the same TV for the same price without the delivery charge. To rebuff me he said they do the same when they sell Online. This store is almost like a fly-by-night outfit. The management level is really pathetic. I had my 1998 Mercedes Benz SLK radio replace with a Boss System 7" android auto system with a rear view camera installed. First of all, they fouled up the installation schedule. After the installation, I discovered the unit was totally not secured to the bracket, Android Auto didn't work for they didn't bother to hook up the unit with emergency brake wire. Yet, it costed me $450 for the installation only. So I would caution anybody to have their car stereo or phone system install over there. read more

I bought a TV from the Langley Store just over 3 years ago. I also bought an SLR Camera and a laptop over the last 4 years. I purchased the money back extended warranty on the TV and went in to the store to get it back as I have never made a claim. after what I thought was about 3 years based of the date on my receipt . I was told I was too early and I would have to comeback in a few month, no specific time just in a few months so last month I went back to try again and was told I waited too long and that I only have 30 day to claim the refund after the 3 years are done I was and am so mad that this kind of scam is legal and VISIONS ELECTRONICS you have lost a long time customer I will never buy anything from your company again !!!! very unhappy read more

Visions took full payment and the excuses started, over a period of 3 weeks, I was told 5 times, shipment coming in tomorrow. What a shitshow! Greeted by horrible off frequency white noise from crappy speakers that weren't quite tuned in, and no one seemed to notice. After watching the staff run around like madmen in a Monty Python sketch, I wondered just how they stayed in business. The sales people were basically useless, and although the computer showed stock on the item I was after- no stock. The manager was a pompous ass, and obviously had no control or interest in what was occurring out on the floor. They should have crashed and burned years ago. Went in today to buy a new car audio. Salesman in that department couldn't even bother to get off his chair to help. He was more interested on his computer than a sale. Probably playing doodle jump on it, as we were the only customers in the store. They had quite a few radios on display except none were hooked up, so you couldn't hear them, the one, the chair lump said was connected to a speaker, had no antenna, so it wouldn't pick up radio, had the Bluetooth connection disabled so we couldn't connect to our phone to get an idea of sound, and alas, I don't carry a cd in my pocket, so we left, and 15 minutes later bought one along with speakers with installation. The set we were interested in was 10% more here than another dealer as well, and they were extremely happy to help, unlike the salesman at visions. I was shocked that a chain store, with a high end location acted like a sale was unimportant. read more

I don't even know where to start with this place. Me and the gf walk in and were greeted by an older sales man. Within the first 10 seconds we learned that he had to quit smoking and drinking because he got cancer. He asked what we were looking for and we said that we were just looking. He then proceeded to launch into a diatribe about plasmas and lcds. After about 5 minutes of intrusive questions about our family situation and inferences that I am whipped, he finally got frustrated and began insulting me. "I can't read you. You're all over the place. You don't know what you want." It wasn't that I didn't know what I wanted, it was that we were just looking. Just looking. Exactly what I told him at the very beginning before he began to harrass and insult us. There are laws against aggressive panhandling, there should be laws against aggressive sales men. Anytime you look to beat the store you are going to have problems. That said: bunch of guys who are out trying to sell the 100" for very little commission who also will try somewhat to sell the $14 product to the guy with very little. Very mixed group, diverse, need to gel a little better, but, basically operating within the confines of a good organisation and operating to the best of their ability. Management is a shortfall and location is not perfect, yet all in all Visions are like your local Canucks, Lions, Giants: we have done our best type-thing, there have been some winners and some losers, you could do better in a few places, and a whole lot worse in the great many. read more

I called the Langley visions and a young sounding man answered. I told him I was wanted to buy a certain printer and said the website says they match store or website prices. He checked and sure enough they had the printer in stock. I told that the price match was at www.xxx.ca web site. I told him the quoted the price 69.99 + 3.xx = 72.0 He checked and the first thing he said was no it 72.xx. I said yes with the environment fee is 3.xx. He sounded like he didn't like that I corrected him. Anyways he says you have to pay shipping. I told no you don't. I had done it the night before and there was no shipping. But he continued argue to say no there is shipping. I mentioned that you might have to put it in the shopping cart and start to go through the checkout to see. With attitude he said no it says on his computer you have to pay, and anyways that printer is on sale. Then he said if I wanted the price match I would have to go down there and talk to the manager. That was the end of the conversation. Needless to say I wasn't going down there, why when I can buy it off the net hassle free and cheaper. I just thought maybe support your local business. Went to the Vinson's electronics store in Abbotsford, I was planning on buying MTX terminator dual 12" subwoofers. I was greeted buy somebody right when I walked in, I asked if he knew what amp worked with the sub. He literally told me he doesn't know anything about audio even tho the store is pretty much all car and home audio. Anyways, he went to grab somebody who knew more about Audio. When the second guy came around he told me I was stupid for wanting to buy MTX terminators because they will blow up the second I turn them on. Instead he told me to buy a 1000$ single 10" sub. At this point I was getting really pissed off with them, especially because they were trying to up sale me and telling Me I'm dumb for wanting the terminators (even tho I did all my online research before hand and they were good). I eventually just told the guy I want the terminators and an amp that will work with them. He was all pissy with me after I told him that. He then proceeded to answer a phone call from someone and talk for 15 min. I sat there waiting to pay for my shit and get out of there. He didn't even bother to help me take the sub box to the door Because he said he had a broken back. I have no idea how he was able to walk if his back was broken but at this point i was so pissed off I just grabbed the box and amp and got out of there. Never go to visions, they are terrible. NOT IMPRESSED!! I bought a Panasonic 50 inch TV 7 years ago and paid for the 7 year extended warranty. I paid extra to have them deliver and hook it up.. Within a week or so I had problems and called Visions. They sent a service person out. It was determined the TV was fine but the problem was due to a loose connection from their installation. The problem continued so I had the cable company come out. They informed me that there were too many HDMI cables. I returned the expensive ones back to Visions and have not had any problems with our TV since. When I went to claim the $220 dollar extended warranty fee, which I feel we did not actually use as it was never a TV problem, I was informed we had a claim and were not eligible.. Frustratingly enough , we paid them to deliver and connect it in the first place...Dealing with the person filling out the warranty claim was a challenge as well.. I had to correct him 3 times about my phone number and email address. He still got it wrong... Due to the problems with Visions, in general, I will not deal with them again... read more

This place is the crappiest place to buy electronics if what you bought has something wrong with it. I bought an amp and i hooked it up and it wouldnt even power up. I took it back and they gave me a new one which is the way it should be. The new one powered up but there was no signal coming out of the speaker output. They did a bench test in their shop and told me that yeah your right and it was supposed to go back and i was to get a new one. Well 2 full months have went by and these idiots cannot tell me anything. They dont know when i am getting my new one. They put it in their computer that it went in for servicing. Well this is total crap how is it in for servicijng it was defective right out the box give me my replacement I am getting sick of waiting and when i inquire i get treated like i bug them all of the time. They say they will call me when they figure it out. I waited a full month and got no call and i now have waited 2 full months and they cannot tell me when in the hell i am getting my crap. very very dissappointed with this company,,,my 82 inches samsung television that is worth less than $6,000 ,,,has shown lines vertical and horizontal. i phoned vision electronics july 28, 2018... 2 days before the manufacturing warranty expires... i purchased the item july 30, 2017. i have no idea how the lines happened. they asked me to send pictures and they said its physical damaged...then i said i will use the extended warranty which cost me almost $1000 for 5 years. vision said they also won't cover it because its physical damage. 1.when they offered me the warranty it was not explain about physical damage. 2.the reason u pick up warranty is to cover the cost of just in case whatever can happens to the item. 3.it was only said that in 5 years if nothing happen or claim on the item u can get money back as store credit. 4. but, it was never mentioned that u have to purchase double of the amount price of the warranty amount to get your store credit. what kind of scum is this... i would not recommend vision electronics and don't buy the extended warranty. bullshit... read more

I have been to this location twice in the last couple months. I have been shopping at other visions stores for years and have had nothing but great experiences. This location just seems to disappoint every time in every way. The staff I have dealt with come across as rude and seem to lack knowledge of the product that they sell. Selection of in stock items always seems to have me leaving with out something. I wont get into the specifics of my experiences but to say the least they have been far from great. The first contact was with a young man who clearly didn't know what he was doing and sent me to a section without a service rep. Ordered the stereo which was apparently on the shelf in another location with a charge of course but was told it would take a week. I called after 8 days and the rep on the phone had no idea if it was sent or in transit or even ordered. He said someone would call back. 2 days later still no call. I called again and same thing. No one knows anything. I went in to get a refund and same young man sent me to the wrong counter again. Terrible customer service. quite Possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. the personnel there really have no idea what they are doing. one in particular would have to be one of their sales representatives named 'Med'. He is known for saying the phrase 'I will let you know' which really means I have no idea. I'm sure if you wanted to get a job at this establishment you would simply need to be able to say the words 'I will let you know and they will hire you on the spot. heck, they might even make you manager. i would strongly recommend not going here if you need any sort of appliances in the coming weeks or so because i am still waiting for a dryer 7 months later! Keep in mind that this was before any of the major floods had happened. I had then finally had enough and went in store to get a refund. Only then to be told that they were not able to process one and I would need to send an email to the general manager to receive a refund. so I am currently still left without a dryer. "thanks" 'Med'. In this day and age when you can purchase literally every item in this store online at ease, you would expect a brick and mortar electronics store like visions to be hanging on to the niche of sales from providing exceptional customer service, nothing could be further from the truth of their business model. I purchased a sub woofer and enclosure from visions Langley in the winter and the driver had quit on its own in the summer, fair enough, it was a JL which is definitely not the highest quality driver, but being that it was well under a year since date of purchase, the 1 year manufacturers warranty was still valid. When i went in to visions to figure out how to send it in for warranty, the arsenal of useless 20-something year olds working in the car audio department responded, "i dunno, send it into JL or something" and then proceeded to have their mindless conversation between themselves. The employees of this visions are truly some of the most useless human beings I have ever come across, when trying to get a website or address that i could ship to they had no response and then did not proceed to find one. They then asked if i needed any other help and I responded yes how can i send this in to JL for warranty service, they responded with "bro i don't know talk to JL" I ended up leaving and calling JL to find out that the driver has to be sent in by the retailer and that they don't accept send-ins from customers alone. Great! so I phoned into visions again a few weeks after to talk to a girl who directed me to the car audio appointment and then told my situation to the guy working in car audio who gave me the same response of "bro send it to JL or something we dont service anything" and then as i asked if he knew who at jl i could get in contact with to do so he went to look, put me on hold and then never resumed the call, i called in about a half an hour later to give him the benefit of the doubt that maybe the phone messed up and i was greeted by another car audio guy on the phone who said the other "bro" was looking into it and they'd give me a call back in 15 minutes, he forgot to take my number down and then after reminding him that he might need it to call me back he wrote it down, as expected i never received a call back now i have a useless sub woofer driver and no contact with JL to recieve warranty service. If you're looking where to buy car audio I would suggest literally any other store because with this garbage service and caveman-like knowledge these guys don't deserve any business. Manager of this location: reconsider the uneducated "bro's" you have working in your car audio department, train the new employees on what impedance and freguencies and pre-outs are (you know - shit they should maaaybe be aware of when trying to sell audio products) , and it also might be a good idea to inform them that consumer electronics are not limited to purchase through physical stores anymore so if they want the business to stay out of the red to maybe provide some service to keep at least some of the customers returning. read more

Couldn't give a dam. I asked if he could show me the subwoofers and he didn't get off the chair. I asked questions and his answers were short and not helpful so i walked out. I'm not sure about all the bad talk I have read on here about Visions. Every time I've gone in, I have always been given excellent service along with advice for improving my car stereo. I can't remember the two guys I usually talk to, but they are the guys with the lowriders. I recommend going in an talking to these two if you want to take your stereo to the next level. They have a lot of knowledge and seem to definitely know there cars. All I can say is Visions is the only big box store with awesome car audio. read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone, i went in there looking for an air conditioner and the salemen was being all nice and helpful and i asked him if i could return it if i didn't like it... he reassured me that i would have 14 days to return it and comfirmed it with the guy at the front desk. I ended up buying it and i realized that it wasnt cooling my room enough and that it was terribly noisy so i went to go bring it back yesterday and they tell me they can't return it because it's a "final sale" and they showed me my receipt.... they had never told me that this product was a final sale and they said i could return it within 14 days. it's clear to me this place is run by a bunch of lieing scammers who just wanted to pocket some change. I feel betrayed by this whole situation and i will NEVER shop at visions again, thank you for ruining my week. read more

The car audio dept at this place gives the worst customer service I have ever had and at 46 yrs old I've dealt with a lot of retail establishments in my life. First they basically ignore you then give you a "what do you want?" type response like by making the mistake of shopping in their store you're some kind of inconvenience to them. Then once you establish that you're interested in purchasing something (even though they're dicks and you shouldn't) they up sell you every possible option and when you ask "why do I need that?" They first give you a "you're an idiot look" but then can't actually answer the question in a believable way. Then when it comes to the install again they hit you with the "if you don't get this that and the other thing your product won't work properly". In the end a $400 stereo that was advertised as "basic install included" cost me $900. To add insult to injury when I went to pick it up they put a piece of paper in front of me to sign saying that I was happy with the install and that the stereo had been demonstrated to me how it works. When I said "you haven't even shown me my car yet nevermind shown me how the stereo works". The response was "here's your key go look for yourself" and so far as the demo "what do you want to know? Read your manual". I'm not a needy customer but after dropping $900 on a $400 stereo AND asking me to sign a piece of paper saying you showed me how it works you'd think that they'd at least spend 10min to SHOW ME HOW IT WORKS. If I could give less than 1 star believe me I would. STAY AWAY FROM VISIONS LANGLEY and don't send anyone else there unless you hate them. read more
