Bad place for your wallet and your time !!! Early September 2019, I got installed a Viper remote starter and purchased a warranty with this. Few $ short of 400$. Recommended by the staff. After few days of testing I realized that it wasn't always starting, even less then 50 feet, from a wooden house. ( suppose to be good up to 1000 feet ). So they checked it and said all was ok. So I gave it a few more days of test, and the same happened. Went back to the store and ask to upgrade to the better model, cause the basic is far from being a smart system. They were charging me another 400$+. I had to repay the 245$ for installation. So service and warranty is worth nothing there. These days with social media power, you got to be very rich or stupid to ignore the impact it can have on your business. read more

The prices seemed fair on most items and I particularly like the fact that this store is Canadian owned. The most impressive part however during our recent shopping trip there was meeting up with an outstanding salesperson! He was extremely knowledgeable, cordial, and helpful - not pushy and not trying to sell us any more than we wanted. This will be a very fair review, because at some point the owner will likely creep this and try to debunk it. Prices are decent, employees seem knowledgeable about the items they represent. And I THINK the selection is average to better. However, my experience with service after sale was astonishingly brutal. While I did have a friend get outstanding service after sale with a defective tv, MY experience involved buying a $2000+ item where I was told if something were to go wrong with it, the issue would be resolved within 72 hours. Two weeks after I bought it, it failed. But in my case, it was literally a month (NO exaggeration) before I managed to get results. And it would have been longer had I not got fed up and made an appearance in the store, visibly unimpressed (however I didn't have a public meltdown - it's not the employees fault). And the way they dealt with it, it could have easily happened within 72 hours. This city has a lot of other options! I will easily shop elsewhere. read more

Needed to buy a remote-starter for my Subaru. Sales staff was friendly, attentive and seemed knowledgeable. I purchased the unit, made an appointment for install and that's where the good times ended... I dropped off on time, they immediately told me it would not be ready at the agreed-upon time. Then, I got called during the install (cell phone; I'm not waiting in store for 4+ hours) and told they forgot to charge me for a needed component, which is completely unprofessional. When I arrived at the adjusted-pick-up-time, the frickin' work still wasn't done! It took almost 7 hours from drop-off time, which is a whooping 3 hours more than originally stated! Maybe they were having a tough day or something, but it felt like after they got the money in the register the customer service stopped. I wouldn't bother shopping there again. Even if the price seems right they might have "forgotten" about additional charges. read more

Went in to purchase a deck and wiring harness for the second time at visions (regrettably) and was denied to purchase a in stock wiring harnesses AGAIN because they would rather sell to customers that want to pay to have visions install. Make sure to stop by visions to check out their Boxing Day sales and maybe they will sell you some of their products! Absolute joke read more

Never buy anything here. Product didn't work went back within the week and they said they won't deal with warranty on head phones even tho we were told they had 30 day exchange. So we called the manufacturer and they said that we need to go to the store. We called the manager at visions and they have been giving us the run around for the last 4 months so now the warranty is up. Never buying anything there again. read more

Spent over $4,000 on a car audio system here. Decided to upgrade my current system to which they recommended at 1500 watt amp that would run it "perfectly" without overpowering the amp. It won't even play at normal volume without going into protection mode. I decide to get it checked thinking the amp was faulty however they basically told me what they sold me was under powered and if I wanted to use my system it would cost me another $700 minimum for the new amp. Never had such bad service in car audio before. Highly recommend avoiding at all costs and going to some place that knows what the hell they are doing, honest suggestion would be vibe audio. read more

It would have been great if they installed my remote starter right the first time. I purchased the top of the line from them for my new vehicle, it took them three attempts to get it right. The manager of the audio/vehicle installation area was yelling and swearing at all of his employees 2 of the times I was there. I was going to buy a TV there but the salesman could only be described as "creepy" and it put me off. read more

Terrible, 5 times been back to get my new stereo working without success. The Stereo needs to be sent out for repair then they cant find it. When they do find it ..they don't call. Booking appointments on painful. 4 hours to pull my new stereo out again out, My vehicle was waiting in the parking lot for 3.5 hours. The car audio department is immature, and has poor customer service. They should be fired... then they have all the time in he world to play on their phones instead of being proper service installers. Will never set foot in a Visions Electronics store again. This exchange took a bit of time to troubleshoot, which should be expected. Today, Ron explained the Sonos speaker system to us, and the Bluetooth options. BRUTAL, I am so so so disappointed in your service. After driving a truck with a hands free set up for four years, I upgraded to a diesel without the convenience of hands free. I had decided to upgrade my deck so that I could keep the Navigation and gain the hands free feature once again. I was told that my only route "if I wanted to go through the stereo" was to buy a deck along with installation came to a total of $1600.00. I figured for that kind of money I should get pretty damn good service. It had taken the better part of a week to figure out the basics of my new "deck". We are from the Calgary area but were in Red Deer for a few days having to schedule time off work. So with very little time away from work I figured this was my chance to take advantage of the install. When I finally got around to trying out my hands free option I found that I could hear the caller on the other end but they could not hear me. Now, there is a volume control for speakers and microphone. Both were turned up. When I called the installation desk in the Red Deer store to ask if there were any other possible settings I may not have known about, I was told that it was probably a problem with the microphone connection and that I would have to schedule a trouble shooting time. I explained to this young fella that my company demanded 95% or better at times of my time and that I never knew when I would be off with as little as a days notice, and that it would be best If I could just drop by and they could fix the issue quickly considering they knew what the problem was. He said he couldn't screw over his other customers for my comfort. I was perfectly fine with the whole situation, up to this point. I figured, well they were probably busy that day and just looked over a minor mishap. Well.........now I'm mad. The very reason I spent this kind of money, was not working, and he was worried about screwing over other customers? I'm sure he meant the customers that he still had to get money out of. What did he think he was doing to me? Did he even consider the fact he was screwing me over? I suppose he had my money already and I was moved to the back burner by this time. Is it wrong for me to be so upset? I too bought extended warranty and I'm worried about further issues now. read more
