Throughout almost the entire season, communication with parents was minimal. As recital approached, there was no dress rehearsal scheduled for the day before the performance, and no communication about that until parents began asking questions during the week of the recital. Even more concerning, no information was provided regarding arrival times, check-in procedures, or what was expected of the dancers throughout the day. The only information parents received came after repeatedly asking, and the response was essentially, "I think 10:30 will work" for an 11:00 a.m. recital. In the entire 9 months my daughter participated, I never learned the instructors' names and never met the owner a single time. That level of disconnect is surprising and, in my opinion, unprofessional for a youth program. As someone who has coached youth programs for several years, I understand the importance of communication with parents--especially when working with very young children. Keeping families informed should be a priority, not an afterthought. I am grateful for the experience my daughter had and the enjoyment she got from dancing. However, I am completely dissatisfied with how this business is managed. It feels as though the owner may be stretched too thin between multiple locations and simply does not have the time to properly oversee and support the Bath location. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this studio. I hope this review helps other parents make an informed decision when choosing a dance program for their child.

We contacted them about two weeks before our wedding--the panicked point at which we realized we wanted to look good dancing our first dance as a married couple. (Note: I advise contacting them much, much sooner.) Thanks to their patience, good humor, and most of all, their SKILL in teaching the non-gifted the basics; we made it through our first dance very well. In fact, we actually got compliments from many of our guests on how well we danced. What I like most is that the spouse and I now have a new, social, active hobby the two of us can pursue together.
