As a parent you can see your child's progress as they grow, but nothing is more special than seeing the support from the older girls to the younger girls. Classes include ballet/tap/jazz combination as well as specialty classes like hip hop and lyrical and more! The teachers are very supportive and positive and make the dance experience - which is a sport in my humble opinion, enjoyable - dance is hard work but fun a beautiful to watch - Elite makes sure all the kids are stars! Throughout almost the entire season, communication with parents was minimal. As recital approached, there was no dress rehearsal scheduled for the day before the performance, and no communication about that until parents began asking questions during the week of the recital. Even more concerning, no information was provided regarding arrival times, check-in procedures, or what was expected of the dancers throughout the day. The only information parents received came after repeatedly asking, and the response was essentially, "I think 10:30 will work" for an 11:00 a.m. recital. In the entire 9 months my daughter participated, I never learned the instructors' names and never met the owner a single time. That level of disconnect is surprising and, in my opinion, unprofessional for a youth program. As someone who has coached youth programs for several years, I understand the importance of communication with parents--especially when working with very young children. Keeping families informed should be a priority, not an afterthought. I am grateful for the experience my daughter had and the enjoyment she got from dancing. However, I am completely dissatisfied with how this business is managed. It feels as though the owner may be stretched too thin between multiple locations and simply does not have the time to properly oversee and support the Bath location. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this studio. I hope this review helps other parents make an informed decision when choosing a dance program for their child.

Students have said that the teachers make learning fun and at the same time challenging while learning. Don't waste your money going anywhere else if you want an enjoyable experience for you or your child to learn to dance. Teachers are always accessible to talk to and are very understanding, patient and willing to help students and parents with any questions or concerns. Their competition teams are awesome and have won numerous awards. There is also alot of one-on-one attention given to students during their classes. The new space is located on Monroe Ave and could NOT be more convenient. Make a quick left or right off the expressway and BOOM - there's easy parking lot around the back where the main entrance into the studio is. The studio is primarily focussed on dance for kiddos and teens, but I've been lucky to take some of the evening classes they offer for adults, all of which have been outstanding - even for me who is more of an "enthusiastic mover" than dancer. I love how convenient it is for me to make a month-long, once a week commitment to try something new and get moving in a new way. I am currently enjoying adult hip hop class and teacher Solange makes class FUN, accessible, and inclusive of all abilities. I can't recommend enrolling your kiddo here OR taking a class yourself enough. My child attended one of their week long summer theater camps. Their website says (and we were…read moretold) that there would be two "teachers" PLUS three "aides" working everyday with 30 children. This was not true. In reality, there were 34 children (too many for their small two-room studio) with only one teacher/aide at times, sometimes two. The "main teacher" often appeared overwhelmed and seemed to yell more often than talk to the kids. And many times throughout the day, the majority of the kids had to sit still and "be quiet" while the few main girls practiced. Had I known this at the time, I would have immediately taken my child out of the camp. During the disorganized performance at the end of the week, the "teachers/aides" could be heard in the hallways and behind the stage yelling at the kids. My husband and family heard one of the "teachers/aides" say very loudly "SHUT YOUR MOUTH!" to all of the children and also heard one of kids politely ask to go to the bathroom and a "teacher" replying "NO, go sit down and don't talk!" My husband intervened and the "teacher" immediately changed her tune. I'm sure there are some nice people who work there and it sounds like they do some nice things but overall, the people who we saw interacting with the children were unprofessional, stressed out and not educated in child development.
