I felt like telling her off when she was being rude to a kid of only 11 yrs old , how dare you yell at a kid especially one that isn't yours! The poor workers were being picked by this woman, I didn't quite get her name but from what I've heard I'm not the only complaint . I wonder how she hasn't been fired yet? My old doctor told me exactly what was wrong with my Pupil. I decided to test her knowledge and ask her the same thing - she said she didn't know and that it might be hereditary. No, it's not hereditary at all. I can't believe that's the only answer she gave me. Here's the topper.. On Monday, I booked the appointment for Friday afternoon. It was quarter mile down the road from my job. I get off work at 5, so I figured 530 would be perfect, which is when we booked the appointment for. Thursday, I get a phone call asking if I could move my appointment to 6:00. Annoyed - I took it anyway because I really wanted this appointment. For that hour wait, I decided I could go grocery shopping across the street in the mean time. Friday afternoon at 2:00, they called me and asked me if I could come in at 6:30 instead. Now, I'm mad. They told me that the doctor wouldn't be in the office until then. I decided to keep it anyway. So now, I'm waiting in my parking lot for an hour and half. Until I finally drive over there, and wait another 20 minutes because the doctor was running late. I didn't think she was friendly. She threw her purse and other items she ran in with into the room scattered all over the chair. So unprofessional. She then told me why she was late and that she had to get pictures with her son for Prom, so she had to drive to Nassau all the way back to Suffolk County. Are you serious? So she knew about his Prom a very long time ago, but decides to not take the night off and instead piss people off? That's what I call a good office. NOT. Never again will I come back here.

I was so pleased with the experience that I went back to have lenses put into my own frame, and he was just as helpful and accommodating the second time around. I was so happy to learn that Scott loves music, which made the experience feel that much more enjoyable and personal. It's rare to find someone who combines skill, kindness, and such a friendly personality so naturally. Dr. Romanelli was also very strong in his recommendation of Brookhaven Opticians, telling me that if I wanted a decent pair of glasses, this was the place to go. I may not remember his exact words, but I do remember how strongly he recommended them. The selection is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the value is absolutely there.
