I received quotes from four different solar companies. All four of them did solar panel layout…read moredesigns for my roof. Solar Advantage was the most professional across the board, and was the only company that chose a panel layout that didn't put panels in places that are shaded 50% of the day. Their estimates on costs to recuperate my investment were the most conservative, assuming a 6% annual increase in the cost of a kilowatt vs the other three companies that assumed 8%-10%. This is while also having one of the lower prices. My panels were just installed yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. The installation team showed-up on time, and was extremely friendly. Jay had a few questions from me as far as placement of some of the electrical components were concerned, and then they were at it putting things in place. The installation crew even took the time to explain to my kids how solar works! After they were done, everything was cleaned up without any trash left behind and everything put back as it was originally; or in better condition. They even cleanly removed one of our bushes (After talking with us), in order to meet code for one of the boxes. We're currently waiting for the inspection to be done which is scheduled for tomorrow, then we'll get our two-way meter from FPL; after that everything will be in full force. Solar Advantage has made it clear how long to expect these things to take place, and so far everything has taken significantly less than expected. As a result you can believe the dates they give you, and your actual dates will likely be better than what they say. I wouldn't hesitate from doing business with Solar Advantage again; and will be recommending them to all my friends.

We had a new roof put on about a year and a half ago. Even with the old roof we never ever had any…read moreleaks in our closet in the master bedroom or the guest bedroom closet . After the new roof was put on we had a leak in the master bedroom closet and the guest room closet . The roofers removed the siding a little while doing the roof and did not nail it back on The Gables . When I told them about this they insisted it was not their fault but they could put new siding under where we have siding for $1,700 . They claim it is not them and they are not responsible . I had a roofing company come and check out what was going on and they told us the roofers from advantage Roofing did not nail back the siding allowing water to seep in at both Gables . I would not recommend them . We use them because we have solar panels on the roof and they had to put those back after the new roof was put on . I believe if you are in business you would try everything to keep your customers and get good reviews but this was not the case with them .

Following hurricane damage to my home, I hired Enhance Home Solutions LLC to perform…read moreinsurance-related repair and reconstruction work funded through my homeowner's insurance claim. I paid a substantial amount of insurance proceeds toward the Project based on representations made regarding the scope of work, timing, and quality of performance. Unfortunately, the work performed was extremely slow, poorly managed, and far below what was represented. The Project was repeatedly delayed and left unfinished for extended periods of time. Only limited and temporary measures were performed, including tarping, temporary structural supports, and minimal emergency work. Critical permanent repairs were never completed. No permanent roof repair, roof replacement, or structural reconstruction was finished, despite months passing and significant insurance funds being paid. The temporary tarps installed by the contractor failed and were not timely replaced, which resulted in additional water intrusion and damage to my home. The contractor further mismanaged the Project by failing to maintain consistent progress, ordering materials incorrectly, and failing to provide any clear or reliable schedule for completion. Despite being paid a total of $39,000.00 in insurance proceeds, the contractor abandoned the Project before completion and refused to return unearned and overpaid funds. As a result, my home remained in poor condition for an extended period, causing significant stress, inconvenience, and additional expense. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

Being a multi party check there were 4 signatures needed and unfortunately it was signed by everyone else when he got ahold of it. Now he thinks he can take my full $10800 insurance check. I can't say enough great things about Christina and her company. My system went down over the…read moresummer while I was traveling, and frustrated with the long service intervals at my current installer and knowing I'm outside my warranty period, I reached out to find a local company that could help. I was so thankful I caught the first company's voicemail. That lead me to Christina, who offered to come out same day and saved me $750 in service costs for an inexpensive part. She fixed the issue very quickly and exceeded expectations taking the extra time to make sure I had confidence in the system and protective measures in place. I was delighted to find out she was the owner, because it was clear she takes personal pride in the work and truly cares about her customers. That kind of responsiveness, knowledge, and genuine customer service gave me something I hadn't found in a while: peace of mind! I'm incredibly grateful to find a service provider I can count on.

SO GOOD I offered to buy the company! I know great service and great products and great business…read moremodels when I see it. I talked to both owners, Christina and Jared, because they both came to my house at different times during the installation, and I'm an inquisitive and demanding customer (Warren Buffet was my neighbor back in Omaha) ... you make me happy, you're the best at what you do! I even offered to buy a percentage of the company, but they turned me down saying, "This is our life's work. We love what we do." They killed the competition. SunPro/ADT ($45k) was almost 50% higher than the price of Bay Area Solar ($31,776). A third less memorable competitor was 20% more and far less professional and friendly. Installation was fast and professional. I've been researching solar panels for 30 years so I knew what I was getting, and I got the best bang for the buck. No money down, $8261 Federal Tax Credit, $160 a month for 20 years, written guarantee that all my panels will produce 95% of what they produce the first day of installation, or Bay Area Solar will replace them for free. My bill with Duke has consistently been the minimum $35.96, with a few winter months around $60 due to more cloudy days and angle of the sun. My neighborhood was built in 1978, and my neighbors consistently pay $300, $400, and sometimes $500 a month.
