I received quotes from four different solar companies. All four of them did solar panel layout…read moredesigns for my roof. Solar Advantage was the most professional across the board, and was the only company that chose a panel layout that didn't put panels in places that are shaded 50% of the day. Their estimates on costs to recuperate my investment were the most conservative, assuming a 6% annual increase in the cost of a kilowatt vs the other three companies that assumed 8%-10%. This is while also having one of the lower prices. My panels were just installed yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. The installation team showed-up on time, and was extremely friendly. Jay had a few questions from me as far as placement of some of the electrical components were concerned, and then they were at it putting things in place. The installation crew even took the time to explain to my kids how solar works! After they were done, everything was cleaned up without any trash left behind and everything put back as it was originally; or in better condition. They even cleanly removed one of our bushes (After talking with us), in order to meet code for one of the boxes. We're currently waiting for the inspection to be done which is scheduled for tomorrow, then we'll get our two-way meter from FPL; after that everything will be in full force. Solar Advantage has made it clear how long to expect these things to take place, and so far everything has taken significantly less than expected. As a result you can believe the dates they give you, and your actual dates will likely be better than what they say. I wouldn't hesitate from doing business with Solar Advantage again; and will be recommending them to all my friends.

After the new roof was put on we had a leak in the master bedroom closet and the guest room closet . The roofers removed the siding a little while doing the roof and did not nail it back on The Gables . When I told them about this they insisted it was not their fault but they could put new siding under where we have siding for $1,700 . They claim it is not them and they are not responsible . I had a roofing company come and check out what was going on and they told us the roofers from advantage Roofing did not nail back the siding allowing water to seep in at both Gables . I would not recommend them . We use them because we have solar panels on the roof and they had to put those back after the new roof was put on . I believe if you are in business you would try everything to keep your customers and get good reviews but this was not the case with them .

We were very happy with Walsh Roofing services. They did a wonderful job on our roof replacement…read moreand customer service was excellent from start to finish. Trey arrived to my home at the allotted appointment time with an estimate and explained every layer that would be applied, why they are better than some of their competitors, and the 3 plans they offer. We selected the middle plan as it fit our budget the best and still had some of the bells and whistles from plan C. Trey was very helpful with selecting the color and sent me photos of homes they had completed. Something that makes Walsh standout compared to other companies that came to give an estimate is that they work with many different brands of shingles and they recommend which ones work best for you and your environmental situation. We chose Majestic Shake by Pinnacle Pristine. The colors worked perfectly with our home and the stone accents. The job itself was completed in 2 days. They used a dump truck on wheels so we had no damage to our driveway. Clean up was done very well, minus the fact that the crew forgot to tarp our pool and we had some cleaning up to do in the pool. Derek, who came for final clean up and to collect payment, was very apologetic when I mentioned the issue with the pool and provided a reasonable solution. Overall, we'll definitely be recommending Walsh Roofing to anyone we know looking to get a new roof. We had heavy rain for 2 days straight after the roof was installed and so far so good!!

Still down 1 less panel and no responsibility taken for a lousy installation. Two of my direct neighbors have the same exact system installed by solar solutions and they have no damage. Tim says the wind doesn't effect everybody's installation the same, I agree it only effect the sub-par installations.
