Sometimes it takes a little research and some luck to find competent trades companies such as Deans Electric. I received an estimate with a cap number that I thought was fair and today they came out to install a dedicated line for an outdoor spa. The tech was knowledgeable and organized and did a great job. I would use Dean's Electric for small and any large jobs in the future. read more

Had them come out for a small job (replace a few GFI outlets for home inspection resolution), experience was quick and efficient. They had no problem with me providing my own supplies to save a few dollars, I appreciate the helpful attitude and not trying to nickel and dime me. They came out quickly, got the job done with no fuss. I'll use them again for electrical work. read more

My power went out on a Thursday during a time when the heat index in Florida was between 205-110 degrees (feels like temp). I made over a dozen calls starting with my Electric company. We were told by the Elect. co. That the problem was with my home and not the companies power supply. They removed the meter and put a temp so-called fix and let. immediately after they left the temp fix failed. For the next five days we smoldered in the house calling every Electric company in Tampa. I understand that people are busy but there was absolutely no compassion for our wellbeing and no attempt to work with us. I then called DEAN'S ELECTRIC. First, I spoke a very nice and compassionate lady that seemed to understand our situation. She ask for information and said that she would try everything she could to get someone out to help. Then Dean himself called and said that all of the servicemen were out and that he would personally come out to help us. After meeting Dean he told me that the person I spoke with was his wife and together they decided, even though it was late in the day that they he would come out and assist a family in need. He came out and was very professional and knowledgeable. and took care of the problem. I was willing to pay whatever was needed just to get some relief and yet his price was lower than any estimate that i had been given. It's great to know that there is a least one company that in this day and age of self-interest is willing to go the extra mile to help a customer in need. I would give him 10 Stars if I could. Thanks to Dean Electric, specifically Edan and his wife they have a customer for life. I'm sure that his example emanates through the entire company. Again Thanks Very satisfied customer. read more

Dean's has done all the electrical work at our home. They installed cabinet lighting that changed the entire feel of our kitchen, landscape lighting, recessed can lighting throughout our entire home, hung all of our patio fans, and they've done one off jobs every now and then for us. The customer service you receive and the quality of work is like no other. They know the Tampa area so well being locally family owned and operated which is awesome, and Dean is a straight shooter who will not waste your time or money. I feel confident in listening to the advice they give us as first time home owners. No rip offs and just nice people all around. Dean and the team know what they're doing and are in business for all the right reasons! read more

Great price and great work. I had 10 recessed lights put in the house at a lower price than other electricians quoted me. Came on time and completed the work on time. They also cleaned up after themselves. I am going to use them again. read more

Called them this morning with very specific details regarding new fitness equipment and was put through to Dean, of Dean's electrical. Due to the person who answered the call passing along misinformation he told me i didn't need that done. When he asked why I thought I need it, I said because that's what the manufacture requires in order for the item to be installed. When I proceeded to provide him the specific instructions I needed for my job he turned out to be a big jerk and told me to call someone else!! read more

I must admit, being in the world of real estate, I was afraid of using an electrician when my seller needed work. One person came from a big company who advertises all over the net, to meet me and I felt so taken advantage of. He was a fast talker.....talk about "price gouge to the tune of $8,000 was quoted!" How do they sleep at night? So I called Deans' and from the start, I felt comfortable and really felt that honesty would prevail for my seller and it did. Final price was under $400- The other company quoted things I didn't come close to needing! So hard to trust and now I have found my electrician, a com[any with morals and values! I am so grateful to have made the extra call and THANK YOU to Dean and his staff. A company and its employees where "sleeping at night" must be easy! read more

We contracted with Dean for a small commercial job and couldn't be more pleased with him and his staff. Dean is a straight shooter and will give you an honest and fair quote, and his staff will be professional, thorough, and efficient throughout. Our project required several changes on the fly, and Dean was able to accommodate with ease. Dean and his staff are clearly a cut above the rest. read more

Made a service call because I was having issues wiring a motion activated attic light as well as a power outlet together with an additional line running into one box. Called them up and an electrician by the name of Dave showed up right on time. He was neat, organized, and worked meticulously to complete the task in only a few minutes. We have used Dean's Electric several times in the past and this experience was just as good as all of the other times. Would highly recommend them to anybody who needs anything fixed or remodeled in their house!!!! read more

Excellent service and experience. On time and professional. Kept informed of issues that arose during work.

What a fantastic experience. My Mom's house had some problems and she had no hot water & no lights, had another company come out, check things out, flipped a few breakers got the lights back on and then told her she needed all kinds of work to be done to the tune of $4,800.00. When I called and asked for an explanation I was told that due to new codes everything had to e upgraded etc. Dean's was recommended by a friend, I called and talked to Lindsay who was so helpful and had me email the proposal so Dean could look at it. Then I got a call from Dean and after we talked he wanted to send out one of his guys to check things out and see if they couldn't get my Mom's water heater on for her. They came out the same day, the technician looked things over and found the problem, fixed the problem and my Mom now has hot water. There are other things that need to be upgraded and fixed but no where near the cost of the original proposal. Dean's Electric is an honest company and one I will be recommending to all my friends. Everyone I dealt with from the office, the owner and the technician all had one goal and that was to take care of the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible. read more

Deans electrical service is indeed a very rare find. I recently moved to the area and came across Dean electrical service and called them for some repairs to my new home. Their staff is prompt, friendly, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. I recently had to call them again for an emergency repair and they did all they could to get out there quickly and take care of the issue. As someone that worked in the service industry for over 20 years, it was a pleasure to find a service provider that actually lives the values that they claim. I highly, highly recommend Dean's electrical service. read more

Fantastic work & very friendly. I would highly recommend if looking for integrity & honesty.

I needed an electrician ASAP b/c I had some TV's getting installed and had to move some outlets. Deans got me on the calendar. Unfortunately, they had some unexpected emergencies with staff and couldn't make it at the original time. Their staff was so helpful and understanding of my dilemma with TV installers coming the next day, they rallied their team and had someone there the next morning to get it done. When they showed up, they were clean, professional and inexpensive. They turned what could have been a bad situation into a great commercial for customer service. Well done!!! Recommend! read more
