Very customer focused. They installed a 13.73kws system and the follow up is fantastic. The team consults with the client, walks though the permitting, works with power company and monitors the system. All at a great price that will pay for itself.

Installing rails on metal roof. I specified 3 rails for extra strength.

I had offers from 10 solar companies, had met with all of them and decided with no hesitation Affordable Solar Roof & Air was the company for me. If you're thinking about going solar Affordable Solar Roof & Air is the company to choose! We're very happy we signed a contract. It's been the first full month since my solar system went live and I am very happy. The company kept it's promise and my FPL electric bill fuel charge bill for July 2022 was $2.86! My son's roof was completed without issue. He is very happy. His solar system is not yet activated but will be in a few days. He also, is very happy. You can trust this company. My experience with Flo Energy was so negative that I would never consider doing business with them…read more I have a clearly posted "No Soliciting" sign, yet one salesperson repeatedly knocked on my door after I had already chosen not to answer. About an hour later, a second salesperson approached me while I was actively mowing my lawn. I told him multiple times that I was not interested, but he ignored me and continued with his sales pitch. He even stood directly in front of my lawn mower, preventing me from continuing my yard work. I had to repeatedly tell him I wasn't interested, remind him about local solicitation laws, and eventually tell him I would report him to the police if he refused to leave my property. Even after that, he continued talking. I finally resumed mowing, and he stood there watching me for nearly 10 minutes, which was incredibly uncomfortable and inappropriate. This wasn't persistent salesmanship, it was a complete disregard for clear boundaries and a homeowner's right to say "no." A "No Soliciting" sign should be respected, and when someone tells your representatives they are not interested, the conversation should end immediately. My suggestion to Flo Energy is simple: invest in better sales training, especially around respecting consent, personal boundaries, and knowing when to leave someone's property. Based on these interactions, I would never trust this company with my home or my business.

WATCH OUT!!! I signed a Lease Agreement with this company yesterday and formally got out of it in…read moreless than 24 hours. You have 10 days to terminate the Agreement in writing via email if you ever come into contact with this company too. So FLOEnergy is in bed with Palmetto Solar and the leasing agency GoLightReach. FLOEnergy sales reps knock on doors trying to sell Solar for these other overheads because they make a commission and get contracted to do the install/job as their third party workers. I was originally impressed by the FLOEnergy sales pitch (Representative was named Colby) but the horrified by the actual terms of the contract after carefully reviewing what I just signed. (I ashamed I signed anything in the first place). I was told they'd install the solar panels at no expense to me, their work was gaurenteed and insured and if anything happened to my panels or my roof they had my back for 25 years and I was locked in at an amazing 2.99% rate where they gaurenteed was a fair price per kw of my usage that would beat the big bad TECO energy company because of TECOs price per kw inflation history. Here's the thing, the value of the total panels was approx $35k but at the end of my 25 year agreement I'd be $70k in the hole because their 2.99% interest rate is COMPOUNDING. Plus I'd own nothing and THEY got to keep the tax rebate and the energy I was producing goes back to TECOs power grid where it does me zero good as the homeowner. If there's a power outage during a FL hurricane, I'd still be without power regardless of all my panels. What was most offensive was the yearly price break down where it seems all fine and dandy up front in year 1, but by year 25 your bill to them inflated by 100+% and you'd be paying the most at a point where the solar panels would be MOST DEGRADED! Doing a Solar Leasing Agreement is NOT the way to do Solar. Stay away from this company. If you want to do Solar, buy the $35k panels yourself, claim your 30% back energy rebate on it, the panels themselves have manufacturer warrantys as would whoever you paid to do the install itself. You'd out $24.5k and making your own energy with no energy bill to TECO aside the mandatory monthly hookup charge of $13. If I had kept my Agreement with FLOEneergy for $70k, they would have made more than $40k off me and I'd own nothing and my roof and performance of my panels would be at their mercy. STAY AWAYYY!!
