Be very careful before signing papers with this company. I made the mistake of doing this without reading the fine print. I came across some serious family issues and needed to cancel my plans of getting solar put on my house. It was also more than 10 days after when they said in the paper work they were going to have the construction done on my house. I hadn't had one thing done to my house by them at all. NOT ONE THING. They put a lien on my house and are insisting me to pay 5% of the contract amount. I asked them to take off my lien and they said no. I told them I would most likely be willing to take them to court and they said if I did that then they would change their request to the entire amount of the solar system. My solar was going to cost $50k so I now have to pay the 5% if I don't want to file a law suit on them which I will. That's $2500 for getting nothing from them. I've spoken to other solar companies and read through their paper work and not one other company I've seen holds their customers feet to the fire like this. I signed up two weeks ago process. It was very smooth. They sent guys out here and took a professional survey of my property.

This company has been difficult to deal with since day 1. First they told us we would have no power bill and the solar would save us money. Then they installed too many panels and the city of Ocala told them to remove 12 of them before they could be turned on. AcDC responded by ignoring the city and me for MONTHS. Only when the City of Ocala Electric Utility put a hold on all permits for ACDC did they finally remove the 12 extra panels. Since then our power bill has gone up every month for the past year. It is now over $500 a month Plus the cost of the panels and we have a roof leak. I contacted ACDC Solar on 9/6 /23 about the issues and that was 3 weeks ago. They have still done nothing to investigate or fix the problem. We should be producing 13000kw a year with our solar per PV Watts site but we have only gotten 3000kw total for the year. They also added a pool pump but installed it incorrectly and had to redo that as well. They take forever to respond and don't seem to take any complaints seriously. They just ignore you. Please do not use them. Find a reputable company that responds to their clients. I would give zero stars if I could read more

Yet another solar company who are nice when you first call them.( if they think you might pay for a total brand new install ) But, you tell them that you need a repair to your system and they assure you that they can help you and will. However soon time passes days, weeks, months and they do nothing. They do not even have the courtesy to get back with you and tell you that they are not interested in your business, nor do they do not return your calls, they do not answer emails and leave you hanging. Not even worthy one star but unfortunately there is no rating below one star. Very unprofessional behavior but it seems to be common behavior among so many solar companies.One would think in Florida of all places that you could get help for your much needed repairs. Terrible company and now they are bankrupt... Most likely will be out of business and will leave many customers fitting the bill for all the solar and roof repairs in the future. This has been the biggest mistake I've ever made. They only got 1star because I had no choice, but in reality.. -1,000,000 stars. They lied about never having another electric bill. Our bill has still been $200 average a month... It was $350 before the panels, you add the financing for the panels and all the extra insurance you have to carry, we're well over an additional $600/month vs our old electric bill of $350. read more
