My family & I went for glasses & contacts in November, my 6 year old daughter was going for her first exam ever & was very nervous & scared. The doctor (Dr. Jeffrey Troup) was very impersonal, he didn't even explain what he was doing before he did it. My daughter was shaking & very uncomfortable. It really doesn't take much to take the time to explain what you are doing, why you are doing it or to say ANYTHING at all to a young patient. When my husband & I had our exams, he really didn't speak at all to us either. Of we asked questions, very short answers given like yes or no. The ladies in the office are very kind & helpful. Really great ladies. However, when it came time to pick out glasses, that's where we ran into problems. They had a VERY SMALL children's selection to choose from. My husband had a hard time picking out glasses as well, he had a hard time finding a pair that would fit his head. I found glasses with ease BUT when I went to order my contacts, the trial pairs were not in stock. So I had to wait 1-2 weeks for that to come in. (I live an hour away so not a quick commute for me) After I picked up my trial pair & came in for my check up I was to pick out my colors for my contacts, something they were aware of. When I get there & start looking at the color chart they inform me that they no longer have those colors or the brand but instead have another so they pull the contacts out of the box, only to inform me that they don't have a good portion of the colors in stock to show me. So, I then had to wait an additional 2 weeks for the color samples to come in. Once I decided, I placed my order immediately. A little over 2 weeks later I haven't heard anything so I call in only to be told my contacts were on "back order" & wouldn't be in for another 2-4 weeks. Which I felt like was something they could have told me. Conclusion being, doctor is horrible with kids, very impersonable, they don't keep up with keeping the office stocked & if you're wanting quick results, this isn't your place. I went early November and I didn't end up being done with it all until January 13th. So about 2 & a half months.

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service at this office. The staff is ratchet, unprofessional, dismissive, and made no effort to communicate clearly or respectfully. She's now working to make things right. I just picked up my glasses, which had a lens pop out previously, and they're perfect now. The lenses were completely remade--no more thick, wrong, or poorly notched lenses, and they're securely fitted in the frame.
