I was on my way to WI from Indianapolis when my husband called to tell me I left my overnight bag at home. By that point, I was almost to Chicago (over 3 hours from home) and I had to be somewhere at a certain time for a paid weekend opportunity taking photos of murals in their town. My vision is terrible. And my contacts are supposed to be changed daily. I didn't even have my glasses. I left on a Friday and wouldn't be back until Sunday and usually after more than a day or wear, the contacts start to break down. I absolutely cannot see without them or my glasses and I was traveling alone. I happened by this spot while getting gas and popped in to see if by some chance they might have samples in my prescription and they did!!! They seriously saved me so much anxiety over the weekend and now I have several pairs to get me through if I need them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I waited 2 hrs for surgery and every follow up visit when I have to see the Dr is pretty bad, which I don't really understand since you only see him for a minute or two. I did give it 4 stars because the staff is good and the results were amazing. Another con is they reschedule almost all the time because the Dr is out of town, now I don't think it's the staff's fault since they can't dictate if he will return back on time but that does cause a bit of an inconvenience.

Whenever I saw him, I knew that I had his full attention and that he was not hurrying to see his next patient. In each of my visits with him, his staff was wonderful, kind, sincere and professional. For each of the two surgeries, the staff was great, again explaining everything and not hurrying and concerned that I not feel any discomfort. The staff asked a lot of questions and for each set of questions, two different staff members each asked the same questions which was comforting that they take such care to make sure that someone had not missed something important. And during the surgery for which I was anesthetized only to be relaxed, Dr. Futterman explained each step and made sure that I was not discomforted. He bestows a great gift, the ability to see. He cares about you as a person.
