Found Graham and his team here on yelp when I was in dire need of a wall repair job due to a roof leak last season in my unit on Mission Hill. Went through a bunch of other contractors to no avail, and was down to the wire with new tenants moving in. He came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate, far more reasonable than I had assumed it would be and also helped me to determine the scale of the project as I wasn't sure how bad the damage was. Graham and the team took on the project quickly head first, took down the damaged Sheetrock, bleached out the inside of the wall, put up new sheetrock, painted and re-did a damaged shelf unit on the kitchen side of the wall far better than I had even imagined it could be. stained the wood to match the rest of the kitchen on his own accord, making the kitchen look better than I dreamed. And, most importantly, kept the entire area clean as a whistle each time they worked. Respected all of my belongings in the work area and moved whatever was necessary to prevent it from getting damaged. On the bedroom side of the wall, quickly and cleanly repaired the wall and had no issue with repairing a few other problems areas we decided on midway through the project. Respected my roommate's belongings and even took the time to cover his bed and other belongings so they would not be damaged. Graham's everything a homeowner would want in a contractor: experienced, professional, straightforward, reasonable, respectful, and CLEAN. He has helped to shape my house from an apartment into a home. Easy to contact and responds quickly to text messages and emails, unlike most other contractors who have not entered the 21st century with the rest of us. Things came out so well that we decided to continue the project and work together in the future. Can't recommend Graham and his Vision Construction team enough to anyone with a home construction project big or small. read more

What makes Graham and his team special his down-to-earth, straightforward approach, a drive to exceed expectations, and an unwavering willingness to accommodate. Last month, I planned for a moderate set of renovations and updates for my Fenway condo: A fair amount of electrical rerouting and new lighting in all rooms, wall and ceiling work, bathroom updating (glazing tub, new vanity light, repaired water damage), installed ceiling fan, painting walls, buffing floors, refinishing heating pipes, tiling a worn-out section of the kitchen floor, cleaning up and repainting doors and molding... Nothing outright revolutionary, but rather a lot of important stuff, and stuff that matters to tenants. The main wrinkle: I was leaving town and needed to trust him with the workstream. No problemo: From our first meeting, it was clear that Graham was an honest, direct consultant who really got where I was coming from with the level of work I needed (high quality, wide-appealing finishes, done efficiently and economically). He gave me regular updates complete with real-time photos sent as the work was being finished. We talked regularly about how to improve the space yet further. He gave honest assessments, wasn't pushy whatsoever, and for some of the additional work he didn't even charge extra. (Example: The bathtub needed extra attention to ensure a good seal. He wen the extra mile to make sure this happened, even though it wasn't in the original workplan.) I was in town by chance and saw his work. It's like a whole new condo! Makes me want to move back... And also makes me want to take on more substantial renovations to really overhaul the space. But that will be for another season. And no doubt, I'll be reaching out to Graham. read more

After a frustrating experience with several other contractors this past Winter/Spring, Graham was like a breath of fresh air! Incredibly thorough, diligent and trustworthy, it's a pleasure to be able to recommend him with flying colors. Within a week of his estimate, he completed a beautiful tile backsplash, even going so far as to make certain the tiles (sold in packages with a wide variety of marbled patterns) were ideally matched, which required numerous trips to hunt them down locally! He also took care of many small projects with ease and always went the extra mile to make sure that his client was pleased with the outcome. He does respond quickly and because he recognizes that it can be nearly impossible to predict exactly how long a certain job will take, he keeps you in the loop as to his whereabouts when he is coming from another job to yours. This means he's not short-changing one job in favor of another, but instead being honest and transparent with ALL of his clients. Who could ask for anything more? Graham is a rare breed in this day and age. Snap him up while you can--he's definitely our contractor for life! read more

I found Graham on Yelp when I was looking for a contractor to repair a leak in my condo ceiling. As most I was concerned with just picking a contractor from the internet, without a personal recommendation. But Graham had great review on Yelp and he did not diappoint. Graham, unlike other contractors showed up on time to give an estimate of the repairs. Graham's estimate seemed very resonable so we went with him. Graham and his worker Tim showed up when he said he would and although this small job stretched over several weeks due to scheduling conflicts with both Graham and I, he showed up when he said he would. Graham took his shoes off when he entered the house and cleaned up every night after he was done. When I asked Graham to come back and touch up an area that was a little rough, he did so without complaint and completed the repair quickly. Graham is a very friend guy and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good and honest contractor. read more

What a pleasure it is to work with such a competent and reliable contractor! Graham Keane and his team are truly professionals! We found Graham on Yelp and hired him to redo our bathroom. It all started with a water leak in the ceiling causing extensive damage to the drywall. What we ended up with is a beautiful new bathroom! He assisted us with design, tile selection and flooring. He is a joy to work with and communicates with you every step of the way, ensuring you are happy with the progress and workmanship. And they clean up after themselves everyday! 6 months later, we notice the ceiling in the kitchen is wet and molding. What to do now? Call Graham! He responded immediately and had the plumber over the next day. One week later, the leak is repaired, drywall replaced and my kitchen is newly painted. No job is too small for him. He really takes care of his customers! Would I recommend Vision Construction? Absolutely! Ann Boston read more

I had a large room that I wanted to convert back to two bedrooms. One of the contractors I contacted was Graham and I'm very happy I ended up going with him. His prices were not only very good, but Graham showed up when he said he would and finished the work earlier than what he said he would. In top of it all, before he left I asked him for some help replacing a door knob I wanted to match to another. Something I was planning on doing myself but ended up asking him thinking he would add to what he was charging me and he ended up replacing the two door knobs and didn't charge me extra for it at all. And it didn't end there...about two weeks later I had another thing that I wanted to repair and of course I called Graham and he actually told me how I could do it myself. Another in his place would have charged me good amount of money for work that didn't even cost me $10 to do myself. read more

Graham and his team rock. I've worked with Graham for half a decade now, but recently I challenged them to deliver to a very aggressive time sensitive schedule in my property that was going to be occupied by new tenants...the project couldn't be late! They did a great job converting our ugly drop ceilings to beautiful while plaster with recessed lighting across 5 rooms on our first floor. Team is super clean in their work for this very messy job. Graham delivered the project 1 day (20%) ahead of schedule and at the estimated cost. Graham communicated very well daily on project status...even showing pictures by cell phone on progress while I was at work...this is a fabulous touch and helps reduce stress of home construction in your house while you cannot be there. Graham is a great partner to work with, high integrity and trust...he takes care of his customers and is ALWAYS honest. read more

H. Weiner I cannot remember how I found Graham. I simply want to recommend his work in the highest possible of terms--for his knowledge of his work. And for his quickness, neatness, and the absolutely wonderful results. Additionally, he cares to respond when something is an emergency, early or late--doing the job in an unparalleled expert, complete and timely fashion-- whether it is something for him alone, or something for him and his superb crew. Graham's work is expert. He has a vast knowledge of everything related to construction--which may bear on the particular job at hand. And his manner is courteous and professional, as one too infrequently encounters these days. I recommend him, again, most highly. read more

I just had work done by a local contractor from the Allston area of Boston. I am so satisfied with the quality of work done at such a reasonable price that I wanted to spread the work about this young Irishman and the professionalism that he and his company exhibit. I came home from work on the day we had agreed to comlete the work. I didn't believe that he had shown up. Not a telltale sign of any work, no sawdust or building materials present. I asked my wife "Did the guy show up?" Her answer was "yes" "Go and look for yourself". The quality of the work was great. The cleanup was very impressive and the price was the lowest of three contractors who gave me a quote. This is a bargain. read more

We started working with Graham about 3 years ago now after finding him off the internet. And what a find he was because since then we have used him to do three re-modelling jobs and have recommended him to friends as well. Our biggest fear with working with contractors was them disappearing for days on end. Graham did what he said he was going to do and when he said he was going to do it. He is very reliable and enjoyable to work with, making accommodations for changes along the way. There are no surprises and he will always work with you to fit the work within your budget. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. read more

Over the past 6 months or so, Graham and his people have done all kinds of jobs for us, including painting, cabinetry work, appliance installation, even plumbing stuff. Graham is a lovely guy, really warm and friendly, reliable, reasonable and takes obvious pride in doing a good job and in coming up with solutions to your requests. Not only is his actual work really great, but he's pretty unusual in that he's super nice to have around - which counts for something when someone is working for days at a time in your home! I recommend him HIGHLY to you all! read more

Graham has been great to work with, and we're not done yet! He's really enthusiastic about whatever you want to do, and is very flexible. Most importantly, besides the great work that he does and the fair prices, is that he gets back to you ASAP, goes out of his way to accommodate you, and is 100%+ trustworthy in your home. I left Graham keys to use to let himself in and out and I felt totally comfortable doing that. I highly recommend Vision Construction. read more

I read the other reviews saying that Graham saved them and was a "hero". I am in total agreement but I would like to add professional and respectful of our home. We had water damage in our house and we needed someone to come in and manage many aspects of the job and he did it with ease. The quality was amazing. Thank you isn't enough! read more
