The employees are helpful, and the store itself is clean. Something to be aware of, the line to checkout can be very long and hectic. Especially on weekends and during peak hours. If you're looking for a delightful Japanese meal, snack, or quality ingredients to whip up something magical, this is your place!

The second time, the fall was again because the floor was wet from a water drip while an employee was stacking food in the upright freezer. The fall was worse; my right leg became stiff, and I could not move. Asked the employee to call 911, who came and helped me walk to my car. HERE ARE SOME SAFETY SUGGESTIONS FOR THE CUSTOMERS. 1. Watch out for any dampness on the floor; alert the staff to mop the area. This store does not seem to have adequate staff to constantly monitor safety issues and take immediate "Corrective Action". If they do, they huddle around the office area. 2. Avoid baskets and use only shopping carts. The cart will provide support against any potential slips. Do not leave carts unattended. 3. Don't keep the upright freezer open too long. This will minimize condensation, maintain the require temprature range, and help food shelf life. You need to exercise your civic awareness. 4. Be very careful around the Produce Section. This is one area prone to having a wet floor. 5. Don't instinctively lift a fallen person unless he or she asks you to help. Let a professional Paramedic (911) handle it. 6. I will bring it to the attention of the City of Houston to request to carry out a diligent inspection.

Unfortunately, this type of rice paper is available at every asian market so I'm happy Tan Binh has them. They also have a nice section dedicated to ready-to-eat and hot foods. You can grab and go with options like fried fish, tofu, and cooked meats. Customer service is usually pretty friendly. Just like anywhere else, you should check the expiration date of every product before buying. My cousin forgot to do so and bought two boxes of solar dried bananas that were expired. And during the warmer seasons, they set up a nice plant and herb section for sale right outside the entrance.

Cô nạt mình nói là em không ăn được nhưng người khác ăn được thì sao? Phải coi hư như thế nào chứ đợi đi, return chỗ nào cũng phải đợi hết. Trong khi mình hoàn toàn không có ý hối thúc gì cô hết. Cô nói mình không ăn được người khác ăn được, chẳng lẽ cô muốn bỏ lại bán cho người sau hay sao? Chợ đã return lại cho mình $35 nhưng thái độ của 1 chủ chợ khi bán đồ hư cho khách đã không 1 lời xin lỗi còn bực dọc như vậy với khách là đúng hay sai? Whenever I'm nearby, I like stopping in to pick up vegetables and check out the large clearance section, where you can sometimes find some great deals. Like other 99 Ranch locations, this store has a huge variety of Asian groceries, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese snacks, sauces, seafood, produce, frozen foods, and pantry items. I usually frequent the 99 Ranch on I-10 and Bunker Hill, but this Westchase location has a very similar layout and selection. Inside, there's also a bakery with fresh buns and pastries, plus a small dining area where you can order combo plates with different meat and vegetable options. The shopping center itself is also convenient since it shares space with other popular businesses like Lady M and Paris Baguette. I also noticed a Daiso location coming soon, which should make this plaza even better for Asian shopping. Another nice feature is the rewards program. You can sign up with your phone number, scan your card during purchases, earn points, and redeem them for discounts later. Overall, this is a great one-stop shop for Asian groceries, snacks, and pastries in the Westchase area. I highly recommend it.

I was locked outside and another was locked inside trying to get out. We both stood there on opposite sides of the glass door in confusion until a short Hispanic male worker manually opened it from within. Tells me "No Mo" while shaking his head and waving his hands around to indicate they're closed. Showed him the time on my phone and he couldn't have cared less. Told him about the hours and uncovered he didn't speak a lick of English. I looked for security and none was nearby and clearly saw people still inside and some checking out. The next customer he let out, I walked right in and straight to the cashier while he kept saying, "EH NO MO!" I asked who the manager is and informed the pretty Spanish lady what he was doing. She confirmed store is still open and to go right ahead. I quickly grabbed my drinks and was checked out like everyone else. She apologized for his actions, and I thanked her for the great service. Was very disturbed by this encounter and odd how he's trying to shut store down before closing. I only spend 10 bucks but he's costing money to be lost from every customer he denies entry. I knew he was up to something shady, so I took his photo to warn others. I never had an issue with any 99 Ranch stores until that night. Really hope management will get on track to resolve this issue. Highly inappropriate to deny us entry during store hours just so he can bail early.

It's close to Costco and H-Mart, and near H-Mart you'll also find Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours. There's an 85°C nearby as well and with Costco right next door, you could easily spend half a day hopping between all these places. On weekends, traffic can be pretty crazy and parking isn't easy since everyone shops then. However, if you come on a weekday especially outside of lunchtime--it's much easier to find a parking spot. Inside 99 Ranch, there's a food court with options like San dong noodles, dim sum, stir-fry dishes, and Chinese barbecue. On the other side of the plaza, there are also several restaurants, including Korean spots and Vietnamese crawfish places. As for the store itself, there are always clearance items near the Kung Fu Tea area, which we usually check out before heading in to shop for fruits, produce, vegetables--pretty much everything. I found my favorite Japanese soy milk but this was banana flavored. Way too sweet for me and it was $4/carton. It's a large store and they offer a loyalty program. If it's your first time visiting 99 Ranch, you could easily spend an hour just roaming the aisles. There's so much to see--it almost feels like a little field trip every time we go.
