I don't get it. I know people who love TJ's, but it's not my type of place. The parking lot was crazy busy, so people must love it, but I don't. I'm not sure I understand the concept. I thought it was a bargain place, but the wine selection seems to be the same price I find at Tres Market. They have a frozen food section, a flower section, loads of wine, chips, and much more. They pack a lot into their tiny grocery store. I didn't recognize most of the brands. I'm not a fan of mass produced items, but I had never heard of some of these. Multiple store associates walked past me without even an attempt to assist. They barely made eye contact. I think I expected something different than what I encountered. Sorry TJ's. It's just not my bag.

Weekly Tj's trips in this house is a MUST! Our cart almost always includes l pork dumplings, soup dumplings, mushroom raviolis, dried spicy mango, ghost pepper chips and of course their orange chicken! Then there are the seasonal items. You always gotta try it all!

It's not the fanciest TJ's in town (#1), but I still love it all the same. What I appreciate from this location is the fact I can get most of what I want with no inventory issues, which is more than I can say about the sister spots. In addition to the usual gaggle of things I normally get, I think their flower selection and seasonal items are also better, which is a big plus. The dedicated parking lot is standard for all TJ's and during their busiest weekends, the area can be a bit tight. I appreciate the superb customer service, which has to be expected at most locations, but they do practice what they preach here. Despite what I noted about the parking, the place never feels too crowded. The store is clean, things are easy to find, and generally things are available. This has all the traditional feels of the average supermarket experience and they do that well. Produce is on point, the frozen section is stacked, and the wines are abundant. It seems silly to enjoy what would otherwise be a standard TJ experience, but the consistency is part of the draw. After all, good prices and outstanding customer service usually results in a quality shopping experience. And that alone is what keeps bringing me back. _________ (#1) That one would be the one in Upper Kirby: https://www.yelp.com/biz/trader-joes-houston

I'm not sure that my kids would eat away from home if they didn't have a Trader Joe's near where they live. This is their go to grocery store. When they are home, it is also mine. I've gone so many times, I almost have their list of favorites memorized. Peanut udon noodles Veggie gyoza Spicy ramen Apple walnut salad Young coconut smoothies Pizza dough Mint tea Dark chocolate peanut butter cups (which are amazing!) Cookie butter Unexpected cheddar Everything but the bagel seasoning Soy chorizo Silver dollar pancakes Hold the cone ice cream cones And then just regular staples like bananas, kale, bok choy, eggs, sweet potatoes, tortillas, pasta and cans of garbanzo and Northern white beans. For me, it is a great place to pick up a bouquet of flowers or an orchid for my staff. Whatever the reason, Trader Joe's is a great grocery adventure.

Always refreshing to visit Trader Joe's for Groceries! I make sure to grab everything important and delicious from there as per my needs. Service is great, food selection is awesome and very fresh. Miss the coffee samples that were served pre Covid era. My only issue is that @traderjoes should open in Fortbend County-- Sugarland/ Missouri City area as going 40 mins for a grocery takes a toll especially during summers when things can get bad fast! We would love to have them here and make them feel welcome and wanted !! I got few new things today, especially the Amareena Cherry goat cheese, Tirokafteri Greek cheese spread. pappadum chips, mini banana bread biscotti-- I still miss their seasonal cranberry biscotti, that they have stopped. Also found a new salmon rub spice, Italian poppyseed dressing; besides of course other repeats. Loved the fresh flowers of all seasonal varieties & couldn't stop myself from grabbing tulip bunches & beautify roses, sunflowers, hydrangeas, & they were at a good price. But orchids were around but priced closed to $20, which in the past were between $10-12. Post Covid they also stopped letting customers return anything that wasn't liked or approved by them. Nor can we taste things in general as was the special point of this grocer. So most customers have to be sure of the outcome of some new items. Despite that we love Trader Joes & their specialty products! Always well organized & clean. Just let us have one in Fortbend area!

Super friendly cashier. Lots of neat food items and all reasonably priced loved it. Was happy with my first purchase and experience there.

I'm a fan of Trader Joe's and happily went to this one with my DH looking for his staple: cold pressed red juice for $3.99. He firmly believes in beets for helping to keep his blood pressure in line. Unfortunately, on this day, the one item we came to buy was sadly out and they didn't have any on the shelves. We even asked a team member to check for us in the back. Sold out. We left empty handed. This store is spacious and has ample parking.

I have to admit I was skeptical about getting fresh fruits and vegetables from this location but as someone who loves to eat out I can really appreciate the quality Trader Joe's has at this location. At the entrance they have a greeter making sure everyone uses hand sanitizer. Thanks TJ . We are still in a pandemic right? To the right we see beautiful flowers for all occasions and prices that are also quite pleasing. As we ventured to the veggies we loaded up our cart with fresh basil still in the pot that smelled as amazing as it looked. Note to self: buy more for caprese salad at home. Their selection of spices . Tahini, organic sweetened condensed milk and organic heavy crepe to make homemade ice cream was exactly what I needed. Thank you to Sam for excellent customer service as we checked out and we willl definitely be back. They have lots of free parking and if you come early can usually miss the crowds.

What to do when waiting for your kid. Didn't need anything. But came out with a bunch of junk food. My heart is already racing just looking at it. Nom nom nom.

Friendly service!!! Great prices on beautifully kept flowers that greet you at the entrance. Fruit, vegetables, meat, bread (gluten-free included), drinks of all kinds, fresh and frozen items. Love the free sample of the day that they let you try. I usually end up buying it.

All I want to know is why why why is a Trader Joe's not in Cypress! I would shop there several times a week. I stopped by the Trader Joe's on Voss Rd. First thing I saw was some beautiful flowers. And the prices were fantastic. The wine selection at TJ's is quite extensive. I picked up some fruit, veggies, cereal bars, gyoza dumplings and a few more items. It was very busy in there for being the middle of the day. That's a great sign. I wish one was closer to me!! Build one in Cypress!!!!

The parking was a bit of a challenge, but it was easy enough because it was a calm Tuesday morning. To get from the parking area to the store, you just take the elevator one level down, and then you're right inside. This place is surprisingly big, filled with all kinds of snacks, cookies, and coffee. The highlight for me was their shawarma breakfast wrap. It was top-notch and exactly what I needed. You choose between whole wheat or white pita, and it's filled with scrambled eggs, your choice of fresh or sautéed spinach, and they add potatoes as well. Then they top it with shawarma chicken, tomato, and a delicious sauce. For $8.5 it was worth every bite. Hands down, a five out of five. I also tried their coffee, which was just a standard brew sitting in ice for hours and nothing special. At $2.50, it was fine, but nothing to write home about. The real stars were the cookies. I got a coconut pecan cookie and an almond crunch cookie, and both were absolutely delicious. I didn't have time to explore the whole store, but there was a great selection of fresh produce, chocolates, and all sorts of small treats. Overall, the staff were really friendly, and the entire visit was smooth. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area. Five out of five stars!

I know it seems backwards, but you're way less likely to get approached by someone asking you to buy them something. For the record, the store doesn't feel unsafe--homeless unsafe--but sometimes, you just want to grab your groceries in peace. Now, something that never fails to annoy me: one of the entrance doors is always locked. Every time. So you're forced to walk around to the main entrance. Minor, but annoying. Thankfully, the elevators from the garage always work, so silver lining there if you park downstairs. Today I was reminded of another classic Randall's feature: the smell. I stopped in on my bike to grab some veggies and, like clockwork, was hit with that signature aroma, somewhere between a porta-potty and a city park at noon in July. I think it was coming from outside this time... but I've definitely caught a whiff inside before too. Is it overpriced? Yes. Is it so conveniently located that I keep coming back anyway? Also yes. To be fair, the prepared food section and the bread game are on point. If carbs are a love language, this place is fluent. Bonus points: they've added EV charging for our green-driving friends. But I think they shrank some of the parking spots. I watched a jacked-up truck on stilts struggle to park in a handicap space. Waiting for the driver to hop out onto the hood of the next car over.

Couldn't go back because the entire city was frozen over for two days. At this point, I just accepted my fate. Maybe they were overwhelmed that day. Maybe it was just bad timing. Here's what I love about Central Market: the produce, salads, sandwiches, meats, seafood, wine, cereal, yogurts, bread, coffee, ice cream, spices - actually pretty much everything. Even their flowers are incredible. Now here are some pro tips; listen carefully: - if you want the real, full CM experience, go on a Saturday or Sunday. You'll feel like you're at Costco waiting in line for samples and trying to push your cart without running someone over. But if you want a quiet, peaceful experience, go on a weekday during the day. You can save 20-30% each shopping trip with their offers and coupons. Make sure you add the deals in your app before you go to check out. (This part is a little annoying.) - ice cream section: buy the Hellenika Ube coconut. Just do it. Taste it and you can thank me later. It will change your life. If you want to overpay for it, fly to Seattle and find it at Pike Place Market. - stop buying spices like peppercorn and coriander seeds in bulk that are stored in bottles and jars. Go to Central Market and just buy exactly what you need for your recipe. You'll spend 24 cents for this and 58 cents for that, etc. Not $5 for a jar of spices that will lose its flavor or expire after a year. And the big question everyone asks: Central Market or Whole Foods? Whole Foods has way more locations, but CM takes the cake. It's just amazing. Trust me.
