I really like this Aldi. I think the only issue, across most Aldi locations, is that there are several registers but usually only one person working them. For someone with just a couple of items, standing behind a full cart isn't ideal. Other than that small complaint, this location is great. It's easy to find everything you need, and the shelves are always well-stocked. I never have to worry about them running out of items. read more

I'm really really behind when it comes to the Aldi train. I think I might have went in once with my Father but left because they didn't have grocery bags. This was years ago. Since then I never bothered to go because I assumed (you know what they say about assumptions) that their products were subpar and that they didn't have many products in store. I have to say that this grocery store is quite lovely with fresh produce, frozen and refrigerated items as well as dry items. It is pretty cool as they just seem to offer every product in your traditional grocery store with different brand names. I would agree that the ingredients would be the same. I did scale back as I wanted to buy items that I didn't need just because of the prices and only chose a few things that I needed. Very clean and smelled pleasant. read more

Some call it Aldi, but I call it magic city baby! This Aldi never does me wrong, and I've been going to this location since it opened many years ago (sorry Walmart across the street, you've been replaced). The Aldi brand is something I've supported since I was in Europe. Originally from Germany, the store brings great prices to you in quality products. In Europe these stores are HUGE, so I'm happy to see them flourish in the lone star state. When you go to an Aldi, its important for you to bring your own bags (they sell some as well), and bring a quarter, you'll need it to rent a cart, don't worry buddy, you'll get it back. Aldi has many products that are their own brand, every now and then they may have shelves stocked with merchandise you may recognize, but Aldi is all about their own stuff. There are delicious veggies, frozen foods, wine, chocolates, cheeses, meat, you name it and they have it. The store is smaller, but packed with savings! The locations are honestly beautiful and they remind me of Germany so much. This location is usually clean, and the staff is descent. Pro Tip - get yourself some cheap wine or chocolates - they are delicious and worthy of a European's approval. Check it out! read more

Poor customer service! Reported a rude employee to District manager and nothing was done. I am a disabled Veteran and parked my car in a online parking space for easy access because no handicap space was available, shortly after I was approached by a black female,black wig,,"5,5",180lbs,employee banging on my window and demanding I remove my car immediately and threatening to call law enforcement and loudly screaming ,"You are a loser". Aldi is not my usual supermarket. I tend to go to either Randalls or HEB as they are closer to home than any Aldi location. I happened to be in the vicinity of this Aldi location this past weekend so I decided to check it out. The supermarket was not completely done so I had to park at the back and entered from the side. Also I had to deposit a quarter to get a shopping cart. In addition, I needed by reusable shopping bags as Aldi did not hand out shopping bags for free. Looking at their sales ad, I saw good prices on shiner , salmon burgers, ribs and a few other things. I was able to get everything but ribs as they were out. I think you can save a few bucks buying your grocery here but the selection here are not as good as HEB or even Randalls read more

Aldi's has good cheese and some good frozen foods. Their produce is very limited. I shopped there mostly for their gluten free items brand Live G Free. But they stopped carrying the gluten free brand items they told me and I bought what they had at close out for half price or less. I don't plan to go back as the gluten free was the big draw for me. But over all this small store has value and it is great not to have to walk so much as you do is stores such as HEB or Kroger where there are aisle and aisles of unhealthy chips and carbonated drinks. The parking is ample and never full. read more

The selection they have is nowhere what you will get at HEB or other stores, mainly all their own house brands but if that does not bother you you will be in for a treat. Their prices are so much better than other stores here in Houston and even though you most likely have never heard or tried their house brands that are fantastic. In many cases they are better than name brand products of the same item.You have to, if you want to use a cart pay a quarter for it but you do get it back when you return the cart. You also pay I think like 6 cents per bag and have to bag your own items but their bags are pretty sturdy and as long as you bring them back next time you go there you'll never have to buy them again until they give out. Oh, BTW they only take cash or debit cards. If you plan on using a credit card you'll need a plan B. read more

this store gives me a similar vibe to Auchan. They save money by having less employees, not accepting credit cards, and selling their own brand (with the exception of a few items like Dove). Credit card processing fees are expensive. By only accepting cash, debit and EBT cards, it helps keep their prices low. which in turn saved the customer money. Who can complain? They have organic brands for a cheaper price compared to heb or kroger. I love that I can find most things here. Fruits and veggies are fresh. Milk comes from their "friendly farms". AND they have an assortment of Gluten free items!! Hooray!!! I hope aldi doesn't go away because I save a lot of money shopping here. read more

The store has gotten better in my personal opinion. Still not enough people to communicate should an item you're looking for... is hard to find in the store. My grocery bills is getting lower!! I usually go to HEB or Kroger and always end up spending well above $100. But ever since I start going ALDI, my bill always stays under $80. They don't carry well-known brands but what they carry are just as good or sometimes even better. Today I bought 4 dozens of eggs for 99cents each dozen and nobody can't beat that price. And 10lb bag of russet potatos for $1.29? This is just unbelievable. And I like the concept that they don't give any plastic bags. Very environmental! I wish they have more locations but don't mind driving if I can save extra dollars. read more

I love Aldi. While I will admit, I generally have to make a trip to Kroger or HEB to supplement some of the items that Aldi does not carry, this is my preferred grocery store. The prices are so low, they're worth driving a little bit further for. Remember to bring your own bags and a quarter for your cart, though! read more

First time here. Best place ever! They have the best and most delicious canned salmon, frozen fruits for smoothies, whole organic milk, eggs, avocados for less than .40 cents each, fresh spinach for $2.50 a big plastic container full, fresh breads, snacks, ice cream, pasta, Mexican food. I will no longer shop at Aldi's on Hwy 6 even though it is the closest store to my home. We receive our food ads on Wednesday evenings along with our mail. On THREE occasions, I have gone into Aldi's to buy something featured in the ad on Thursday morning and they were already out of it. What a waste of time and gas! When I asked what the problem was, the woman told me only a certain amount of those sale items are allocated to each store. (In Texas, we call that "bait-and-switch)". Well, if you want to survive in a HUGE city like Houston and it's suburbs, you have got to do better. You cannot put items in your ad, expect people to come hours after the ad comes to their door and be out of the items, and expect you will have return business. I don't even look at the ad anymore. I refuse to give them my business. I'll take the time and spend the money driving to a grocery store that can fill my order, thank you. read more
