I ordered two acai bowls and was glad when she agreed to swap out one of the toppings since my mom is allergic to strawberries. The highlight of my experience was my interaction with the owner's mom, who explained that she was filling in for one of her daughters while handing me my order. Her friendly demeanor made the experience more enjoyable. While I wanted to give a 3-star review, I decided to bump it up to 4 stars because I admire their commitment to promoting good health. However, this review is really a 3-star review because despite following the recommended instructions to freeze the bowls first for 10 mins before eating, the texture of the Acai bowls had both an icy and watery texture. It lacked the creamy consistency that I usually look for in a good acai bowl. Additionally, the toppings were sparse. I felt like I only got a teaspoon of granola.
