From the day that I originally purchased the safe so many years ago to having it delivered today, the Visalia Safe company has shown exceptional professionalism, outstanding products and loads of customer service the likes of which are rarely seen these days. While I'll mention just a few names here, I know the entire company deserves similar credit and recognition. Shannon provided great customer service from arranging storage and remodeling of my safe to delivery. We worked on the design and it was executed as planned. Diego and Neo both showed the experience and skill in moving something bulky and heavy into exactly where it needed to be positioned. I was concerned about how they were going to deliver and position the safe as I thought it was going to be a challenge, however, they made it look easy. They took care in ensuring there was no damage of flooring and other structures. I should also mention that trailer they used is an amazing piece of engineering and machinery-and you have to see it in action to appreciate why I mention the trailer here. At Visalia Safes I was greeted by Shannon, knowledgeable and pleasant, who answered all my questions and gave me a tour of the factory. I ordered a custom size and had many lock and color options to choose from. Price was reasonable, comparable to major online sellers but I think VS steel is thicker and no gaps. Very strong. I have purchased two safes from Visalia Safe. First one is still performing great. I had the second his and hers safe was custom built and shipped across the US to my home in Atlanta. From day one I have had issues with one of the locks and both handles had plating peeling off. I asked for replacement handles and a lock and have yet to receive any support. It is too bad that I can't do a negative 10 star rating! If you are in the market for a high end safe STAY AWAY FROM VISALIA SAFE!!!!!! Now to clarify: The safe I bought a couple years ago is amazing, however the follow through, and customer service is the worst in any transaction I have ever had, ANYWHERE! They sold the safe I put a deposit on to begin with but they made it right.The delivery of the safe initially was problematic, but we got through that an Jen made it right at the time. With this said I was still happy with the company. Then after they left a close family friend I referred to them high and dry for hours on end I was starting to see a series of problems. Long story short Jen refused to stand behind an agreement that has already had 2/3 of payment received. I am stuck high and dry with a big ass safe I have to pay to move,again. I am not the first or only person to have problems with the customer service of this company but please take my warning, Spend your money with Kodiac or Sturdy, the safes are very comparable but I doubt any other company has as horrible of customer service as Visalia Safe. I bought my first safe from Visalia safes 6 years ago. Jen was the one who handled my order and the customer service was excellent. When my safe was completed and delivered it had some construction issues. Jen was adamant about making them right and also told me if I ever needed another safe, she would take care of me. I've outgrown my safe and and was in need of another one and wanted them to match so I wanted to give Visalia safes a second chance. I spoke with Shannon and explained my previous experience. Shannon assured me they would take care of me. Shannon called with any questions regarding details during the construction of my safe. The customer service was once again excellent. I just received my safe and was completely satisfied with the product. It was packaged and protected extremely well for delivery. All details were addressed and the craftsmanship was great. I baught my safe from them about 15 years ago and the customer service was great,now it sucks.I thought I had lost the handle to my safe,so I called visalia safe to get a replacement they jerked me around for almost 6 months billed my credit card twice and sent me a handle with no key in it. read more

Terrible experience. I have a Visalia Safe and needed it moved. You cannot get a hold of a human being. They have moved which is not on their website. I finally found them but no one is ever in the office. Leave a message and no one calls you back. I guess they don't need anyone's business. I would never recommend them to anyone. read more
