We had the pleasure of visiting a delicious Seafood/Fish restaurant for lunch. Initially, I was apprehensive in making reservations, because I found it hard to believe there was a quality fish/seafood restaurant in the center of Haarlem, but low and behold it was to my surprise!
However, to my surprise they definitely met our expectations. Pro, the restaurant aesthetically is very nice, cozy, and comfortable place to dine for a lovely lunch, or dinner, or book for a special occasion. The food tasted delicious.
Although, the pumpkin tempura starter was the only one I would suggest to pass on, and explore the other starters instead. Everything tasted delicious, but the fried tempura starter. The only con about the restaurant, one of our meals were brought out late. I am assuming the fish need to be defrost or something, because the restaurant was definitely not a pack house at that earlier hour in the day. Nevertheless, it was still a nice experience. I would definitely visit them again before they start getting very popular because they just opened not too long ago.
The server was friendly, pleasant, polite and professional. Prices are more then reasonable. It's definitely a winner and has a lot of potential. I think it's a great contribution to Haarlem dining out experience. I would just encourage to be more synchronized with presenting the meals at the same time instead of late. Nevertheless, this is a great restaurant to visit for Date night, a special occasion such as Valentine's Day or with a small group of friends, just make sure to make reservations, so you don't miss out.
