Yes, it's hard to get appts but if you call, take what you can and go on the cancellation list it works ... But make sure you make appts immediately upon learning date of your procedure. It's kind of a game but once you get in the groove it works most of the time. I can't take meds due to other medical issues and Dr Sabia takes that into consideration . He tries so hard for me and I trust him. Sabia is kind, caring and knowledgeable.. I know it's hard to be in pain but remember we all are and there are many waiting for relief. If you try to get a follow up with him, he schedules an in-office appointment at 6 a.m., which means there is no effort on his part to realistically provide health care services to the people who are sent to him to get those services. He also was deceptive about what was supposed to be accomplished with the one procedure he did on me. I was under the impression it was a procedure to alleviate pain, but he then claimed it was to test to see if future procedures (the ones he never followed up with) would work. I can't believe I waited 7 months for an appointment to end up being merely an income opportunity. Terrible, incompetent doctor.

No other patients are stealing their time. I felt that their additional testing and evaluation for balance or vestibular issues was good, and I did notice improvement after working with them. I decided to move on to another PT because I hit my ceiling with this group quickly. Being a senior who over the years had been disheartened with every place I went to for PT, Strive…read morewas the very first place where I felt I was thoroughly examined for my capabilities at that time, listened to, and given what I needed both physically and mentally. I had worked out since I was a teen to manage chronic pain, fibromyalgia, muscle spasms and nerve damage. I was told after a long and extensive open abdominal surgery, that I should never exercise again for the rest of my life, except for walking or risk an abdominal hernia. Thankfully my PCP gave me a script for PT and I made an appointment with Strive after explaining my history and questioning them if they could help design a safe workout for me. I am so grateful to Strive and especially Ryan Ackerman who also took the time to reach out to my surgeon's office. Ryan addressed every question and concern I had and he gave me the workout I needed to bring back my energy, improve my sleep and most of all the exercises to bring down my pain levels and manage it again without the need to increase pain medications which has always been a fear of mine that that could happen.
