I have been going to Dr. John Park for about 8 yrs. He has helped me get out of the tremendous pain…read moreI was in. He worked with me whether it was pain meds or a shot in my neck (spine). I have been treated very respectfully by all of the physicians and staff there. However recently the office combined with another company and I am saddened because I no longer see Dr. Park listed as in network for my insurance. I hope it's a mistake and I can continue with seeing him.

Well it seems that Michelle (at the front desk - telephone girl) although not being the Office Mgr…read more as she proclaimed to be; has some influence on Dr. John Park. The infamous phone call took place at 09:30 hrs on Monday and my mail guy had a CERTIFIED letter on him by Tues. a.m. Wish I could get my other mail delivered so promptly. The letter said: DISCHARGE INSTRUCTIONS Good old Dr. John Park (as you will see in the attachment) after hearing only Michelle (sign in girl...that will be 20 for today.......cash or charge.......phones etc. Boy, she certainly sounds important folks..if she's still there) side of the story; put together this gracious letter after my traveling down there for about 6 years. I was not there every month. In fact I was only there every THREE MONTHS (sometimes 2 months). I guess he has a good golf game or God forbid, he was breaking any medical practice law. In all those years, never did I even remove my shirt or have my mobility checked etc. It's always the same: 1. Step on the scale 2. How's those pills working for you? 3. What is your pain today on a scale of 1 - 10. Then the man himself comes in and tells me to come back in 3 months and I was "thankful" thinking, "what a guy" to save me that long drive every month. BUT, that was before Michelle, at the front desk, got involved and now I have been advised to WEAN myself off what started at 60 mg. of Opana/Oxymorphone and VICODIN/hydrocodone 4 breakthrough pills of 10-325 every day down to ZERO in only 20 days. Wish me luck with THAT. So, I guess if there is a method to my madness it is to WARN YOU and make sure you suck up to Michelle (at the front desk/window) or better....MUCH BETTER...find someone else cause after 6 years....look at the hand they dealt me. I love at the end of the letter Dr. Park says "I wish you luck in finding another pain physician"..sorta like when your friend laughs at you and says "yeah, good f......g luck with that , dude"

On May 17th, I was transported via ambulance to Marlton Virtua Hospital. Jeremiah and Morgan were…read morethe EMTS or Paramedics. I was not well so I am not sure their title . They were terrific. I was scared and sick. When they came to my house,my pup was barking with all the visitors. They didn't blink and he is a big guy. By the time they got me in the ambulance, they had calmed Wilson too. The thing is, they didn't just transport me and dump me off t the hospital. They stayed with me till the Emergency Nurse came to take over. This helped. It's hard to be alone when you are not well.. I appreciated their care and kindness. Then the RN, I think Tiara? Began her professional attentive care calmed me. When you can't breath it creates fear and she was quick to give me care. Jade was already waiting to do a chest x-ray and was as kind as could be. They don't want you to drink anything, when you first arrive till they determine your care. But when you are struggling to breathe you become very uncomfortably dry. My Nurse gave me a sponge wipe for my lips. It sounds small but it so was not. Dr. Sing was terrific and efficient. Answered my questions and admitted me to the hospital. I was eligible for hospital at home because I am a senior . An excellent choice. I had been in this program before. I have asthma that can get out of control and they have been able to stabilize me before. The care you can get at home without being in the hospital is a big plus. A virtual doctor visit every day and 2 RN visits give you the support that you need without the trauma of being hospitalized. The Doctors were fantastic. I can't remember all their names but I do remember a Dr Leu and Dr Malek. There were 2 others and I am sorry I cant remember their names. The Doctors did not just give me medical directives, they partnered with me and planned with me. Very noble. Thank you. My Nurses, Christine, Michael, Joe, Sarah and Emily, all very thorough and compassionate. Even the couriers who delivered needed medicine, equipment and even food were prompt friendly and professional. I am feeling better and those partners are the reason why. Wilson Cheese made a bunch new friends. It's nice when the folks are caring for you, accept and understand your extended family. Thanks to you all.

I would like my doctor to have listened to me a bit more about what I thought was going on rather than being told that she didn't know and that it may have just been a virus. She was friendly and didn't rush me, but I felt we could have had a better dialogue.

Regarding this practice and specifically Dr. Parag Patel's staff:…read more 1) Called three times to follow up prescription refill to no avail. All went to voicemail. This is weight loss meds that should be administered weekly. We already missed one week 2) They will tell you to come back every 3 months or less for "follow up" checks. And of course, to maximize profit. 3) Bloodwork is done in their clinic which is convenient, but would charge additional for what is supposed to be 100% covered by insurance. 4) Will charge $30 for no-show, but will not send a single reminder either via text or email or call. And you can't dispute these charges. I wish I could also charge them for all the 'no-updates' and 'no-callbacks'. Already looking for a new Primary Doctor. Sigh.
