She is 100% walk in and no insurance required or accepted. There are set prices of $40 for adults, $15 kids under 12 and $30 for seniors over 65. The simple way is you sign in and wait until you are taken in to see her....the downfall is the wait could be hours. Now before you pitch a fit the plus is that Heather at the desk will call you when you are nearing your appointment time so you can head back in. When I checked in I was quoted the wait time of 3 hours but since there is plenty of stuff to do in the area this was not a worry. The wait time is not an exact science so please don't be a tool and whine if you come back on your own at 3 hours and are still waiting. Every single person has different issues that might take more time than your kid that has a bad back from sitting on their ass playing Fortnight (that's still a thing right?). Your slipped disc from playing frisbee golf trying to impress Janice from Accounting still isn't as bad as my back fresh from surgery so get over yourself. I...am sorry about that I was flashing back to my visit. Anywhoooo, Dr Molly was super detailed in her explanation of what she wanted to figure out after learning of my issues. She gave me an exercise to do at home and a fresh ice pack for the night. If I am feeling better with no issues she's happy but if not I will be swinging by for another appointment for the next steps.

He runs the practice on his own, with his wife, and a front receptionist, yet somehow he keeps everything moving smoothly. Even without a big staff, he gets patients in and out efficiently, never making you feel rushed, but also never keeping you waiting long. The time you do spend waiting in the cheery and modern waiting area is a great time to meet fellow patients and make a friendly new acquaintance. What makes the visits enjoyable is his personality. He's got a fun, upbeat way about him that puts you at ease right away, whether that be talking about cars to discussing the strokes of an artist's hand movements. He cracks a joke, shares a story, and makes you feel like you're talking to a friend rather than sitting in a doctor's office. It's a balance of professionalism and approachability that makes every appointment feel less like a chore and more like a quick reset. The enlightening feeling of being there can make even a mummy smile. On top of all that, he knows his stuff; He explains what he's doing in a way that's easy to understand, and he takes the time to make sure you're comfortable. You walk out not just feeling better physically, but also with a smile on your face. If you're looking for a chiropractor who combines expertise with a down-to-earth, relatable style, this is the one to see. He makes the whole experience simple, effective, and genuinely enjoyable.

Combining acupuncture with chiropractic care and a new physical therapist, I regained full mobility after my first PT group thought an arm extended parallel to the floor was good enough!! Happy to say No way . This was 9 years ago and I still sing her praises.

Short Take - Dr Belko is not your average Chiropractor by any stretch. Combining Chiropractic…read morecare, Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with 20 years of practice, she is a practical and welcome change to the doctor that makes you wait, sees you for a few minutes and tells you to come back next week. Also note: Pay at the the time of service only. Insurance not accepted but they do give you a super-bill to submit to your insurance (or FSA reimbursement). DO NOT BE LATE. Long View - I wasn't given a direct referral to Dr. Belko. I had a problem with my shoulder that a PT could not easily solve and the PT suggested I seek Acupuncture. I'd seen a few billboards in SJ advertising doctors, and live close enough to Chinatown in Philadelphia to explore options. But something drew me to a red brick building with a somewhat small inconspicuous sign on Clements Bridge Road in Runnameade, maybe it was the carved wooden dragon on the side of the building. 12 years later, and I still cannot recommend this doctor enough. She is forthright and compassionate, practical and intuitive. She takes the time to listen to what is happening in your life, all the while noticing the inflections in your voice, the body language, and the nuances that set apart a healer from the the run of the mill doctor or chiropractor. A necessary note - DO NOT BE LATE. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will have to reschedule your appointment. If this sounds unreasonable, consider the fact that you will never wait in her offices for your appt. She will see you at the time that was scheduled - really. I've been late few times, and even given the years that I have been going, I still had to reschedule. But the upside (and it's huge) is that she is never late for you, Dr Belko is a pay-at-the-time-of-service office. This means that you pay your bill directly and then you can submit to the insurance company or your FSA for reimbursement. The office does take debit cards if you have an FSA or MSA that provides you a debit card for your account. If this seems cumbersome, and I know some folks won't go to a doctor that does not take insurance, well, respect that the level of care is worth paying for it upfront.

I worked with Dave on both PT and their Softwave therapy and somehow wiped away 10+ years of injuries (hamstring pulls, multiple rotator cuff/neck injuries, and a ton of others). I cannot speak highly enough about Active Life because their approach is what PT should be- a partnership to help figure out what's going on and get you on a path to where you want to be. The Softwave machine was a game changer for me, as I have had a ton of deep muscle pulls and soft tissue injuries from sports over the years that never healed properly so it was always really tough for me to get back into shape. I was amazed how the Softwave therapy hit exactly where these issues were, and in some cases felt immediate relief. I could feel the decompression of certain areas and even felt 'lighter' after sessions. For me, the biggest benefit was giving me the confidence to get back into exercising. It felt like I was always taking one step forward and two steps back until I started working with Dave. The Softwave machine coupled with his expertise in PT really helped me build a foundation that I could take with me. Active Life gets my highest recommendation and I hope they help you as much as they helped me.
