I have been seeing Shane McCann, DC of South Jersey Sports Chiropractic for various sports related aches, pains and injuries on and off since the Fall. Shane's primary goal when treating his patients is to keep them in (or getting them back to) their sport. He takes his time listening to your complaints, and asks a lot of questions about your training and what is bothering you. He is not the type of doctor to just tell you to stop running (or whatever) unless that is truly warranted. He takes his time treating the injury, not the symptoms. I always walk out of his office feeling better than when I had walked in. I have learned a great deal about the mechanics of my body and how the body reacts to training in my sport. I would highly recommend him to any athlete.

If you are a high school or college runner, weekend warrior or even just need to get your back or spine adjusted, I highly recommend them. After every single visit I've always felt better. Aside from them solving the problem and getting to the root issues, they are just nice guys and always willing help. Their entire team is friendly, genuine, and incredible from their front desk staff, to their chiropractors, to Dr. Kemenosh himself. I cannot sing them enough songs and highly recommend them for whatever your fitness or life goals are. I've never had a single issue and it's why I continue to go back.

Even without a big staff, he gets patients in and out efficiently, never making you feel rushed, but also never keeping you waiting long. The time you do spend waiting in the cheery and modern waiting area is a great time to meet fellow patients and make a friendly new acquaintance. What makes the visits enjoyable is his personality. He's got a fun, upbeat way about him that puts you at ease right away, whether that be talking about cars to discussing the strokes of an artist's hand movements. He cracks a joke, shares a story, and makes you feel like you're talking to a friend rather than sitting in a doctor's office. It's a balance of professionalism and approachability that makes every appointment feel less like a chore and more like a quick reset. The enlightening feeling of being there can make even a mummy smile.
