Front - The image shows the interior of a cafe or restaurant with a decorative mural on the upper wall, featuring abstract and nature-inspired artwork. Below the mural, there are shelves with small potted plants and jars. The counter area includes a coffee machine, juice dispensers, and a digital screen displaying event information. The setting appears modern and organized, with a focus on beverage service.

This is a hotel cafe and the atmosphere has a bit of the corporate approved anti-septic yet artsy feel. The staff seems new which means service is slow for now although pleasant. Expect to pay hotel cafe prices for food. There are great bakery item selections here. The internet tested at 30/30. There are around 10 bar stool seats with electrical outlets nearby. Add on the calm jazzy music and its a good place to work. There are another about 15 seats across 3 tables. Cozy seating equals a good place to meet friends. Overall, good addition to the neighbourhood and I would come back.

a cup of coffee on a table - A disposable coffee cup with a white plastic lid is placed on a dark green marble table. The cup features a beige sleeve with the logo 'JIRITU CAFÉ' and a small label indicating 'Tencho Golo.' A brown napkin is positioned underneath the cup, and the background shows part of a white chair and a wall. The setting appears to be inside a café.

I love ginger beverages- it wasn't overpowering here, I mostly tasted the kiwi and sparkling lemonade. It was busy in there but we still got our orders and drinks quickly, I appreciate how fast the service was. My friend got one of their banana bread drinks - if you like the taste of hojicha, this was particularly strong which I personally enjoyed! Love how the store also has sections where it is like a little market selling local goods and always fun to see the dogs that are sitting outside. The prices are a little expensive (my refresher before tax was $7.5) but typical for what you'd pay in Toronto for a fun drink, from what I've seen.

I'd absolutely come here to get some work done if I was able to get a seat. One thing I really love is that they sell handmade goods from local artists and host craft nights, it feels very community driven and adds such a fun, unique touch to the café. Drinks I tried: Maple Goguma Latte - Slightly nutty, lightly sweet, and super comforting. I added a shot of espresso, which made it perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Dalgona Latte - A really fun drink with great texture. Just make sure to stir it well since the sweetness settles at the bottom. They're known for their creative, seasonal drink menu, and I'm already excited to come back to try what they release next season. Definitely a must-visit if you love cozy cafés, unique drinks, and supporting local artists.

Seating is solid, but noise can be hit or miss depending on the time of day. Coffee is good but a bit inconsistent. I usually go for cortados, and while I've had some really good ones here, other times the milk-to-espresso ratio feels off. The flat white, on the other hand, was excellent. Still need to try the pour-over. Service is always good too! Food is solid. Chocolate chip banana muffin was great, turkey sandwich was okay. Overall: Come for the space and vibe, and try a few drinks before locking in your go-to.

I also snagged a small cookie, which was perfectly fresh and tasty. They don't miss a beat on any of the small details! The atmosphere is fantastic; it's vibrant, cozy, and just a great place to be. The only thing you need to know is that this café is popular for a reason. It's often busy, so you might not always find a table to sit and work at. But honestly, the quality of the coffee and the great vibe make the occasional standing-room-only situation completely worth it. Just grab your perfect drink and enjoy!

We shared the Mango Bingsu, and it was huge--easily enough for the five of us. The flavor was a solid 9/10, super refreshing and delicious. If they had crispy corn flakes on top, it would've been a straight 10/10 for me. We also got two Dalgona Lattes, one with oat milk, and she differentiated them with the coasters, which was such an adorable touch. Now I need to go back just to try more drinks! Parking was free but a little awkward--spots are at an angle, and the plaza can get busy. But honestly, it's worth it. When we went, a few moms were catching up over bingsu, and it was such a wholesome vibe. Can't wait to be back and explore more of the menu!

Service was friendly and quick as usual. There's free parking at the plaza, though a bit tricky to find a spot during peak hours (dinner-time to closing).

The space itself has a really niche aesthetic and I especially loved the unique window design. I arrived around 10 a.m. and the café was busy but not overwhelming, with a steady flow of people coming and going. I ordered one of their winter specials: an iced matcha with black sesame foam. It was pricey at $10, but honestly one of the best I've ever had. They instruct you to sip the foam first before mixing, and the flavours were bold with just the right amount of sweetness. The service was incredible. They actually brought my drink over, which I wasn't expecting, and when we were done they came by with water and cleared our empty cups. Such a pleasant surprise! All in all, highly recommend this spot. I would come by all the time if I lived nearby.

I loved the toppings on this drink though - full of banana flavour. Ube matcha latte 4/5 - Beautiful purple colour of the ube matched with the vibrant green matcha. The cookie crisp on the top of this was so delicious, crispy and paired perfectly with the drink. It's again a tad sweet for my liking but overall still amazing! Can't wait to come back for more seasonal drinks they will have here. Overall, a must try!

This coffee shop is nestled semi-behind a pillar beside the lobby of the Intercontinental hotel Toronto, which adds to its charm for me, in a way. Love finding a good "hole in the wall" :) I love the bright, feminine, beachy decor and coral pink & aqua blue accents. It's not too tropical, but it definitely transports you outside of Canada. Coupled with Aussie staples like vegemite and Noosa magazines (takes me straight back there!), as well as gorgeous ceramic coffee mugs for purchase, the vibes are great here. While it is a smaller shop, there is enough seating for 3 tables, and it's very cozy. Had to go for a flat white, given the Aussie homage here. This one got my approval (and I'm picky about my flat whites) - they used a lighter, more balanced espresso roast, paired with just the right amount of creamy frothed milk. They also had a banana bread latte that my companion really enjoyed too! Looking forward to my next visit!

I realized it was already late fall and I hadn't yet had my one and only PSL of the year, so that's what I ordered. It was decent as far as PSL's go and came with a lovely little foam pumpkin on top. Tres adorbs. The iced strawberry matcha latte also looked incredible and I had order envy. My friend ordered a pastry and said it was delicious. They also have a great little selection of food items, canned bevvies, coffee beans, teas, as well as souvenir gifts for purchase such as ceramic mugs. Did I mention the coffee was really good?
