I have a tractor and zero turn mower from the Purcellville branch. Each purchase I worked with a salesperson that listened to how I'd be using the machine and made recommendations. Each item i have has been outstanding. I can do most routine service myself, but when I need them, their service department is also easy to work with. They have a wide range of durable, hard working machines. They also have good financing terms and frequent specials. When I moved to the country I really had no idea about what to get but along the way I learned to maintain a beautiful, large lot. I even turned my x590 into a giant vacuum for leaves and clippings via a Cyclone rake. read more

This businesses is an authorized Toro dealer, and I was looking to service a Toro tool under warranty. I spoke to Wyatt from the service department who suggested bringing it over for him to look at. He was just as friendly in person as he was over the phone, took a look at the tool and was able to fix a minor issue on the spot while instructing me how to avoid the same issue in the future. This was a second I received such service at this facility, even though I did not buy the tools there. Although they are a listed provider of such service by Toro, it still felt like an extra level of care I did not experience in other such dealerships in the past. Maybe it is just Wyatt's attitude or the business practice - I can't tell. All I know is this was a most pleasant customer support I have experienced in a while. Thank you Wyatt!!! read more

Stopped in to try and get a tube replaced on my flat tractor tire and after asking the lady in service she turned around in her chair and asked "can we do that" and then proceeded to tell me it would take a week. I'm astonished that a 15 minute endeavor is going to take a week. If you make the mistake of coming here don't expect polite service and I hope you don't need anything repaired for a long long time. read more

Ordered three items in September and was told they would be in end of November. November came and went. Started calling in December and was told yes they were in. Then a few days later told they didn't know where the items were. Finally they picked up the tractor to install. Several days later I called and was told they couldn't find two of the items. Told them to return tractor and credit order. They offered to still bring by one of the items. They did finally credit our account. Still haven't received the item they promised. I would go somewhere else with your business. BTW our salesman was Zach. We didn't have any trouble in 2016 when we worked with Jimmy. read more

Very bad experience. After buying a zero turn I wanted to buy attachment for it. The person I was supposed to talk to (Rick) was very rude and disrespectful. Frustrated, I contacted the manager (Federico Lamas) via email and, well, things did not improve. Not the best customer service and more if you speak several languages ​​and/or you are a woman. I recently moved to Purcellville and now have 3 acres to mow. I went to 4 suppliers of zero turn mowers to do the job. When considering the cost, performance, and maintenance support, VA Tractor was a clear choice. When I needed maintenance they came to my house, assessed my issue, picked up my mower to take to their shop, resolved the issue and brought it back to my home. All this in 2-3 days. Ron, who came to my house, spent lots of time explaining the issue, gave me lots of tips for mowing and general yard maintenance, and tips for keeping my mower in long lasting condition. I recommended them to a friend who was about to buy elsewhere and he changed his mind and went to VA tractor that day. I highly recommend VA Tractor. read more

Terrible customer service. This doesn't operate like a business. I called for a quote and was told I'd receive a call back. Nothing until I called the them back. Even then I was never emailed a detailed quote as promised. Please do yourself a favor and find a better location with real customer service. read more

I felt at home there, Rick along with the staff was extremely patient, friendly and honest and answered all the questions I had, and there showroom was so nice "amazing actually" very clean along w/there sales lot. Very expensive and not very trustworthy in the service department. They do work or replace parts that are not necessary.

Copied over from Carlyle and Anderson - yes these are the same knuckleheads with a different name. Very poor service. Recently bought a new cutter from them. They charged me a total of $350 for delivery, setup and installation. When the delivery man showed up he didn't have everything he needed to mount to my machine. Then he copped an attitude and said it was either the Salesman's fault or the Customer's fault. Last time I checked the customer is always right...not at Carlyle and Anderson. On top of this I had to level the thing (3 in difference from side to side) and move the tail wheel so it wouldn't drag on the ground in the stow position. When I expressed displeasure with management they were completely unrepentant. Recommend you use Warrenton or Frederick John Deere dealerships. These guys aren't worth your business and they sure don't value it. read more

I dropped stihl weedeater off for new coil. 2 months later still wasn't fixed. I was never kept informed, never offered a loaner. Was told part on backorder. Just put it on the shelf and forgot about it and me. When I went to pick it up (never was repaired ) they charged me for an air filter and sparrk plug. Talk about adding insult to injury. read more

Equipment repair either does not care what they return to a customer or do not spend the necessary time or communicate with their customers issues with equipment. I have two pieces of equipment in their shop for weeks and both came back either non-operational or not repaired. I do not recommend them and feel they did not provide the service they charged me for. read more
