I sent out 5 requests for quote and Tony was the first to come out to check things out. I received a quote from him the same day. His quote was not the lowest, but after comparing what each company said they would do and how they were going to do it, I decided to go with The Tree Surgeon. Tony and his crew came out after the ice on he ground had melted and the rains ceased. They got the job done quickly and professionally. Now my front yard is cleared of old debris from years of neglect by previous owners and I feel safer that the tree line is a little further away from my house and garage. Tony treats his customers like his friends and is willing to spend time talking to them and providing advice. I highly recommend The Tree Surgeon

Finally a lawn service company I can truly rely on. For years I've been trying different lawn…read morecompanies in the area, all the "Green...", "Doctors..." and other large companies who may have started OK but over the years kept degrading their service level for the benefit of an efficient profit producing production line, treating your yard as a part of a cluster of customers, often taking no more than 4 minutes to complete a "service round" regardless of your true lawn need. I looked for a small, locally owned provider, and found Richard to be a perfect fit. Today he completed a first landscaping project we asked of him to perform. With help of Jesus (not the one from the bible, but just a real nice guy) they performed a top notch service of clearing, extending tree and flower beds, converting areas from lawn to flower beds, spreading top soil and mulch and laying rocks on edges. They both showed a lot of care to our requests and instructions, suggested improvements (which we gladly accepted), and were very friendly, forthcoming, and pleasant to deal with - a world apart from the standard lawn service providers we got accustomed to expect. To top it all, the pricing is very reasonable, certainly with the level of execution they provided. So if you live in Leesburg and its near surrounding, and don't care for fancy advertising and rotten service, quickly retain Richard and hope he can still take you!

The lawn I have today as compared to the lawn that I did over two years ago is an incredible improvement. I no longer have to spend considerable time working in the yard. Now it is an absolute joy to come home and see my yard all trimmed up. If by chance, I am home and they are doing the yard work, they are super fast. I highly recommend Jano Lawncare Services.

Received 3 site visits from Jonathan over the final year. The estimate for repair work was vague and required me hammering out a scope of work for the quoted fixed cost. Received the final site visit one day before the repair work, which was then completed nicely. Days later, received an invoice for 150% of the quote with no explanation. When I balked, Jonathan said that it was not a fixed-cost event (it was), further degradation may have occurred since the site was last visited (24 hours earlier) and he did not know how long the work would take until it was completed (after 3 site visits). After a well documented summary accounting of phone conversations, e-mails and site visits submitted to the company owner, the original quote was honored. Yet the owner never replied to or attempted to contact me regarding the negative experience. Again, years ago, great experience. More recently, very shifty.
