I reached out to B&B Appliance. They reached back out to me within 5 minutes and asked when I would like them to come. They were upfront about the cost for coming and when I said tomorrow, I was shocked to get a reply saying no problem. They said between 8:30-9 am and they arrived within that window. It took them no time to find the problem. They had to order the part and said it should be in by Thursday, and they would call that morning (today) with an ETA. True to their word a call came in early, and we were told between 11-1. Once again, they came in the time quoted. They talked with my husband for a while and discussed the type of issue we were having, saying it was not the first time they had to replace that same part in a Maytag. My husband was very satisfied with them. Rest assured if we have any future appliance problems, they will be the people we call. If you want a reliable company, who says what they are doing and takes the time to explain what happened, then call them! My husband and I are both very satisfied with the service we received. Instead, the owner coordinated with my tenant, and the stove was fixed in a timely manner. The bill was sent via text to me which allowed me to stay home and tend to other matters instead of driving 60 miles to Winchester. I own a duplex which means I have double the number of appliances. I know who to call next time one needs repairing. And I'll bet anything, I'll have to call just one time.

Our LG washing machine had been stalling out with an error code indicating an issue that was likely a failing vibration sensor, this would leave our clothes partially washed and sopping wet. John from Top Notch came to our house, observed the washer failing to complete a cycle multiple times with the same error code and listened to our concerns. After leaving to research the problem he left a voice mail later that day saying that he had consulted a colleague and suggested that we were just loading it incorrectly, he then described in detail how to properly load a washing machine. For context, we had been using this washer for three years without issue before it suddenly started failing mid-cycle, we are also both in our mid/late thirties so we have some experience doing our own laundry. We decided to go back to Sterling Appliance who believed us when we said there was a problem and they replaced the board with the sensor. I called another company about repairing my refrigerator that wasn't cooling below 50 degrees. I called Estes, Sam (owner) answered, listened, gave what he thought the problem might be but assured me that whatever the problem was he could repair it. He gave me a window of arrival time that afternoon saying that he would call me when he was on his way. He called, arrived, took a few minutes to check the refrigerator and gave me his diagnosis. It was a relatively simple problem which he repaired in about an hour. While he was working he explained why that problem happened and recommended that if it happens again within a few years we should consider replacing our refrigerator with another brand. He explained why he suggested not replacing our refrigerator with the same brand due to it's inherent design deficiencies. Sam was extremely efficient and when he gave me the bill I was very pleased with the fairness. I can't say enough positive things about Sam and Estes.

It checked out okay, and I was only charged a service fee and I was not pressured into installing additional parts that may or may not have been needed or buy a new appliance. But, within a few days, the refrigerator / freezer was not working right again. Another tech was sent out and installed a new control panel, and I was charged only for the panel (no additional service fee). So far, the refrigerator / freezer is working as it should. Kenny, the Chief Service and Parts Officer, scheduled both calls efficiently and emailed me the dates and times for my approval. He gave me a 2-hour window for each call. On the days of service, I was notified of the exact time the techs would be arriving. Both techs (Bobby and Tyler) were courteous and knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. I called the office to receive copies of the invoices for both calls. Within minutes, Rebecca emailed the invoices to me.
