If there were better options in the area, I definitely would not have stayed. They say they're going through renovations, which is great because the room was stuck in the 60s. It looked like there was mold by the AC, the bathtub was disgusting looking I didn't even get in it to shower - honestly stay elsewhere.....

Lobby is pleasant enough, and minimal free breakfast. We had a "suite" which is a small foyer with a loveseat and desk. Coffee and small refrig. Instead indulge yourself by spending a night in the magnificently restored Trinkle Mansion. Owned by Patti and Bernie Pizinger, this century home was restored by Patti in the early 2000s and has been operating for over 10 years. We stayed in the Monroe Room, complete with a antique queen size solid wood bed, claw foot tub, and multi head shower. There are many shared spaces including a library, conservatory and a wonderful side porch complete with a beautiful swing for two. Hot coffee served in a community parlor off the rooms then a three course breakfast iz served in the formal dining room under one of the three elegant Austrian crystal chandelier. This was perhaps the best experience we have had in a B&B in the 25+ years we have been visiting them.

I gave the park an average rating because it has a serious electrical issue with the 30 amp sites. The park was built in the 60's and the electrical is in dire need of being upgraded. On different occasions mainly during the day with the AC running on the area that I was in the main breaker will trip. Myself and others in the area affected by the electrical powering 4 30 amp sites went without power on several occasions for several hours. An employee with the park came out to try and fix the issue and found that the main power supply to the sites affected was only putting out 60 amps just enough to power two 30 amp sites with four connected to the main supply line. The park as in the employee's words badly needs to have the electrical upgraded to avoid outages in the future. Overall the stay was very pleasant but having the electrical issue was very upsetting to deal with. The park does offer internet with a strong signal.
