We arrived shortly after 11 on a Monday and the business was steady. The cafe is situated behind a wine market and has indoor and outdoor dining. We were greeted shortly after being sat and my friend ordered a cappuccino which she enjoyed sipping on. On Monday's (at the time) they had a special were guests could build their own burgers or hot dogs (thus our being there). The topping list was pleasantly surprising and included some really unusual options (and I've seen a LOT of topping options). I got my hot dog with pimento cheese and hot pepper relish. My friend got hers with curtido kraut and sriracha mayo. The curtido kraut had a wonderful latin slant on typical kraut. These were great hot dogs! The frank itself had great flavor and a good bite and the toppings were fun and different. Yum! I got the pesto pasta salad and my friend got their garden salad. We both liked our sides a lot. We'd definitely return to the Caboose Market and Cafe!

No greeting and I wasn't offered assistance despite the fact I was aimlessly walking around. The store isn't huge but does have a big selection. To me the prices seemed higher than the liquor stores near me. I will say I saw several promotions throughout the store, several that had a free mini bottle attached. (Which I never see in DC / MOCO) I was impressed with the mini bottle section and the prices were spot on in that department.
