I went in and bought a bottle of Rum Chata and a bottle of Baileys to make drinks for the holiday season. My husband was in the store to buy two bottles of Nestor. The female store clerk was on her cellphone and never acknowledged my husband so the items were left on the counter. Another time my husband was in the store he purchased a bag of chips and the chips were stale and the store refused to give him a refund. We have spent hundreds of dollars in this establishment only them to treat my husband like trash. Again, this store is racially insensitive to their black customers. Never again.

They seem to be more attentive to their regular (weekly, daily) customers. However, my most recent visits proved to be total wastes of time. The clerks are either outside smoking or huddled in the rear of the store, running their mouths. They make no attempt to wait on a person who is standing at the front counter. I'm fine with that; I know now that I need to go elsewhere, to a store that wants my business. By the way, if they really have cheese, they keep it hidden. I've never noticed any. And I doubt that I would buy it if I saw it. Cheese is supposed to be aged, but I can't imagine Colonial moves enough to keep it edible.

BEWARE OF EXPIRED GOODS!!…read more Last night my friend went to Big Mouth liquor store to pick up boxes of wine for a New Years shindig. A guest poured a glass of Pinot Grigio and took a couple sips. After immediately feeling sick because of the bitter, rank taste, I took them into a room with more light, we all noticed how dark the wine was. I checked the expiration date on the two boxes of Pinot and they expired almost THREE YEARS AGO!!! I have never seen anything like this before..EVER. This is unacceptable and the BBB and health department will be contacted. Establishments selling and serving food and drinks need to be aware of sanitation and expiration dates.
